Introduction

A note from the author: Well, did you happen to think that the ending that you read in Dead Starfox Rising 2 was true? Well you are wrong, the ending you saw was simply non-cannon as this fan-fic is! This follows Ending A of Dead Starfox Rising 2 (Which I'll have to make soon...), Krystal didn't give Leon any Zom-wow as he begged her to but she still got to fight Andrew Oikonny for purposes that she won't let him escape with all the evidence. As she was heading back to the Safehouse to rescue Marcus and Alex (They weren't captured by Leon in this ending.) and also to change into her bounty hunting gear, Leon decided to rise from the dead and eat Krystal up...as she tried to keep him away from her, the ending was left a cliff-hanger...leaving readers and fans wondering if Krystal is ever going survive...

There can only be a familar face of someone she loved that may help her...or not...no matter what, she must clear her name and stop being framed for the outbreak.

NOTICE: Krystal's bounty hunter outfit is based off of Kate Green. (Only replace the long scarf with a red hankerchief around her neck and also replace the color of the jacket red with a mix of brown and black.)

NOTICE: Krystal's name will be changed to Kursed, so don't avoid any confusion with the new name because Krystal = Kursed.

Chapter I

Years ago, a zombie parasite was introduced to the population of Corneria city as an act of vengeance for the unchecked experiments that devastated a former Starfox member's homeworld known as Cerinia.

Outbreaks have since sprung up in planets around the Lylat System, including Sauria, Fichina and Titania.

Krystal (Now known as Kursed.), the woman framed for the Corneria city incident is fighting for her life...

Allow me to introduce myself now, you may know me...you may not. I was a former member of team Starfox...until I became a motocross champion. I have always been loved for ages by the people...even my friends too. Now...the situation I am still in ever since my first arrival at Corneria is still onto me, I have been framed for this outbreak...that I did not cause whatsoever. If any of you happen to watch any TV...you better run for your own good, I am now no longer the Krystal everyone knows and love...I am simply known as Kursed, I will hurt you if you even say anything bad about me. I am now disguising myself as a bounty hunter so that nobody will recognize me...not even you can identify who I really am. Unless you want to help me out and stop this outbreak once and for all...help me out...or leave.

Inside the elevator, I was punching, shoving and kicking the zombified Leon as he was hungry to eat me since I didn't give him any Zom-wow. The situation I was currently in was life-threatning, he was snarling, growling and attacking me. As I tried to keep him away from me, he managed to pin me down on the ground and tried to eat near my neck, I couldn't attack him as he was getting too powerful and ready to start the feast. When it all seemed like I was going to die any day now, a mysterious figure holding a baseball bat took a whack at Leon. He left one more growl before he was dead for good. I look over to the figure, staring at me and saying

"I never did like that damn show."

The figure happened to be a fox which was dressed up in some sort of clothing that I would expect a photographer to wear...a brown jacket, some green pants with a belt included, some brown shoes and...some sunglasses on it's face. I couldn't identify whether it was James or my husband, Fox. I said

"You look familiar...you must be..."

The fox grabbed me by my arm to help me stand up, after I stood up on my shoes, the fox pushed me back into the elevator wall and said

"Hey, you're the one who is all over the TV...you can't fool me, Krystal. They are saying you caused all this."

"That's bullshit, and I am not Krystal." I said, getting up and walking out of the elevator and heading over to a nearby helicopter.

"Whatever. You know they are vigilanters out of your head." The fox said. "You're commanding a nice bounty."

"Is this why you came here? Huh?" I asked in a angry tone, turning around and grabbing the fox's neck collar.

"Well, maybe I don't exactly believe everything I see on TV..." The fox said, he wasn't scared of me. I letted go of his neck collar and letted out a sigh. I walked over to the edge of the Safehouse rooftop and looked at the view of Corneria, I said

"Sangriabison are the ones who killed thousands in Corneria city, also thousands in Sauria. They are the ones who could've killed my husband...but they're also responsible for the death of Alesia."

"Wait, Alesia....Alesia Chang?" The fox asked me, walking over to the left side of me. "She's...she's dead?"

"I'm sorry...a Sangribison agent, Andrew Oikonny shot her." I said while I watched a helicopter with Sangriabison's name on it carrying a big box that contained something inside...perhaps the Zom-wow drugs. Watching the helicopter leave only made me a little more mad...

"Look, I need proof, dammit. I have to clear my name!" I said, facing the fox again.

"You don't have time for that, they're going to blow this place to hell any second." The vulpine said, holding on to my left arm.

"Well then I'm screwed." I said, lowering my ears in angerness and sadness.

"Look...I got an idea. I have a source that has told me about some sort of Sangribison facility...west of here." The vulpine suggested, his tail flicked twice.

"What kind of facility?" I asked, my tail flicked twice too.

"I don't know, I was going to find out...with Alesia. You might be able to find your evidence there...might be a connection to what happened here." The fox said while he walked over to his helicopter, waiting for me.

As I went closer to the fox, he said "You can come...but if I find out you had something to do with this...you're dead."

"Look, I didn't do it, alright? What are you looking for? A big story? Maybe some way to get yourself back in the limelight?" I said, watching the vulpine's close movements.

"Oh yeah? Is that what you think? There is a hell of a lot more to it than that." He said, stabbing his neck with a dose of Zom-wow...he turned around to face me and introduced himself "And the name here is Fox...Fox McCloud. If you're name is no longer Krystal, what do I call you then?"

"I am Kursed." I said, getting in the helicopter and waiting for Fox to get inside...when he did, the helicopter flew right out of Corneria city and in to the Sangriabison facility...

When we got to the facility, we both stood on a cliff with a beautiful sunset view of Sangriabison. Fox looked into the binoculars and then he handed it to me...I saw while I was focusing it a few workers go inside the facility, unaware that we arrived.

"Looks good. Let's go." I said.

We both crawled inside the air vents to sneak into the facility so that we weren't going to get killed by one of the security guards or someone else. As Fox stop crawling inside, I looked over him and saw a dead end was ahead...preventing us from going inside the facility.

"Shit, a dead end. Nice investigative work, Fox." I said.

"Just drop it, Kursed." He said to me. "And get your ass out of my face, back up."

