Gestalt
watch?v=kCxxrkw_MjM watch?v=0sSZlKzXLPU ...Let's say I have recourses and the means to make a SF movie. What, when, where, and how would U like it to be??? key points: -How far back should I start telling the story? -What character's past (outside of Fox) should I elaborate on? -How could Krystal be included in a prequel? -...and give me an AWESOME title!!! -MOST IMPORTANTLY : Should the Star Fox team be portrayed as Lylat's saviors or kick-butt mercenaries??? "User"
-What in the Hell do I do with Krystal? The same as you would with any other character in the series. Oh, but make sure she gets lots of screen time. That way the movie will be more popular amongst the fanboys and thus be a bigger hit in general. :P

Samantha Weltzin
But you do realize he is right about what he said? Not necessarily. It's been said a lot before, but Krystal isn't popular everywhere. Attracting her fanbase would bring in some people, sure, but it might also alienate others who just don't like her.But again, I think, while User probably believes what he says, the way it was worded appeared as a little playful elbow to those of us who tend to rip on Krystal. Also: Maybe I ought to actually answer this topic, huh? Should probably remake one of the games, I think, so that those seeing the movie who haven't played the games won't be totally lost. Adventures is probably out, due to its length, but the others ought to work more or less.As for characters...all of 'em who appeared in the game it's based on would be good since a movie allows for lots of dialogue and interaction.Do with Krystal what was done in the games, only try, like, developing her personality a bit. You have plenty of creative liberty there. If you're doing SF64, just leave her out.Title: StarFox: The Movie. (BOOOOOO!)
Guest Mr. Mario
Title: StarFox: The Movie. (BOOOOOO!)*Throws tomateos*I can't really say much about the characters other than...if the movie was going to be a prequal to Adventures and a sequel to 64, Krystal COULD be included, maybe we'll all get the chances to know about Cerinia rather than just mentioning it one time in a manuel. Plus...how did Pepper know Sauria (Back then it was Dinosaur Planet) was under attack? Of course a distress signal was made but...wasn't Starfox in the middle of a battle with Starwolf? Was Pepper listening to a Beatle's album or something? ( ). I would like to know Krystal's background story is...You know to make this a good movie, you got to have good actors for the characters (With the exception of Alesia Glidewell for Krystal), you got to have a good plot (Don't make me call the Nostalgia Critic... ), you got to have a good director and...good music too ( I didin't really like a few music titles in Assault...).I'll come up with a SF movie title later.... "User"
You're totally baiting Robert, Milky, and I, aren't you? Not really, it was more my past rabid Krystal fanboyism leaking into this topic but do I look forward to seeing your responses? As long as they aren't a precursor to drama then sure! :P
Gestalt
I think I am leaning more towards a SF64 time-period with insight on the characters untold past...When I asked about Krystal. I simply wanted to know how should she be introduced if there are any sequels. Personally, i think she is ok, but I don’t want to upset people by doing Dinosaur Planet all over agian. Kid_Cortet
It would be awesome to have a Movie made in honor of StarFox....but Nintendo will never allow Hollywood to touch their games ever again (after the Mario Movie)
Xortberg
It would be awesome to have a Movie made in honor of StarFox....but Nintendo will never allow Hollywood to touch their games ever again (after the Mario Movie)I loved that horrible pile of crap. And although I've never been a huge StarFox fan, I'd love for a movie to be made. It could either just be an over-the-top action movie, a deeper story explaining character pasts, or a mix of the two, and I'd like any of them. SF has huge movie potential, if only for all the awesome explosions.
Vy'drach
SF has huge movie potential, if only for all the awesome explosions. Then perhaps we should petition Michael Bay to do it.*WARNING* Bit of some crude sexual humour in this too (When the idiot movie goers are being shown). It's fine from :15 to :52 though.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AR23f08yBA

Matrilwood
Movies never fully conform to the original ideas. Even if you set the movie before the original game, Krystal would make an appearance.I would set it at the time of Starfox2, where Andros actively invades the Lylat System. Whether or not Krystal is in it depends entirely on how accurate you want to be. Although in that case it would be a double edged sword. If you didn't have Krystal people would complain that it was missing their favorite character, if you did have Krystal, people would complain that you changed the story-line simply to satisfy a demographic audience. What, when, where, and how would U like it to be???key points:-How far back should I start telling the story?-What characters do and don’t I include? -What in the Hell do I do with Krystal?-...and give me an AWESOME title!!!I have a suggestion for a movie preference! - Start, maybe, before even when Star Fox began; retell the story of James McCloud from whenever he began to lead the original Star Fox team.- Use James, Fox, Peppy (Of course lol), Slippy, mention Falco, Bill, Slippy, and Wolf.- Well, since it being a prequel to the entire series, you do not mention her. - Maybe something like, "Starfox: Entitled Beginnings"? JCMasterman
A Star Fox movie...never thought I hear those words in the same sentence honestly. I have imagined it a few times in the past but couldn't shake the feeling that it would suck no matter who made or directed it.That being said, I'd probably go see it out of curiosity more than anything else. Not the biggest Star Fox fan you'll ever meet but the sci-fi elements do hold my attention. It also depends on where and when the movie would take place. JCMasterman
But you are a Krystal fan.Yes, but not a huge fan of the series itself.
