Deploy
Why is your art so awesome!? ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)
Patch93
You did a pretty good job with Miyu's expressions, though the first two look kinda weird, the other two are awesome though. I don't know why but she looks alot like Fara for some reason, especially the third one with her ears being held back. (Which, in a way kinda makes sense since Fara might have been an early prototype of Miyu and Fay, at least according to Star Fox 2's development stages, but don't quote me on that.) myu
I don't really know what you mean when you say the first two look weird. They look normal to me, but maybe I've been looking at them for too long. Miyu probably looks a but like Fara (at least the way I draw her) because they're ears are almost the same and they have similar face shapes. Miyu's is a bit fluffier though. Miyu's muzzle/snout/whatever is also shorter and broader.
myu
Guh, done. Now, time for a commission break. EDIT: Here, have a Miyu portrait. I usually only color this way when I'm doing realism stuff, but Black Berry's picture of Miyu inspired me to try it. I also took some cues from her on how to draw Miyu's ears. CrypticQuery
These are definitely some of the best things I've seen, Myu; I really love the time taken on the sand, fire, and dust in the first picture, not to mention the great fur-pattern in the second. :P
myu
Thanks, although there's no sand in the first picture, just smoke. But I can see how the color and smoothness of it would make it look like sand. I haven't slept yet so I finished Miyu. It might be interesting to try coloring a full picture this way..
Ala1n-J
Nice work Myu!! These are great! Just some things though : The fur shades and render are well done, now maybe you could try to give a different render on the eyes. The colours may bring them out for the viewer, but I think they're a bit too rough-looking here. Just an advice, it's a great job nonetheless. Another good illustration. But the perspective bothers me : the street's direction in depth is not the same on the left and the right, so it looks like the street is "zigzag-ing" a bit. Also, where is the pink bird's left hand? I can see the left arm going behind the flamethrower, but then nothing. I wonder where it is and what it's supposed to do. The thrower has a great design (Mind if I inspire myself from this for the project SFR game please? We need a plasma thrower.), But the flame could get some pop : give it some bright color (maybe not white, but bright red and orange with light yellow...), something that will make the flame detached from the fire behind. Voilà , I think that's all. They're all great, and I know you spent time on them. Just thought I could make constructive critism.

Some of the detail with them was lost when I did her lashes. I didn't want to spend too much time on that picture though since I wanted it to be kind of rough, but I'll keep that in mind the next time I try it :> The commission - I was trying something a bit new with perspective there. Kind of like a fisheye, but I guess not quite. I told the commissioner that I was going to try it out and that it might look slightly off in some places, but she was alright with it. I learned quite a bit from it though and the zigzag that's going on won't happen next time. As for her hand, I had the idea that it's holding the gun on the other side, like there's a handle there so she can aim/support the gun without getting to close to the front. I did think about making the fire more vibrant, but I didn't want it to get out of hand and become the focus - maybe it wouldn't, I'll have to find out lol Thank you for the critique Not many people give them these days, so when one happens it's always nice that someone took the time to do it. You bring up a lot of valid points :3 Also, YES. I would be flattered if you used the gun to help with your project.

Ala1n-J
This time on "Fred and myu draw stuff" I like the story this picture conveys : it's like Fox and Falco, returning from Venom after defeating Andross, meet Fara and tell her all the epic battles and stuff they've gone through. I can almost hear Fox saying "And then I somersault'd and he was like "What the Heck?!" I pinned that bozo down like a piece o' cake!" with Falco and Fara laughing with him. Keep having fun Fred and you!

DoctorAllosaurus
Looks like zombies ate Miyu's neighbors. I like that bony whatever appendage that is (arm?) on the right side. I envy people who can draw good skeletons.