"You're too close." I said, unable to move back.

"I said drop it!!" He shouted. Then the vent started to break, making both of us fall down and land on our backs...it seemed that our landing was soft for a strange reason.

"Consider it dropped." I said, getting up.

"At least it was a soft landing." Fox said, getting up as well. He looked to see what cushioned our landing....it turned out to be a zombie that was dead. It made us both jump as soon as we heard zombies moaning and watching them come closer.

"Shit, zombies in a facility..." I groaned.

"Just loosen up, Kursed. We can take these guys down." Fox said as he walked back and ran into me, we surrounded by dozens of zombies. Not even our bare hands can take them down.

"You said you know how to combine weapons. Kursed?" He asked.

"Yes." I responded.

"Well you'll be needing to do some of that while we're here." He said.

Chapter II

"I can't build any weapons right now, there isn't much material here. We're gonna have to go unarmed." I said as I was bashing many zombies with a 2x4 wooden block. Fox was using nothing to kill the zombies but his hands and shoes. We both were stuck together with the hoarde of zombies because the gates around us are locked and will not open. For now, all we could do is to survive and take down the zombies before one of us go killed.

After about 7 more zombies were killed, one gate opened up and we wondered what was going on...

"What? There's more?!" I cried as more zombies were coming to us...Fox could see something through the back of the zombies, he said

"That way! Through the back!!"

But as we got through the hoarde to try to escape, there was a door that was locked...making us unable to leave with the zombies, as always, the fight for survival continues.

Fox resumed taking care of the zombies as well as me...until I saw a security camera that happened to be watching us. For sake of myself, I jumped and whack the security camera with my 2x4 wood block, then I said

"Good night, Sangriabison!"

Then I walked away from the door that wouldn't open and pushed through the hoarde to get out of wherever we were, Fox stopped killing the zombies and followed me outside, we still didn't know where we were.

I looked around to see a security gaurd who was armed with a assault rifle (Not like Leon's ruffians.), who was walking around and basically doing nothing, he then saw me and pointed his gun at me. I quickly dodged the bullets and got close enough to him to perform a deadly attack with my hands. I punched him in the face, twisted his neck and stomped on his stomach, killing him.

"Damn, you've got some skills as a asassian!" Fox commented on me, then he walked over to a maintenace room, waiting for me to get inside. Opening the doors to the room, I saw a grenade that was lying on a table along with a football with some letters "LFL" (Lylat Football League) on the object. A idea popped into my hand, so I got close to the table and picked up some duct tape to use to combine these weapons, I taped the grenade to attach to the football and...I finished my weapon...I call it "Hail Mary"

"You head over to the door that says 'Shipping office' and I'll use this weapon to keep the zombies away." I said as I left the room and walked to the zombies who didn't seem to turn around to go after me, with the Hail Mary, I said

"2, 3, 4...Hike!!" then I tossed the football to the group of zombies, followed by a bloody explosion...the weapon seemed to be very nice in use for whenever we get surrounded but it was a 1-use item though so I should make many more of that weapon if see the materials it needs for it again...I walked to where Fox was, in front of a door that would take us to the 'Shipping Office'. Fox opened the door and we both saw that it was very dark inside...but there was still some lights on. Nobody seemed to be inside the office, waiting to kill both of us.

As I got a little farther from Fox, he pushed me down on my back and whispered

"Get down."

He then walked slowly in the office, going through a door that was already opened by a worker of Sangriabison...we noticed a security guard was sitting on a chair, typing something out to someone on the computer. I hid behind a wall and whispered to Fox "There's just 1 guy in there...wait."

Fox nodded his head and waited for me to come back, I walked in the room where the busy security guard was and sneaked behind him...it was not going to be another attack, it was just a alert...then I would attack if he got hostile.

"Hey, buddy!" I said to get the guard's attention.

When the guard heard I was talking to him, he got up from his chair and faced me, giving me a unpleasant look.

"Who the hell are you?" The guard asked.

"Listen, just keep quiet, alright? We do not want to hurt you..." I said, not noticing that Fox was behind me.

The guard suddenly got a assault rifle and another guard popped out of nowhere...no wait, make that 2 guards that popped out of nowhere.

"Oh shit..." I mumbled to myself as they were ready to fire their weapons at me and Fox. As they fired, we both ran out of the room and hid behind a wall. I noticed a assault rifle was near my foot, so I picked it up and fired the weapon as they were reloading... I managed to kill 2 but 1 was missing...were was that last one?

"Kursed!! A little help here!!" Fox cried as he tried to break free from the security guard who was wrapping it's arm tightly around Fox's neck. I fired the last rounds of my weapon at the guard carefully and tossed it away since it was no use now. Fox took a breath for a moment and began to walk into the same room we were in before the fight.

"I guess you still got some life in you...yet. For a old guy like you, Fox." I said, following him.

"Well heads up, rookie. We've got more on the way." He said as he peeked through a window to see more security guards were coming after us...then a announcement was made over the P.A

"Warning! There has been an unscheduled release of the zombie supply!"

"Wait - look! The zombies have gotten out of their pens." I cried as I checked the monitors on the zombies.

"...Supply?" Fox said to himself.

Then all of a sudden, on the computer, the logo of Sangriabison was gone and had something typing out a message...it was a unknown host.

The message said:

Remote Host: Welcome Fox McCloud...and friend.

"I think that is supposed to be my source. He's probably expecting me." Fox said, sitting on the chair and resting his hands on the keyboard, ready to type something.

"Your source works for Sangriabison?! You sure you know what you are doing, Fox?" I asked.

He paused for a moment, then he faced me and said "Use your head. He started the outbreak, to distract security and unlock doors."

"Panther? No, no, no. Look, for all you know this could be a big setup." I said, then heard a fax machine was printing something out. The message was typed out again on the computer, saying:

Remote Host: I've sent you a map.

"It's a map. Check it out." Fox said and waited for me to look at the map that printed out of the fax machine. I went over and grabbed the map, reading the names of the rooms out loud

"Harvasting Room, Refrigerated Containment, Biowaste Disposal? What is this?"

