The date is December 12th. In the now ruined city of Corneria, and the remaining survivors of the 'incident' sit atop an abandoned rooftop, counting their supplies, and discussing their plans. For now, it is only them, and the man who started this mess remaining, and for the time being, it seems that all hope is...gone.

Presenting: StarFox: The Echoes & Silence

Day 1

"Ahem" coughed a irritated Rhode "This is how it's going to end. Us, versus the living dead, and whatever sick experiments that douche bag scientist has." He checks his 9mm. pistol, 1 round loaded, 5 more in each pocket.

The building that the 'gang' is atop of, was once their old hangout, "Johnny's Bar & Grill" where they'd come every Saturday and meet when work was over and done with to catch some football, or just have a good time, or used tohave a good time. The once strong brick building, now looked like it lost 10 rounds with Chuck Norris, barely withstanding it's own weight.

Down below, the once friendly city people, now roam, blood thirsty, and looking for one unlucky soul to devour.

"If I had to choose between being a prisoner of war over this, I'd..."

"Rhode, just keep it quiet for a while." Said, Carly, Rhode's newer girlfriend who seems to be the only one taking this situation the calmest.

"Fussing won't help our chances." She snapped back at him.

"Well then, does anyone have any plans of getting more supplies? We've stripped the pub of what they had, and it's not even enough to last for 2 days."

[Guest Mr. Mario]

"I really do not understand with why the people in Corneria are...well, pyschoatic. It just seems...bad." Norman said while adjusting his .45 caliber gun, it was his favorite weapon of choice, the second being the sniper rifle. "Well if we are willing to do this to survive...it's the only option we got. We'll have to fight them on the way...as we all try to make it in one piece." He continued, checking his watch to look at the time.

"Hopefully we get ourselves some grenades, I mean we are going to fight A LOT of people aren't we? They could be in groups...or planning some tricks on us and without a grenade...we wouldn't wipe them out so quick."

[EazyIN]

"Well, we have to have a plan before we jump to conclusions." Rhode said while lighting a cigar. "And we have these 2 beers, think we could make some makeshift molotovs for the time being?" He said, Looking out into the city.

[Guest Mr. Mario]

"All right then, you're the boss." Norman said, picking up some binoculars that was on the ground near his shoes. He used the item with his eyes to see if he could spot anybody from a distance...preferably a merchant that sold ammo and guns. He didn't seem to find any people roaming around Corneria to find the group...yet.

'Man, where is a merchant when you need it?' He thought, putting away the binovulars.

"Alright, I'll go down below to see if any gasoline or more bottles are around. Can you guys cover me from the roof?" He said while scratching his head. "I don't want the whole team going with a risk of a swarm." He spotted at gas station about 3 blocks west of the rooftop. "Alright, here goes nothing, I think I can make that little leap from rooftop to rooftop for a few buildings, then I'll take to the ground."

He leaped from the tavern rooftop and barely made the landing on the small store top below.

Rhode jumped off of the store top to the ground and tried to sneak his way past the horde.

"Alright you guys cover." He said in a whisper over the walkie-talkie.

He made his way past the police station 2 buildings down, until he was lunged at by an infected dog.

Rhode's gun immediately fell out of his hand. He managed to grab the radio with one hand while holding the dog's neck with the other

"NEED SOME HELP HERE!'' He shouted.

[Sylum]

A shot rang out as Sylum's Judge roared as it release a shot straight into the body of Rhode's attacker. As soon as the round left the chamber Sylum was already reloading 3 of the chambers with .45 caliber rounds and and 2 shotgun slugs.

"I'm counting that one." Sylum said turning to his friend. A red wolf stood behind him watching as the round blew most of thw dogs side apart.

"You can't count that! It was a dog. Not a person." The wolf said. His name was Cruxis.

"you never specified that they had to be bipeds. You just said infected. That also make this  7 to 6. I'm winning." Sylum said with a smirk. He picked up the radio. "Rhode, you ok down there?"

[Guest Mr. Mario]

'Looks like I'm going down now, I don't want to be surrounded by these people and having to jump off the roof...' Norman thought while he quietly sneaked close to the door...waiting a few moments, he kicked the door open and went down the stairs inside "Johnny's". So far he didn't find any people around to kill yet...that was until he heard something or someonne yelled something out.

"Who's there?!" Norman shouted to see if he could get a response.

After a moment of no response, some dogs jumped out of nowhere and walked near Norman.

