CrypticQuery
Apologies if this should be in another section, as I am not quite sure if this qualifies for the fanart area, but Irrational Games' WWII styled takes on Samus, Fox, and Ganon was featured on Gameinformer's website. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2010/12/15/what-if-irrational-made-metroid-and-star-fox.aspx?PageIndex=1(The style is alright, but it definitely isn't perfect )

Sabre
I don't get this. It's another "Cartoons made realistic" thing that has been in fanart for years. The thing that really confuses me though- Why is Fox Japanese?
Guest Mr. Mario
What confuses me is why is Ganondorf German?*Cannot post image*And also why is Samus...well...I'm not sure how to put it this way... (Wait a minute, is that the brotherhood of steel's helmet from Fallout 3 and New Vegas? 0_o )The thing that really confuses me though- Why is Fox Japanese?I'm not sure niether, I would guess it would have to do with character design Miyamoto sticked with... Matrilwood
Ganondorf should be dressed as a Jihad or something. In case you didn't know, Ganondorf is a Gurudo. The Gurudos were inspired by middle-eastern culture. Also with Fox, that's how Japanese fighter-pilots dressed in WWII, so it's actually quite suitable. Sabre
Not really, but I can see the connection. Fallout was the future of the 50s, Samus' armour is the future of the 40s, so it makes sence.

DoctorAllosaurus
Every time I see that Ganon pic, I expect to see Flak from the Advance Wars games.
DZComposer
Ugh.. His name is Fox McCloud, NOT Star Fox. How come no one gets this?
Fluxy
Ugh.. His name is Fox McCloud, NOT Star Fox. How come no one gets this? Some people just say starfox when they relate to Fox. It really isn't much to get upset about. =/I get what you mean, but it isn't much. If it showed Falco, and not Fox, then I might be in your shoes, but not as deep. Vulvokunvrii
hahahahahahah that would be cool and funny i they did make them Like sabre said (in my own words) : it looks like they are from the 50's; like fallout or something

Matrilwood
The title would have looked wrong I guess, they would have had to make Fox's name 2 times bigger and it would look worse than just calling him Starfox.
Kid_Cortet
Why does it seem that Fox is shorter then usual?
The Shaper
Why does it seem that Fox is shorter then usual?Because of all the extra weight they put on him.

Sabre
It's actually cool that this guy's stuff got in Gameinformer. Not really. He/they work for games companies. Chances are their work has been featured before. Other fanart of similar quality hasn't been featured, so I guess it's that.
