All we were doing was discussing. We did go slightly off topic when you we started yelling it won't happen. So this topic is far from destroyed everyone.

o. so whos makin it?

No one is making a movie, their welcome to try but it probably won't turn out well.

I'm still in this, so yes you were talking to me. And unless Nintendo actually made a star fox movie it wouldn't be helpful as most fans don't know as much about star fox as the makers do. And as I've said they probably won't do it right and new fans to the series who would have found it helpful might get the wrong idea on what star fox is.

Alright come on guys, relative posts please.

Alright I'm done after this one.

Okay well then that's a video not a movie.

That's the entire point of this topic. See the first few posts and you'll know what I mean.

halolz-dot-com-nope.avi.gif Just because people make there own videos on youtube doesn't mean a major company is going to want o make one for themselves to one up the fans videos.

theres movies on youtube.

Once more, those are videos. Any movies on youtube were on the big screen beforehand and are cut into pieces.

No, that was a discussion on fanmade star fox movies

Discussion + subject = topic. No trolling done here, well not much at least.

This idea isn't as dead as you might think. I stumbled across a YouTube music video a couple of weeks ago that led me to This Facebook Wall which contains the most serious SF film proposal I have seen, complete with a professional intro storyboard by Ron Hobbs, who storyboarded the X-Men movie.

Of course it isn't in production yet, as it is still apparently just a proposal, but it is worth watching.

There is an article on the main site about this.

Wow DZ, that is a great find. If that move was to be made, I would die to watch it.

*Goes into geek mode* I dunno I really would like someone who actually knows the plot or games before they decide to make a movie of it.I've seen other video game movies and they were just SAD.Now if they do make one the question is 2D or 3D animation.I'm actually sick of 3D but for some reason I'd like to see SF in 3D animation.

Here's an idea I had for an intro to a movie.

We see a damaged ship in space. Inside James McCloud leads his young son into an escape pod and shuts the door. "Son" he says, "never give up". And he releases the pod.

After that James either gets blown up in the ship or he goes into battle with Andross and looses. And Fox witnesses it all. After that Fox realizes what he must do, defend the Lylat Cluster.

The main problem with this idea is that it too closely resembles Gene Starwind's backstory from Outlaw Star, so this probably can't be used. But I think it would be cool if the soundtrack could be done by Joe Boyd Vigil.

I heard, that someone approached the Nintendo people to do a film for them, they rejected it. WHY WHY

Because it was derpy

If you're talking about Irwin Rathore's.

I'm curious, tell me more about this "derpy" concept.
