Gunpla (Gundam Plastic model kits) Builders Beginning G

Gunpla Builders Beginning G is a recent Gundam OVA (Original Video Animation) series that runs around 10-15 minutes. This series celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Gunpla series; model kits that depict the mechas, vehicles, and characters of the Mobile Suit Gundam universe.

The plot is about a boy named Haru Irei who, after seeing the 1/1 scale RX-78-2 at Shizuoka Park, decided to build Gundam models. His first ever model happens to be the HG 1/144 GPB-X80 Beginning Gundam which comes from no particular series. Although it may seem like a calm series, there are actual fighting segments, NOT in real life but in an arcade game. The arcade allows someone to use their own models via putting it inside a scanner. It's somewhat hard to explain but you'll have to check the episodes out to see what I mean.

I know this forum isn't all that crazy about either Gundam nor it's model kits but I just wanted to see who's interested.