"Look, he says he can hack into the secure networks if we can enter these acess codes. Then he'll be able to download information about this place: Security footage...facilty designs." Fox said, then remembered something he almost forgot, he added "We don't have much time...because the codes change every few hours"

"Then I think we should get out of here. We're being watched." I said as I looked at a security camera that was looking at me. We both left the room and got outside to find a security terminal where we could manuelly input the codes...if we find any.

Chapter III

Ending up in the Harvesting Room where we took down a certain path, I saw zombies underneath from the floor above them, to go up, we had to take a staircase which was nearby luckily.

Walking fast up the stairs, I heard someone who was shouting out some commands from things like "Over there!!", "She's right there!" and "They're both coming!!"

It came from a Sangriabison security guard who was inserting shotgun shells in his semi-auto shotgun weapon. He managed to notice both of us and tried to fire the weapon at me and Fox. We both barely avoided the shells before they came in contact with our fur or clothing and I walked near the guard, cracking some of my bones. I grabbed him by the arms and tried to push him over a edge which had some zombies, awaiting for it's victim to eat. The guard kept struggling to battle my strength and eventually stopped using his power to push me. I watched as he fell down and saw the zombies eat him alive. Fox nodded his head and said "Your reflex's sure are good. Have you been visiting a dojo?"

"Maybe." I said and jumped over the edge and landed on the zombies with my back, it hurted but not so much as Oikonny's attacks. I got up and saw a button that could be pressed for something to happen...I saw a pen that was full of zombies and the button had a label above that read "Incinerator", I pushed it and watched fire getting sprayed out of some machines and burn the zombies up, I pressed the button again to make sure they suffered from the fire, Fox came right behind me and walked to a open door to enter inside of, I followed him before the zombies finally died in the pen.

The room that we entered was "Gas Control" where I thought by the name of it that by messing around with the gas settings, I could shut down the gas that was spreading all around Corneria city...which probably got destroyed by the fire bombing. As we right now didn't have time to mess around in the room, there was a door that had a red, glowing neon sign above it that said "Cafeteria" which this must be the place where everyone at the facility eats at...of course I knew there would be a Cafeteria room in here, I've seen many facilities and other places with a Food Court or a Cafeteria. As none of us were hungry or thirsty, we didn't need to be here any further, so we saw yet another door that we decided to open and enter a new room...the next room was "Living Quarters".

Walking straight ahead, I saw more zombies come walking towards one of us...in a slow speed as always. As I kept moving forward, a zombie out of nowhere grabbed me and started to eat my neck...I shook my body as hard as I could to break free and keep moving forward...which I could see a staircase that was not too far from here. On the wall, there was some words that said "Sever Room" and some arrows were pointing to the right, seeing another maintenance room nearby, I said "Wait here." and got in to make a new combonation weapon...this time, I used a electric stun rod and combined it with a Blast Frequency gun, carefully taping together with the duct tape. After I completed this weapon, it gave my finger a little zap and I pulled back when the static came in contact.

'This is a mighty dangerous weapon, need to be careful with it.' I thought to myself as I left the room and saw Fox whacking a security guard with a wine bottle that was empty and as sharp as a sharpclaw itself.

"Hey, there's more coming. We have to hurry now!" He said and went to a nearby door that had a sign that said 'A3', I carefully handled my combined weapon while I kept moving since it has very high-voltage and whoever touches the electricity gets zapped to death...which almost would've been me.

"Check this out...I think this is a speciemen of a Aparoid." Fox said, examining a glass container that had some egg inside of it filled in some green liquid. The egg didn't move or hatch at all but...it was up to something. Why would Sangriabison want to make Aparoids? Could they be using this to make queens for their "Medicine"?

"Could this be a sign that...Pigma is-" I was interupted by Fox.

"Don't be stupid, we've defeated him countless times as much as Andross." He said and left the room and looked for the wall that had some directions pointing to the Sever Room, I followed him quickly before I lost sight of him. Suddenly, another security guard appeared and with his camera took a picture of me which the flashing light blinded my eyes, preventing to go any further unless I recover eyesight. I rubbed my eyes as quickly as I could and saw everything come back to me...including a voice, which happened to be Fox.

"...ey, hey! Are you OK over there?" He called out before setting off to a path to the Server Room.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I said and catched up with Fox...

In the room were a lot of generator boxes and some computers on desks...plus a main computer that said on the red screen

ENTER CODES MANUELLY

Getting to the main computer and while Fox was protecting me over the zombies, I randomly typed a few codes and eventually the screen turned green and said

CODE ACCEPTED

"OK, looks like this may be the only terminal server to hack through, so let's head back to the Shipping Office and contact your source." I said.

While we both waited for Fox's source to come in contact with us, I asked

"So what's this evidence, Fox? What does it show and when do we get it?"

"It must show what is going on in this place. But he'll need time to download it. Let's get the hell out of here and meet up with him later." Fox answered, taking off his shades and cleaning the lens before putting it back on.

"I still need proof that I was set up in Corneria City. You might have your big story now, Fox...but I'm a dead woman if I don't find some evidence that clears my name for good." I said, giving Fox a glare to his face. He turned around to type out some things on the computer with his source...

Local host: Krystal (Kursed in this case because of her identity.) is looking for information to clear her name. This won't be enough. She says that she was framed for the 2nd Corneria City outbreak and that Sangriabison is responsible for it.

Suddenly, a message popped up on the screen.

Remote host: I'll look around and see what I can find for her.

"He said that he'll try to figure something out." Fox said as he read the new message.

"Try, huh? Yeah, that's great. I'll figure it out myself then." I said and groaned, turning around not to face the vulpine.

Another message came on the screen, saying

Remote host: I want to take them down just as much as Krystal wants to. She has to believe me.

Fox read the message out loud, which made me turn around to face him again, wondering what is next this time now that his source wants to take down Sangriabison. But I have to believe the source...which I find it hard to be earning trust to.

I sighed and said "All right...I guess this is a deal then."

In a unknown room lies a figure who was the head of Sangriabison, it's guards and some security guards to dispatch to take down me and Fox. The figure was sitting in a chair, looking at some monitors and sighing in boredom, one of the guards came to the figure and said to it

"Hey, hey! We've got intruders in our facility!"

