StarFoxFigure
Okay, I admit I'm FINATICAL about Star Fox. I have all the games, but I feel one thing is missing- FIGURES! Does anyone know why there are no lines of Star Fox figures? If not, are there any theories? I just posted a question at the Nntendo site adressing this, and I'd like to know if there is any way I can voice my proposol to introduce Star Fox figures to the Nintendo merchandise. :fox:
CrypticQuery
It's quite simple as to why there is a lack of StarFox related merchandise; Nintendo will most likely NOT be able to make boatloads of money off of it like with Mario, Zelda, etc. There are some examples, such as limited plush toys, and those canceled Adventures figurines, but that's about it.Oh, and to the forums :D
The Shaper
I don't play with toys anymore. And most child star fox fans are limited because of the lack of new games as well as it's not as popular as most of the other franchises in Nintendo's empire, so they would be liabilities. Miyu
I remember that Starfox Adventure figure... It was made by some company that made video game action figures.. I forget the name.. =3= I bought a Luigi's Mansion toy from it though...Anywho.. I don't know about the rest of the world. But I'd buy them. >___>; It'd be cool if they could like, fit into Arwings and Landmasters too. Like my old G.I. Joe figures. xD... It'd probably have to be small though, if they plan to make a great fox to fit the arwings into.. Or maybe make one line of 8 inch figures and another line just be those tiny collectibles.. like they did with TMNT. So many possibilities, forever unexplored.. Great job Nintendo, great job. ): -scowl-

JLCL00
Oh shi--something that actually interest me!I would only buy a Star Fox action figure if they are well-articulated and the sculpting isn't mediocre (or "half-assed" as some would say). One of the examples of what I mean can be found in either the Figma or the Revoltech series. However, the best choice maybe Figma since the joints are not as obvious, or round, as Revoltech's. Please don't take my word for it, however, since I am not an expert on figures overall. Here are some examples found in the Figma line (If anyone would like what the Revoltech line has, please ask me and I'll show you):Duke Togo from Golgo 13: Asuka Langley Soryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion:[img width=189 height=252]http://taket0mb0.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/asuka1.png?w=375&h=500Michael Jackson:[img width=154 height=234]http://anime.collectiondx.com/files/FIGMA_MICHAEL_JACKSON_THRILLER2_15CM_APRIL2011_MAXFACTORY_2400.jpgLum from Urasei Yatsura:[img width=251 height=206]Haruhi Suzumiya:[img width=203 height=290]King Kazuma from Summer Wars:[img width=241 height=172]The last figure is a perfect example for this topic since this is about possible figures of anthropomorphic characters. Beau Skunk
Considering I've seen collectable figurines & action figures of other game series, (especially made by Jazwares) I would actually like to see them make ones based off of Star Fox, or the Star Fox vehicles, at least. I doubt the series is popular enough to maintain an entire action figure line, but a few collectable figures would be nice to see, and help promote the series.I do hear that Bandai made F-Zero toy cars in Japan, (based off the short-lived licensed anime series) and F-Zero (while a great racing series) is probably even less popular, and well-known then Star Fox. So you never know what the future may bring.

LoneWolf
I'd pay top dollar for a Krystal figure! I wouldn't. I would pay top dollar for a die-cast model Arwing, though. One of the ones you actually have to build.