"HEY! I'M TRAPPED HERE!!! MY WEAPON IS NOT THAT POWEFUL!!!" He shouted to get attention.

[EazyIN]

"When I get back, remind me to buy one on the house for the person who saved me." Rhode said over the radio.

"Hey! Where's Norm?!" Shouted Carly looking weirded out.

"Don't draw attention!" Rhode hissed over the radio

"I'm making my way further, I'm in front of the station, And it's not how I expected, could someone manage to come tag along with me?"

[Guest Mr. Mario]

"Ah screw this, I'm not becoming chow any longer." Norman said to himself while he pointed his .45 calibur gun at the dogs as they were getting closer to him. Norman managed to pull off a headshot on one of them while he shot one of their legs to stun them, he quickly reloaded his gun before he performed a roundhouse kick to sweep them away. None of the dogs seemed to be moving at all.

Just when Norman thought he was finished, he heard someone start up a chainsaw in a room far away and heard the motor was running. Norman quickly escaped from the Bar & Grill and went outside...just to see more infected coming.

'I don't think Rhode EVER told me anything about chainsaw people...' Norman thought while trying to think of a way to escape...maybe a building that he could hide in would keep him safe?

"Guys...You hear that?" Asked carly, who heard the chainsaw from a distance.

"I think we should start running, we're not safe here, let's go!" She shrieked and jumped from the bar

'We're coming Rhode' she thought.

[Sylum]

"Oh shit....If that's what I think it is, we'll need something bigger than pistols."

"Chainsaw? Hmmm. Who had a chainsaw?" Sylum said turning to his friend and then watching as everyone else was dashing away from their spot. "That can not be good. Well might as well get the hell out of here too." Sylum said as he bolted out of the bar following everyone else. Cruxis hopped over the bar and dashed out the front door.

"Hey hey hey!!! Wait up guys!!!" They both said.

"Guys, I'm here at the station, I'll clear the area the best I can so you can get through." Said Rhode over the radio.

'This is for Johnny, Jym, and Lucy you ungrateful pricks' He thought as he lit a molotov and through it into an on-coming horde.

"Take the roofs as best you can!" He shouted through the radio

"Fine! We'll be there soon!" Barked Carly back through the radio.

"Come on guys hurry up!"

In the distance the chainsaw noise was getting closer...

Norman quickly ran away from the bar and looked behind him that the chainsaw dog was still running with both of his hands holding the chainsaw. Norman fired his gun at his head to hopefully kill it...the dog didn't stop in his tracks, he still kept running after Norman.

Norman stopped and tried to shoot his gun at the dog's head again, he still didn't stop. When he got close enough, he yelled out something and tried to swing his chainsaw across Norman's neck. He barely avoided the attack and ran to the station. Norman reloaded his weapon and fired at the dog's legs...the dog still didn't stop as he still kept chasing the fox.

"Rhode, I'm getting to the station. That chainsaw dog is still after me and I tried to slow him down by shooting him...he didn't die or even slow down or stop. Be careful if you see him." Norman said into his watch that somehow picked up the radio signal.

'What's there to find in here?' Thought Rhode as he scurried through the store.

'Drinks, Food, ... Gas?' He tried to gather as much as he could while waiting for the others.

"Screw it, I'll hide in the feezer" He said to himself

He then heard Norman's call on the radio

"Lure him into the fire!" He shouted back

'Oh sh!t, I'm dead meat now' He thought to himself  after he shouted...

[Kursed]

"Donno you look a lot more  like frozen meat to me." Said a familair blue vixen walking  out of the snowy mist in the freezer and into view of Rhode. "And wasn't this the Ladies part of the Freezer Section?"Krystal added with a smirk.

"Krystal?" Asked Rhode

"I thought you died in the Lylat Hotel over a month ago?" He asked, surprised.

"Well, I'll be...it feels like like forever, but can we chit-chat later? If you haven't already noticed well....Yeah"

"I'm just waiting for the others to get here, they have a chance of getting over that fire wall I made from the outside. I'm stranded for the time being..."

[Sylum]

Sylum slid into the station right under the swing of a infected as Cruxis plowed his pistol straight into the throat of the infected and released a round from the barrel.

" 'sup guys?" Sylum said as he slowly got up. "K-K-Krystal?! I thought you were dead!"