"...Who are they?" The figure asked, breathing hard and staring at one particular monitor.

"From the footage we've captured on security cameras around here, it seems to be identified as a red fox who is dressed like a photographer and a purple vixen who is dressed like a bounty hunter!! I don't know their names!" The guard freaked out.

"Calm down..." The figure said.

"But...the cameras, the vixen keeps taking them out!" The guard freaked out again.

"I said calm down..." The figure said, turning it's chair to face the guard who was about to panic. "If you really think the fox and the vixen pose as a threat to us...then send more guards out to kill them, if it makes you feel better..."

"A-a-a-all right!" The guard said nervously and ran away from the figure who resumed looking at the monitors.

Chapter IV

"Hey Kursed, do you know where you're going?" Fox asked me while we both took a very long staircase that was nearby the server room. I for one didn't seem to know where I needed to be at but I tried not to get both of us lost in the big facility.

"...Just follow me." I said, jumping off a roof of a certain room and landing on blue steel platform on my legs, it wasn't enough gravity to cripple one of my legs, so I was OK.

I walked over to see that there was 2 doors, one in front of me, the other on the right side of me...so I had to choose which one to go to. I picked the door on my right side and opened it to see the room had a lot of merchandise and clothing from the same sponserer for motocross: "Otomayim Racing", they even had one of my jumpsuits with the logo of the sponserer on the back of it...which was sealed in a glass box. I walked closer to the box to check out my suit before I was going to leave the room...

"So this is your sponserer, huh?" Fox asked me as he walked in the room and wandered around, looking at the stuff that belonged to the official headquarters of Otomayim Racing.

"I guess..." I said, wondering why Sangriabison would want some of my racing gear and some other stuff...it makes me think the workers here are just like the Sharpclaws in Sauria.

"They even have my racing suit here..." I added and rubbed a bit of the glass.

"Did you leave the original suit at the casino resort?" Fox asked me.

"I don't know...possibly." I responded.

"Well if you change into that suit, everyone in the facility will know you. We'll both be dead because we'll get exposed by Sangriabison...especially you." He said.

"Then we can come back here later on the way out." I said and left the room and opened the door that was the entrance to "Living Quarters X1". Fox remained behind me and we both inspected the room, checking for some evidence that will clear my name...so far, there was nothing. Just then, the TV behind us turned on and it went through a little segment and a title logo passed by which said "Sangriabison TV"

Apparently on the TV, there was some footage of me and Oikonny in the rooftop of the Yucatan casino with a headline underneath saying "Tragedy of a dedicated gun", in some other words, Oikonny was killed by me.

"So he's the one who killed Alesia Chang..." Fox said with his ears lowering down.

"Look, he isn't alive anymore. I made sure he didn't make it in one piece, there's no way he can come back. Now come on...we have to look for evidence." I said, prompting Fox to leave the room and continue our search for some clues to solve this 2nd Corneria outbreak.

Suddenly before we took off to somewhere else, Fox looked at his watch and said "I think it's time to talk to my source once more. Let's head back to the Shipping Office."

I nodded my head and then followed Fox back to the Shipping Office to talk to his source again, which I certainly hoped it was not Panther. Maybe I should ask what's the source's name when I get the time...

In the Shipping Office where we could talk to Fox's source again, we waited again for a message to pop up on the computer screen...Fox stood by the chair that was near the computer, I was just wandering around. Then I heard some beeping noises from somewhere which came very close to me...it was the beeping of a security camera that was watching us.

"Hold on." I said as I grabbed a nearby small TV to throw it to the security cam to destroy it. The TV exploded once it hit the wall and when it dropped on the floor...the security camera was taken down and someone who was watching us could no longer spy on our recent activity here.

"Sheesh...these guys need to mind their own damn businesses, it's not nice to stare at people." I said.

"I know..." Fox said while cleaning up his lens on his shades before putting them back on. He then added "It seems that Sangriabison is collecting queens from the zombies...with that gas."

"Those zombies are from the 2nd Corneria City outbreak. Do you get it now?" I said in a tone that Fox would say it would be quite upset and misunderstanding. Suddenly, after a while, a computer screen booted on by itself and had a message typing out on the screen. I looked at the monitor and while looking in the eyes at Fox, I said, gesturing with my hands out

"It's for you, Fox."

He did what I said and sat down on the chair, examining the message that was typed on the screen.

Remote Host: The Director's Observatory should have information on the outbreak - what Krystal will need to clear her name. To get access, you'll have to get the key card from one of the labs. But be very careful in there - it's rigged with alarms. Someone will be out of there for a few hours, so you better hurry.

"Hmm...he says the Director's Office should have the evidence to clear your name. Looks like we need to get a key card to get in there, but it's rigged up with alarms." Fox said as he read the message to himself.

All of a sudden, I started to get the feeling that I demanded to know who is Fox's source so I could prove myself wrong that it is not Panther. So I pushed Fox aside by my elbow  and laid my hands on the keyboard.

"What the hell are you doing?" He asked me while I was typing something out on the screen.

Local Host: Who are you?

A few moments after I sent the message, the screen went black all of a sudden and word that said "Connection Discontinued" kept flashing on the screen. Maybe his source didn't want to reveal the name or he was just too stupid.

"Shit!" I shouted and pounded my fist on the desk. Then looking near the door which was the entrance to the Shipping Office, I noticed another security camera was spying on us...looks like this place has so many cameras around, it was like there was no way I could hide something like a agent in one of those action movies.

"Well we better leave now, the keycard is in one of the labs and we only have a few hours left." Fox said, getting up from the chair and running out of the Shipping Office, I quickly tried to run after him as he probably knows where the keycard was and which lab it was in...

"Hey, boss! We've got it! We've got the footage of the fox and vixen at last!" A zombie handler who worked for Sangriabison said in the boss's room.

"...Show me the footage..." The figure said, still staring at one of the monitors in boredom. The zombie handler took control of one of the monitors and pressed a few keys to bring the footage of me and Fox at the Shipping Office again. They both could hear some audio that me and Fox said.

"Hmm...well, I guess the vulpine is named Fox and the vixen...I don't know." The handler said, watching the security footage before it got destroyed by me.

