I don't play RE but for my own reference can someone give me some background on the person she's fighting?  It's also cool that they substituted in her voice I think.

Beats me... Though I wish I could find those sounds, they aren't downloadable on Sf-o's main site And I kinda needed them for a mod that Replaces the Hurtsounds of Hl2 Deathmatch player models.  :|

I can't believe neither of the first 2 posters in this thread has never played RE4.

It's Jack Krauser, a sort of throw-away villain with vague connections to the protagonist that are never explored or elaborated on. He's pretty much only there so we can have a boss fight with something that isn't a monster.

Yeah it is Krauser, but I really thought I saw that screenshot somewhere else other than the KA....

Have you played Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles?

leon and krauser both worked for GENERIC GOVERNMENT AGENCY! (GGA) They went on such missions as, CROSSING THE STREET! and WALKING THE DOG! and SOLVE THIS PUZZLE Until Krauser faked his death to go and work for albert wesker, the sexiest man alive THE sexiest man alive. Then leon beat the living munchkins out of him. He is also the toughest boss in the game, able to survive TWO rocket launche blasts before diing. The final boss only needs one.

Actually, I haven't.

Most of Krauser's backstory with Leon will be elaborated in that game, I know it doesn't really say why Krauser hates Leon (Or Krystal in this case. :troll: ) in RE4 but you'll be able to find out in Darkside Chronicles.

Trust me, it's WAY better than Umbrella Chronicles.

I rather liked Umbrella Chronicles, so I've been wanting to give Darkside a shot for quite some time.

Yep, Jack Krauser. Used to be Leon's partner, faked his death to work against him for Wesker. He also had a bit of a rivalry with Leon, especially about who was better with a blade, if I remember (Been a while since I played RE4), which is why most of their fights culminate in a knife fight. Krauser seems to be based a bit off of Rambo, as his weapons of choice are a long bow and a knife. And while he isn't monstrous looking, he is still inhuman due to Las Plagas, as his right arm can turn into a rather wicked, organic blade, and can feather out to make a nearly full-body shield that is impervious to bullets.

Personally, he's my favourite character to play in the Mercenaries game mode, followed by Wesker, then HUNK, then Ada, and lastly Leon.