"I love painting walls." Cruxis said with a smirk as he also slid down under the infected's swing. He Made his way to the front counter of the and lifted a bag onto it. "Hey Krysta;. Good to see ya again." He said as he opened the bag revealing an Arctic Warfare Rifle L96.

Cruxis picked up the radio and tried to contact Norman. "Try leading Mr. Chainsaw to the front of the station." He said as he expanded the bipod and aimed the rifle right out of the front.

(We do have better weapons than just pistols right?)

(Yes, I'm just using pistols for the time being, be creative)

"I see some of us made it..." Said Rhode with a smirk "Where's everyone else?"

He tried loading his gun but it ended up breaking in is hands

"Damn..." He said

"Gues I'm going stealth mode..." He said "Here, each of you take some of these, I don't know what you carry but take em' anyway." He handed the others some handgun bullets.

"If we find a gun store, we can all run in, Until then, I'll just stick with knives and Molotovs." He announced

"Made it!" Said Carly who dropped in from a whole in the roof "The wrest of the gang is with Norman" she said "They should be close, we tried holding off that chainsaw dog as best as we could but not much success...

(Disclaimer: Since I started early, the rest of the crew can just be CPU's until their rightful owners join in)

"If that is what you want to me to do, ok then. But please don't mistake me for the chainsaw dog." Norman responded to Cruxis and did as he was suggusted, he ran to the front of the station and still saw the chainsaw dog still after him. He kept trying to swing his weapon across Norman to kill him, he kept on avoiding the attack but...he was getting ready to go out of breath.

"I'm...at the front... of the station....doing as you said...but hurry, I can't avoid the chainsaw any longer!!" Norman said, panting.

Rhode threw a molotov at the dog and it smashed on the attackers foot.

"Flame on..." Joked Rhode

"RUN NORM! WE CAN HANDLE HIM WHEN YOU GET HERE! HURRY! HE'S STUNNED..SORT OF!!!" Shouted Carly

"Just Hurry Norm!" Shouted Rhode As he prepared another molotov

[Guest Mr. Mario]

"I'm getting out...as quickly as I...can." Norman said in a slow tone. He ran away from the chainsaw dog once more and quickly got inside the station, pushing a desk that was nearby in front of the door as if it were a barricade. He looked down in the dark and kept on panting to catch his breath, then he noticed a untouched shotgun (Remington Model 870) on the floor...he looked around to see if it was someone else's weapon...nobody yet.

He putted his .45 caliber gun away and held on to with both of his hands the shotgun, he gave the weapon a pump.

[Kursed]

"Krystal?" Asked Rhode

"I thought you died in the Lylat Hotel over a month ago?" He asked, surprised.

"Well, I'll be...it feels like like forever, but can we chit-chat later? If you haven't already noticed well....Yeah"

"I'm just waiting for the others to get here, they have a chance of getting over that fire wall I made from the outside. I'm stranded for the time being..."

"No i simply left the hotel and i think i can help with the firewall if you want me to."Krystal replied Freezing a nearby zombie with her staff's freeze mist. "Cold works alot faster ya know."

[Sylum]

"Sit boy." Cruxis said as he pulled the trigger, letting loose the large 7.62 round and slamming into the dog's leg bringing him to his knees. "good boy."

He racked the bolt back, chambering another round.

The dog slowly started to get up. " i said sit you infected son of a-" the sound of the rifle drowned out his sentence as he fired again.  The time hitting him in the other leg with similar results. The dog just kept getting up.

"ok. Ok. So you don't want to sit, huh? Well how about stay." He said as he loaded a stronger incendiary round inti the chamber.

As soon as he heard the click of the bolt, he fired again. This time taking off a chunk of the dogs side. He still kept coming.

"Ayone got a rocket launcher I could borrow?"

[EazyIN]

"Try this." Rhode handed Cruxis the prepared molotov.

"If this doesn't work we gotta use full force. Carly, you got the bag to put these supplies in?" He asked the vixen

"Right here. I'll fill it up with what I can find." She said as she scavanged the store for food drinks, and gas.

"Cruxis, I think you deserve the honor of blazing this prick." Rhode said to Cruxis "Just thrown when you're ready. Everyone! Ready Your weapons!This could get messy..." He commanded.

"Here Rhode, take my gun for the time being." Said Carly as she handed Rhode her C96 handgun ()

"Thanks babe." He said back with a small kiss. "Alright guys, and ladies...Lets do this! Lets take back what they stole from us!!"
