Sharingan Snagger Outlaw

First of all I have to link to DA due to it's enormous size as a file (2 MB!).

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/32398699/

Gift art for a good friend of mine.

She's a pokémorph like myself (she's a hybrid Jolteon/Flareon/Ampharos morph) and normally she has a red cyborg eye, but I felt like putting her in a Naruto cosplay so I gave her a sharingan for kicks and giggles (and yes that's an automail arm).

This probably took me a good ten hours total. My style is a true b**** to do.

And yes, a half-anused background and closeup... I think this turned out quite well if I do say so myself.

The pressing question is... am I improving?

The more you comment, the better I get and the quicker I get to making more Krystal pics, ok? :3

The concept for this picture is an abhorrent bastardization of all things anime with all things Mary Sue.

The pic ain't bad, though. Her hand's a mite small. I'm no art critic, that's all I got.

Those friggin hands... oh how I loathe thee! I can never get them the way I want them. I think I went overboard with the folds for the right arm and could've gone with a bit more detail of some things...

Thanks for the feedback.

Hmm... as TakeWalker pointed out, the hands ARE a bit small... hmm, it's alright in many aspects, though, I have to admit.

Typical of my totally random and messed up mind, the only suggestion I have is this: When you get a file to put on the internet, /always/ make it .jpg. Avoid .png (They're called 'Portable Network Graphics' but they're really terrible) and especially .bmp. .jpg at 100% quality looks just as good at a fraction of the file size - easier for those 56kers out there (And us poor 256kers... Really, we don't have it much better).

PNG has it's uses, but it isn't good for internet use, use Jiff complinat (.jpg) of Graghics interchange format (.gif)

PNG's are SLIGHTLY HIGHER quality, but at a majoir sacrifice to size.

TIFF's are okay, but almost noone uses them.

good point a/b Bitmaps too, Grimlog!

They are the worst for size( of the nonvector, single layer, anyway)

Hey is this a discussion about the image or about the image extention?

I am a stickler about stuff like this, I will not sacrifice any quality when I upload my work.

Good point......In fact, I really shoud not say anything as my renders rarley drop below 1024 by 768.............

Quality rocks far more than file size, unless you have it in your signiture, or somthing. wich you didn't........

to be honest, it dosn't make too much of a diff unless the resilution is very small (avatar, small pics are best at high quality), or preversely large (2560 by 2048 pixel, 32 bit 3D render....ummmmm, size.....)

Post more Good stuff!....