"Fox...I've heard and seen him before..." The figure said, laughing a bit to himself and pausing for a moment to think about me.

"D-d-do you know Fox, boss?" The handler asked.

"Yes I do...and it seems he's helping someone here...someone who doesn't work for Sangriabison." The figure said.

"I promise you, next time I get more footage, we'll get the name of that vixen quick as possible!" The handler said, laughing in nervousness.

"Why not just look her up? I'm sure we can find her profile, containing her birth certificate and some information of her." The figure suggested.

"Well the problem is, boss...we keep getting our internet severs hacked. If it's hacked, we can't do it." The handler said.

"Damn it...well, you get the footage of Fox and that vixen again...and do not disappoint me." The boss said, wanting the zombie handler to leave and get back to work.

"Y-y-y-yes boss!!!" The handler shouted and left the boss's room quick.

"So Fox McCloud...you came back...well, you may have covered wars, but you haven't seen the last of me because I am still here!!!" The boss said to himself and laughed like a evil genius who was wanting to, you guess it, take over the world....of course!

We arrived in the Secure Laboratory, where I thought that is where the queens are being used at but I wasn't sure since this was my first time being here at a facility. In the lab, there was paper scattered all over the floor which I assumed that it would be documents on how to make the drug which I didn't need to see.

"In here, quick!!" Fox said and opened a door that would take us to a hallway to the Director's Office. I went in the hallway and kept going forward to enter the office and find more evidence to clear my name and consider Sangriabison guilty of the outbreak.

In the Director's Office, there was some monitors that the screens were green and were showing people on some sort of test group and some test results...from the looks of it, it wasn't anyone working for Sangriabison.

"Record of Missing Persons Reports...and this is a list of prisoners, Krystal. What the hell? What are you reading?" Fox said after he looked of some reports and saw me reading some sort of Blueprint for something that would be used for the 2nd Corneria City outbreak.

"Blueprints of Corneria City's underground...a harvest projection. I saw it all back in the 2nd Corneria outbreak, they needed queens to make Zom-wow." I said and handed over the blueprints for Fox to look at, he seemed to be quite interested in looking at them.

"But Sangriabison has been telling the Lylat System that drug is synthetic. It was made in a lab, not from queens anymore." He said, finding it hard to believe what I said.

"Well it's a lie, Fox. You get it now? It's still made from queens...from zombies." I said, watching him take out a box of the drug and examining it.

"If you run out of zombies...I guess you just make more...and sometimes you run out of prisoners, or the homeless..or missing people." he said to himself and threw the box near my head, quickly making me avoid it quick. The box went through some lasers and when it came in contact, the announcement said

"Attention all security personnel, breach in the Director's office. All available personnel respond immediately, you are directed to use lethal force."

Fox began to run away into a another hallway, forgetting to pick up his Zom-wow. I picked up the drug myself and kept in one of my coat pockets for him to use later...that is if he ever changed his mind which I doubt it will happen. As I quickly caught up with Fox, there were 2 hazard unit workers carrying a flamethrower of some kind, blocking our path. Seeing one was already preparing his weapon already by shooting out some fire, we both had to take cautions to take both of them down because once that fire gets onto us, it'll be hard to get it off.

"Intruders have been detected, we're now in the process in neutralizing them." One of the hazard unit workers said to a walkie talkie in the suit.

Seeing behind us that a wall slided down to prevent us from escaping, our attack tactics were much limited than before because there is not much weapons around and the room we're fighting in is small.

"Take this." Fox said to me and gave me a electric rod to use to stun the workers. He then picked up a bonesaw that was near his shoes and tried to go after one worker, but as he got close, the worker with his weapon whacked Fox away and slammed him on the wall behind me. He seemed to be OK as he got up.

It was my turn now, so I charged forward and swung the electric rod to a worker and watched it get stunned for a minute.

"Now Fox!!" I shouted as I tried to stun the other worker.

He did what I ordered and quickly with his lethal force swung his weapon on a hazard unit worker and watched it die in front of him. We're not done yet, there is still one more worker to take care of.

The worker quickly sprayed fire out of the weapon and tried to aim it at Fox and than me, we managed to avoid it (Barely!) and with both of our power of weapons, we took down the last worker and saw that they weren't going to get up anytime soon. Turning around to face the wall that closed the entrance to the Director's Office, I pounded my fist on it and said

"Damn! We still need to get out of here."

Just then, one of the walkie talkies that was on a certain worker started to emit static and a voice started to speak inside, the voice said

"Security A923, you're not responding. What's going on up there?"

"I'm not answering that." I whispered to Fox.

Not open for any arguments, Fox picked up the device and answered

"Uh, yeah...well, we had a slight alarm malfunction up here. All is clear, situation normal!"

No response was made from the voice in the device, so Fox putted it down and looked at me with a grin on his face.

I shook my head and said "You need to come up with a better excuse next time."

Before Fox was about to speak to me, we heard a bullet being fired out of a gun that made us jump a little bit, plus giving us the goosebumps on our fur.

The walkie talkie turned back on by itself and the voice responded "Damn zombies...alright, nice work guys." and the device hung up again.

"So let me guess...we go back to see your source again." I asked.

"Well...now that you suggested it, I guess we should give a visit to him then!" Fox responded and left in a hurry.

"Hey, wait up!!" I said, trying catch up to him.

Chapter V

Remote Host: Hello Fox and Krystal

Remote Host: I have your evidence Fox, but I'm trapped in the secure lab in the harvesting room. I need to override the security lock to the main lab doors, but it'll take time. I'll let you know as soon as I make progress.

"So what now, we just sit here and wait?" I asked, groaning in boredom while sitting next to Fox.

"Apparently so...how about a little nap together to pass the time?" He said and chuckled in nervousness.

"That's not funny at all." I said and then asked "Can you go on the internet so we could play some Spiritbusters on the SEN?"

"In a public place like this, there is no way we can surf the web." Fox said.

"Well there's gotta be something to do..." I said...

"I don't believe it...Fox and that vixen took down hazard unit when they tried to escape..." The boss of Sangriabison said, still staring at the monitors in boredom. He heard a knock on the door behind him, wondering who would it be...

"Come in!" He said in a loud tone.

