I Think I'll just be honest... After hanging around them in the Fandom and in this site for a cetain amount of time, I'm probably option number 3...

There are much sexier pictures of Krystal (or other anthro females) out there to use with that demotivation poster.  Might I instead suggest something like this?

Regardless of the screename, (wich I came up on Star Fox forums before I knew what a "furry" was.)

I've never really been very active in the "furry fandom" honestly. I'm not very fond of the term "furry" personally, but I do enjoy drawing anthropomorphic characters, because I always enjoyed cartoons/games with such characters, I admit. Still, I don't really like to associate myself with the term, especially considering there's lots of negativity surrounding it on the internet lately.

I don't consider myself one, but I don't care if people wish to label me as such personally. I'm kinda neutral on the whole "furry fandom" thing.

Actually what got me interested in the whole furry business was Krystal. That and an old friend who always seemed to be high regardless of his dopamine levels.

I discovered furries cause of Starfox, but I never really fit into the furry fandom as a whole. The fandom tends to be full of drama and I generally don't get along with the vast majority of them due to most of them being bi/gay (at least where I've been). Now I have no problem with furs or bisexual/gay people it's just the majority are too sensitive about stuff which my abrasive personality and mannerisms tend to offend them easily.

I agree with this, and trust me - it gets even worse when you attend a large convention for 3-4 days. >_>  I quite literally felt like I was one of the only "normal" people there due to the way I dressed (similar to my SFO display pic), use of proper hygiene, and the fact that I could actually strike up and maintain an intelligent conversation...many furries there seemed to have week social communication skills.  I tried one evening to try and flirt with some females but I gave up almost immediately when I entered the hotel bar because of the sheer amount of non-straight pairings and the like >_<

Wow, what an amazin' topic. X3

But no, no. I find myself just to be a Starfox fan. Sure, I like Sonic the Hedgehog, and more animal-esque series.

Animals are cute. :0 And epic video games or stories with them are awesome! X3

But the whole "furry" thing ... ehh .. I think that's just pushing it a bit far. I'm not remotely interested. Though I can tolerate it and all. Eh, not my kinda thing. No no. X:

I was a furry before I knew what StarFox was, but that's because Looney Tunes got me into it instead. StarFox, actually, wasn't even a furry interest of mine, though, until Adventures for reasons stated by other users. It was just a fun couple of games that happened to feature anthropomorphic critters.

Uuuh... a bit of both? *bricked*

I don't really know what to say! I'm a bit of a furry but not in the way of getting attracted by it or anything. I'm just a simple fan of furry related characters and franchises, nothing more :D I love animals very much, but that's all! I'm just a StarFox/Sonic/Ratchet & Clank (etc etc...) fan here :3

Both. I sorta AM a furry, but liking StarFox because it's got furry characters is all sorts of dumb.

I guess this applies to me as well and I totally blame Sissi for this because she used to draw a lot of furry art before  :P

I don't know, I go to Furry Bowling slmost every month, I get along with most of them there, most of the ones there seem fairly normal, talk about cars, music, and furry stuff, like I do with most people (minus the furry stuff)

That's a Fur Meet, not a Furry convention, there is a significant difference as cons are much more "hardcore".

does hanging out with furries count because there are very few of my friends are furry.

No, hanging out with other people with certain interests does not by itself make you one of those same people. :)

I never been to a furry convention, my IRL friend wants me to go as he's a furry himself. I'd make sure I'd go with a mask on cause last thing I want is people thinking I'm a fur and my folks finding out about it.  I can't stand the vast majority of them though. Some are OK, and I am friendly and get along with them. Not sure if you'd consider me a fur; I am pretty much happy as a human I just happen to find female anthros really cute, but it was more obvious when I was younger. Nowadays I don't obsess on it or dedicate myself to it like I used to >_>
