Sabre
I'm autistic, and as a result was invited to an autistic group on steam. Nothing special there. What was weird was the fact that the description was a horribly written ...something.Trying to find other hounourable Autistic people- people who havent given up hope for love even as small as the possability seems. lookn 4 intelligent girls- mainly ime looking for people who have hi-functioning autisum, and have cept their sanity and hounour and learnt throught exsperence, not having evrything laid on a plate for them. ime not intrested in the week. strenth comes from pain and sufering. having none makes u week and usless, bsides what can u learn from some one who has sufferd nothing. i believe in pure logic. and the fight to acheve inner balence and peace. and to bring hounour back to my kind, we are not below humans. we are above or equal... ... ...discuss? I'm lost for words here.
Samantha Weltzin
Reminds me of the large Asperger's community on the Internet, which is the target of much ED ridicule and the like. The guy might be a part of that.I think he's equating autism with strength because he never got any love due to his condition. That seems to be what he's saying, anyway. It's kinda hard to tell with the awful spelling.
ballisticwaffles
Apparently to this guy if you dont suffer you are week and usless. Pure logic? How do you measure the quality of logic? Ounces? decibles? Even with the spelling corrected, the entire thing makes no sense. He equates Suffering with intellegence and wisdom, which is true in soem cases, but not even prevolently, to my knowlege.
Xortberg
Yeah, that guy's full of shit. Pain and suffering can lead to strength, sure, but so can easy living, in its own way. It's basically people like him who give autism a bad rep.
DoctorAllosaurus
That first line sounds like something that one guy who made those weird Sonichu comics would say, especially the looking for girls part.
Thu'um
I think this guy is saying that his pain or experince in things has made more logical then most, and that he wouldn't want to be with some one who hasn't gone through pain or experince

So I understand where he.....or she is coming from.Still, I'm not gonna deny he/she sounds a little bent outta shape.
Steve
Going by that extend, if I were to cut my arms off, I would suffer a lot of pain, but in fact, I will be extremely weak.In all seriousness tho, pain and bad moments, while they add experience to your human, they can also lead you to some wicked and disoriented ideals which will end up making you weaker than before. And like Steve said, it depends on a lot of things. Someone who's had nothing but pain and suffering might end up broken and defeated, which is most certainly not strength. They might gain strength, but be 'evil.' And someone who's had an easy life might be a spoiled brat, but they could also have a strength all their own. Asper Sarnoff
Someones seemingly misunderstood the meaning behind "What doesn't kill me, only makes me stronger". Yeah, having to go trough tough shit may either strengthen your resolve if it's allready strong, or break it down if it can't handle the pressure. It doesn't however means that if one have grown trough pain and suffering, that you're in any way psychically stronger than someone who has not.