The visitor came in the room, looking like he wanted to show something so badly he could not stop acting like a control freak.

"I got it! I got it! I got the name of vixen!! Let me show you!!" A worker said and quickly rushed to the monitors and typed in some keywords and a password to access their security footage collection. He clicked the recent capture and waited for the audio to play...

"The vixen's name is Kursed, boss! It's Kursed!" The worker freaked out again.

"I get you pal, now settle down and lay off the coffee for a bit OK? I'll give you a promotion soon as Fox and now that I know Kursed are dealt with." The boss said, quite happy to hear the audio of Fox asking me about the Blueprints.

"Thank you very much!!" The worker freaked out once more and left the room like a kid who had 15 pounds of sugar and drank a lot of Fichinasun.

"Well...everything is set. Time to get moving." The boss said and got up off of the chair and walked out of his room to a room that none of us would know where he would be at.

"Where the hell is this guy? It's been 4 hours and no result on progress." I said while I was pushing a pen up and down to hear the clicking sound it made.

Fox didn't respond to me but was insted rather annoyed with what I was doing to kill time. After about 4 more minutes of pen clicking, he got upset and took the pen out of my hand and threw it away...he then breathed hard.

"You know, you're a little high-strung for a guy who has covered wars." I said and watched Fox point his finger to me as if he were to blame me for a mistake.

Before he could open his muzzle and talk to me, some typing sounds were made on the computer and the message on the screen said

Remote Host: I've got the evidence downloaded and I've put it on a memory stick (Or a USB drive if you're so picky about specific names.). But there is a problem, I'm not able to get out of the secure lab to meet you and Krystal. There is a firewall which won't let me open the doors, is there anything you or Krystal could do to help?

"Well you see now? He's got our evidence downloaded, we just need to break in to where he is. But it seems he can't hack the doors. Any suggestion?" Fox asked me while looking at the message.

"We've got to cut the power?" I said.

Fox typed in my suggestion on the screen with the message:

Local Host: We can cut the power?

The message was typing on the screen again:

Remote Host: That's a great idea. I know there are C4 explosives in the security tower and you can get a detonator from the storage bay. But you need to hurry - the guards were just called away. This is our chance! I look forward to seeing you both soon.

"Well, now it's our chance - the guards just took off for something." Fox said...then we heard beeping sounds that were in the room we were still in.

"Uh...Fox?" I tried to get his attention.

"Yes?" He asked.

"I think the bomb is right there." I said and pointed my finger to some dynamite that was tapped on a desk which looked like the boss of Sangriabison would sat at. "Someone probably pushed the detonator when we were off guard!"

"Are you saying..." Fox was about to finish when I grabbed him by the shoulder and said while running out of the Shipping Office

"This place is gonna blow!!"

Running as fast as I could straight ahead, the bomb in the Office was about to explode to pieces when the countdown reached to 0. As we got to a sign that pointed out to "Harvesting Room", I nodded my head and ran to the room before Fox's source would get killed or caught. Fox made sure not to lose sight of me as we both were going to the secure lab that was in the "Harvesting Room"...

"Power has been restored, thank you for your coroperation." A announcement over the loudspeaker said as we entered the room where we both thought that the source would be here to meet us...well, I didn't know what to say at all as I saw a blue vixen dressed in a white labcoat which covered her blue jumpsuit..hold on, is that me?

"Finally...you made it!" The vixen said to Fox and then faced me with a smile.

It took Fox a moment to recognize the blue vixen...then he said in a confusing tone "Krystal? You're...my source?"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa hold a on a second here. You're Krystal?" I asked the vixen.

"Yes." She said.

"The Krystal who stopped the Aparoids?" I asked again.

"Yes." She answered.

"The Krystal...who was in the 1st Corneria outbreak?" I asked once more.

"Yes." She answered.

"All right...last question...the Krystal who married Fox after the 1st Corneria outbreak, had a baby boy named Marcus, joined Horror is Reality, was framed for the 2nd outbreak and...got to meet Alex?" I asked for the last time.

"...Yes." She said and added "But...I'm a clone of you, whoever you are."

"I'm Kursed. I'm Krystal in this new identity." I said and asked "But you aren't joking right? You're a clone...of me...you look like me...you even sound like me!"

"Yes. But Foxie boy here won't be confused which Krystal is real." She said and giggled.

"Whatever." I said.

As Fox examined me as a clone of myself, he noticed the name tag of her name and her years at Sangriabison...it made Fox sort of upset.

"What?! You work for them?!" He shouted and pushed the clone back.

"Fox, I....yes, I work for them! But it's not like you think!" She tried to explain.

"My future is NOT going to be working with these guys...I'm not following what you're doing." I said.

"Listen, please. I was forced to do it...it was that, or I went to jail." She said.

"So wait...besides you, I'm the only person who knows queens are needed for the drug." I asked.

"Yes...well, possibly." She answered.

"So all this time...you knew queens were a key ingredient? You've been helping them?!" Fox asked.

"I've tried to make a synthetic! But they stole my work!" The clone explained.

"That never happened to me..." I said.

"Well, maybe it's because they altered my history!!" She said.

"Whatever you say." I said.

"Anyways, I have been working on a cure, I was so close...but look, I must get out of here and continue my research." She said.

"Now before we get any further, how about we change your name because we may not be saying it now but...just until you escape, at least not give any confusion to me?" I asked.

"Well..." The clone was about to finish when a mysterious male voice said over the loudspeaker

"Oh, Krystal my dear...I'm afraid that will never happen."

Then out of nowhere, some guards armed with rifles ran out of somewhere and came to me, my clone and Fox, pointing their guns at us. We all raised our hands in surrender and watched my clone face me for a bit and then ducked underneath me and Fox's arm to get away. The guards fired their weapons at my clone as I watched her get out of the lab. They then turned to face me and Fox, with still both of our hands up in the air.

"I think she was just using us to escape..." I said to Fox.

"All right, show yourself! Who are you?!" Fox shouted.

"Look up here, Fox and Kursed." The voice over the loudspeaker said followed by a laugh. There was behind a window on near the ceiling a pig who was sitting in his chair and enjoying some pleasure in watching both of us get killed, the pig had some Aparoid marks on his right cheeks.

