Star Fox Runner
I think the infamous Sonic Cycle might finally be broken with this game, as I honestly can't find anything majorly wrong with this one. The music is fun and catchy, and the levels are well thought out and vibrantly colored. The new Wisp powers are actually very fun to use, and don't seem gimmicky like the other Sonic games. I'm currently on Terminal Velocity, and it is HARD, not because the game is broken, it's legitimately hard.

Looks good though, quite an improvement than in other titles. It looks like Sega finally gets it; to do away with the gimmicks and stick to gameplay. It's also quite sad that the Sonic 2 Fan Remix looks, plays, & stays truer to the originals MILES better than Sonic 4. Beau Skunk
A critic at Kotaku gave it a pretty low 4.5 score, (that website pretty much hates anything Sonic-related, and even admitted to being biased against Sonic, so I don't take them seriously personally) but there's a pretty funny story accompanying that.Nice to see Sega has a sense of humor.Haven't played "Sonic Colors" yet, but it looks better then "Sonic & the Secret Rings," (wich I hated) so maybe I'll give it a shot. I like how it has GameCube controller support, (wich not many Wii games have) so I get to save on the energy in my Wii-mote's batteries. It's also quite sad that the Sonic 2 Fan Remix looks, plays, & stays truer to the originals MILES better than Sonic 4.I disagree, I've seen it before, and the fan-game has just way to many background animations, and details for it to look like a "legit" Sonic game to me. The fact it's a remake, also makes it a li'l unfair to compare it to Sonic 4, wich is suppost to be a brand new game, with simularities to the old ones. (Hey, the badniks are back, I'm happy personally.)I'll stick with Sonic 4 personally. Only thing wrong with that game is, it's a bit overpriced, (15 bucks, most WiiWare games are 10) considering how short it is. (Then again, you had to pay 40 bucks for the original Sonic games back in the 90s, and they were kinda short to.)
Falconman
isnt it true that sonic colors is the 1st sonic game with power-ups?
Beau Skunk
Not really, if you consider the temporary invinsibilty moniters, speed shoes, and chaos emeralds from the old games.

Beau Skunk
They do if you collect all of them, then you get to turn into Super Sonic at will.
Falconman
no power-ups is something u DONT need to beat the final boss whitch u have to get all 7 to beat the final boss
Beau Skunk
You never played the original Sonic the Hedgehog 2 or 3, have you? In those when you collect the chaos emeralds (from hidden bonus stages) you get to become Super Sonic within the earlier levels, not just the final boss battle. Beau Skunk
A li'l awesome spoiler here that old-school Sonic fans & purists will love about "Sonic Colors."Once you get all of the chaos emeralds, you can play through any of the levels as "Super Sonic" once you get enough rings, (and not just have that form limited to the final boss) just like the old Sonic games by collecting 50 or more rings. This feature is also in "Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1."
Shinigami
Yep; this game is awesome. played it at my cousin's--it was hard to get off. I'm glad they're returning Sonic to a retro, yet familiar gameplay style with some newer elements thrown in. this game? don't see anything to frown on. xP