"Long time no see, Fox." The pig said.

Fox gasped "Pigma!! You again!!"

"Pigma?! I thought we already made him pork chops as a Aparoid..." I said as we were pushed by the guards to go somewhere.

"Well you thought wrong...Kursed. I was able to survive that destruction...and now that I'm here working for my own company, we're gonna have loads of fun!!" Pigma laughed at us.

"You'll pay for this..." Fox said to himself as he was walking ahead, he couldn't stop to take a rest because the guards would simply push him again, again and again.

"Now there's no need to worry, Fox and Kursed...because nobody is leaving from here alive." Pigma said.

"Don't give me that bullshit, you don't care about lives." I said.

"Everything we do here is for the greater good. You all rely on us...nobody would stop us, even if they knew." Pigma laughed again.

As we were about to leave the room, we heard some gunfire and saw some of the guards get killed behind us...it was all done by me as a clone.

"Now that's me." I said, nodding my head and lowering my hands.

Just then, something behind the clone was very big and was about to crush her, Fox shouted

"Krystal!! Behind you!!"

She turned around and saw a very big wolf who was carrying a very large flamethrower, the wolf swung the weapon and the clone began to slide away from the impact of the force...unable to get back up, she tossed the memory stick at us and she said

"Take it...Lylat must know..." She then closed her eyes.

"Bring her to me, I still have use for her." Pigma ordered and then cutted off the loudspeakers. The guard picked up the clone and walked away from us as we looked at the guard...then we heard something crush the memory stick behind us.

Fox turned around and saw the same huge wolf with his boot smashing the device and looking angry too...

"You bastard...you're going to pay for what you did." I said, getting prepped to fight the wolf and get this over with.

Chapter VI

The wolf stared at us with his blank expression, knowing that it was not going to be easy to take him down. He sprayed some fire out of his giant weapon which gave us both a warning that any bad moves we made would get ourselves burned to our death.

Before I could make any sudden moves, Fox said while picking up a shotgun "Come on you stupid prick, come and get me!"

The wolf letted out a furious growl and began to charge right after Fox, gripping tight on the weapon. The wolf swung his weapon on Fox and it missed, the wolf then got a few shots from Fox's shotgun, it was now my turn to plan a attack and aid Fox before he gets hurt.

"Fox, you keep distracting him, I'm gonna lure him to that queen cylinder over there." I said, looking at a cylinder that had a lot of flying queens inside.

After one more shot of Fox's weapon, the wolf with his hands grabbed Fox by the neck and tried to strangle him, Fox tried to escape but the wolf was too strong for Fox to break free. I rushed over to a desk that contained a sharp and shiny butcher knife, picking up the weapon I sneaked slowly near the wolf's back where he couldn't see me.

As Fox kept trying and trying to break free, he was losing some of his breathing and his air in his body, making gag for some air. Just when the wolf thought Fox would be easy and done, I quickly jumped onto it's back and with my knife, I stabbed him and watched him let out a howl of pain and letted go of Fox who was on the floor, breathing fast. The wolf shook his body hard and made me crash into a nearby wall...then I noticed the wolf who now had his attention onto me, ready to ignite some fire onto my fur and clothing. I quickly got up and pointed the knife at him to warn not to mess with me, he still kept walking to me.

Fox got up from the floor slowly and fired more of his shotgun at the wolf, which made him turn around and let out another furious roar at us. Fox chuckled as he walked close to the cylinder with the queens inside and saw the wolf spray some fire out of the weapon. The wolf growled once more and charged right at where Fox is, hoping that the wolf wouldn't miss him this time...within the direct timing, Fox lept out of the way and watched the wolf break the cylinder glass and watched him get killed by the queens. They crawled into his mouth and we both kept hearing some roars of pain that the wolf was letting out...then after a moment, the wolf dropped his weapon and some red-colored gas came out of his mouth.

Turning around to still see Pigma was watching us, Fox said to Pigma

"You know you look like you could use a little Zom-wow every day yourself!" He then added "Why would you do this?"

Pigma paused for a moment to think of a answer, laughing in a evil way, he answered "You can't think I need Zom-wow anymore. I made something to remedy that years ago...with the Krystal clone's very helpful notes..."

"A cure? You've had a cure all this time?!?" I shouted.

"Of course, it wouldn't have been in our interests to release it. Besides, none of you are worthy...not really. It's all greed and apathy that brought zombies into being. The races throughout Lylat deserves the zombie apocalypse, and look at you! You destroyed the very company that brings you the medicine to heal your loved ones." Pigma said and then pushed a button on his chair, then he resumed "There will need to be another harvest now. You reap what you saw..."

Suddenly after Pigma got up and walked away from us, a announcement came over the loudspeaker saying

"Self-destruct sequence initiated."

"We've got to find it! The cure, it's got to be in here somewhere!!" I said.

"We've got to get out of here, Krystal!" Fox said, holding onto my arm.

I shook his hand off of my arm and I shouted "No, we can't leave! I need to find that cure for my son!"

He shouted back at me "It's too late. We gotta go. NOW!!!"

"Fine!!" I shouted back and left the lab to quickly escape the harvesting room and then after a while, the whole Sangriabison facility, Fox made sure not to be left behind.

Back at the cliff we were on before heading inside the facility, we saw Sangriabison explode and saw a lot fire burning down the whole facility. Fox was taking pictures of the facility with his camera and I was sitting next to him, ashamed I didn't find the cure...

"A cure, can you imagine the difference that would have made to the Lylat system?" I asked Fox while watching the sunset. The skies were pink, the clouds were orange...sounds like my kind of a romantic environment.

"That might have been a lie, Krystal." Fox responded while looking at me.

"...I need to believe that there's a cure out there." I said and sighed, getting up off of the grass and dirt.

"Well...at least we have the evidence Pigma and all of Sangriabison were behind the 2nd Corneria City outbreak." Fox said, staring at the burnt facility.

"Nobody is going to take our word for what was going on in that place..." I said. Then I watched Fox starting to panic to himself something

"Uh-oh, my Zom-wow...I-I left it back in the..."

"I have it right here." I said, taking it out of my coat pockets and tossing him the box containing the drug, which made his frown go upside down.

"Take it. The Lylat system needs Fox McCloud." I added and watched him inject the drug into his neck, sighing in relief.

"Yeah well..." He blushed and said "The Lylat system needs Krystal too."

"Yeah...you're right, I think it's about time I get back into the Krystal everyone knows insted of being Kursed." I said, wondering if we should go back to Corneria City...which we thought it was already firebombed.

"So...should we leave?" Fox asked me.

"Yes we should but...let's head back to see if Corneria City is still firebombed or not, my suit may be there...and Alex and Marcus too." I said.

"OK then, I guess our work here is done." Fox said.

Arriving on the rooftop of the Safehouse by helicopter, we both got out and saw pieces of papers that were stuck on a corner of a steel crate. We decided to pick it up and read what it said

"Fox and Krystal,

I will not be escaping the city with both of you, this week because I have been appointed by General Pepper as a CPD officer that both of your son, Marcus McCloud has been abducted by a mysterious group that none of us have heard (No, it isn't Sangriabison.). Alex has been promoted as general manager of the protest group she has started and will not be able to visit one of you unless she gets herself a break from her boss. There hasn't been any word on Slippy or Peppy but I have contacted ROB64 and Bill Gray to come pick you guys up on the rooftop you both are standing on. I wish to give you my regards as I will do my best to rescue your son.

P.S. I can't wait to hear the news on who's really responsible for the 2nd outbreak on TV, be sure to tape it soon on our TV!

P.P.S. Don't be surprised if General Pepper contacts you guys when you leave the city, you are expected to get a call from him soon."

"Our son...he's been kidnapped?!?" I cried.

"But how could this have happened...while we were busy-" Fox was about to finish.

"Look Fox, the silver lining is that he isn't dead and Falco is our only hope. We just have to pray Marcus is still OK as well as Falco." I said, walking to the elevator so I could finally change into my Otomayim Racing outfit and escape from the city, again.

"Wait here, I'm going to change." I said as I waited for the elevator to come and take me down to the Safehouse.

7 MINUTES LATER...

Fox waited patiently for me to come back on the rooftop and wait for the Great Fox or helicopter to pick us up. Hearing a elevator ding, he saw me get out and watched me walked close to him.

"Well, you're no longer Kursed anymore, right?" Fox asked.

"As of now, nope. I'm Krystal." I happily responded and look over the dark sky to see a mothership with the Starfox logo and emblem come down and slowly hover near the edge of the rooftop, we heard a announcement from ROB64

"This is ROB64, get in the ship."

"Well, let's go!" Fox said, getting ready to board the Great Fox...

(Time to switch over to Fox's point of view.)

Whew, what a day. Gonna have to say that being a photojournalist has never been any better at all, I've finally exposed Sangriabision to Lylat, Krystal is finally no longer being framed for the outbreak and...well, I just love my job. The only sad thing is though Pigma probably got away with a Krystal clone and well, my Krystal is upset because we escaped without the cure...which I didn't think would be important because we would get it soon.

In the Great Fox in my room was me and Krystal lying in my bed, with the blankets covering ourselves as we just embraced the moment that we thought we never happen, never to see one of us again, ever since I promised her that I was going to be busy on my duties as a photojournalist and that I told her to watch after my son.

"Well, Fox...it was another mission together at last." She said to me, pulling me to her and giving me a kiss on my lips.

"It won't certainly be the last!" I said and smiled at her, then I blushed and said "Well...uh...umm..."

She giggled at me, gave me a bare hug and said "Oh Fox...I always liked you when you're nervous."

"Oh stop that!" I laughed in nervous and my face turned red as a fresh ripe of tomatoes in the morning, then I stared at her face...her eyes, her sea-green eyes reflected right into my sight as the light from the ceiling reflected her along with her face, her fur began to glow into a fade blue tone as if she had a spirit to release to Krazoa Palace. Her ears kept twitching as she stared at me for some time...then, my communicator rang and then turned on by itself, showing some footage on a wall as if it was a projector of a hound who was sitting calmly in his desk, dressed mainly in red and wanted to say something to us.

"Hello Fox I-" The hound who was General Pepper said, paused to see that we were having a good time together, alone in my room. He then stammered at us

"Oh...I...I hope I'm not interrupting anything."

"Uhh..." I look at Krystal's eyes once more before looking at Pepper, then I said "Not at all. I guess you could say it was just a wake-up call."

As Krystal tried to cover her body up to her neck with the blankets, Pepper said "Very well...I'm very eager to say that both of you have managed to pull another impressive job, exposing Pigma's company to all of Lylat. I have to say...though I may have seen better like the Lylat wars and the Aparoid Invasion....this was probably the best action I have seen in my life."

"Thank you, sir...but, although we had a few conflicts on the way between me and Krystal...it wasn't easy as we both thought." I said.

"Yeah, and all thanks to Fox, I'm no longer blamed for this silly outbreak." Krystal added, looking at Pepper.

"Hey uh, did you happen to receive any word from Falco today? We...just happened to pick up his note, saying you appointed him as a CPD officer and...finding our son." I asked.

"Well, he told me your son was kidnapped, I trusted him into getting Marcus back and...well, he took off with his instructors." Pepper answered. He then added "Oh and by the way, more of your fees are being transferred as we talk. I wish both of you to have a happy time together and hope your son comes back, goodbye." The communicator then turned off.

"Now...where were we?" Krystal asked, sticking her finger on my chest.

"Err...I don't remember." I said.

"Well then let me help fresh your memory." She said in a seductive tone and dimmed the lights with a wireless remote control so nobody could see us...

The true suspects of the 2nd Corneria outbreak have finally been revealed by Fox and Krystal, it was not Leon...but insted, Andrew Oikonny and Pigma Dengar, each who worked for Sangriabison.

Following the news that Fox and Krystal's son has been captured by a mysterious group that nobody knows and with Falco on the way to save him, the media exposed Sangriabison to the whole Lylat system, proving the guilt of them and then the innocence of Krystal who was framed.

Nobody knows for sure what will happen with Pigma who has gotten away with the cure but one thing was certain, he would never come to Corneria City again.
