Asper Sarnoff
The lights in the conference room was dimmed, leaving only a couple of spotlights focusing on a elevated platform with a rostrum standing on top of it. The only sound one could hear was the steady tapping of shoes over the floor as a figure walked up on the scene. Pepper, previously supreme commander of the CDF and now Secretary of Defense, took a heavy breath as he surveyed the hall. Only the vague outlines could be seen of the people sitting in the room, following him with sharp eyes. He didn't need to see them to know who they were though. He had gone over their files several times allready, and probably knew more about them than they did themself. The old hound took a step foreward and grabbed hold of the rostrum with both hands, waiting a couple of seconds before he opened his mouth and started speaking. "Ladies, gentlemen. I, the Secretary of Defense, have invited you here to be informed about the grave incident that have struck the Lylat system, and offer you a most generous proposition, as you are all among the best bounty hunters in the galaxy, I have a job that will net one of you the highest bounty ever set in in Lylat history. If you succeed that is.I also want to stress that this information has been classified above Top secret, and that spreading the information you now will be given, will get you charged for high treason against the Lylat union, of which you all are citizens of."Pepper paused for a moment to let this sink in. He could see movement in the darkness as some of the people listening ached themself further foreward, seemingly interested. Pepper kept them waiting for a couple of more seconds before he continued."The mercenary team known as Starfox, are missing in action. And you, will help us get them back to safety."In a split second, the room erupted into a raging storm of loud mumbling. Pepper lifted his hands up, signaling for silence, but it took almost a minuted before the room once again had its attention on him. He coughed loudly into the corner of his elbow before he started again. "Seeing as you all have different styles of working, we're going to make room for that in the investigation process. You will however for the most part be working together as a team. You can draw on the CIA's (Cornerian Intelligence Agency, duh!) extensive resources, expertise and knowledge, but you will also share your findings with us. It's crucial that all the pieces of the puzzle are in our hands if we are to solve this situation. You will later meet the leader of the investigation, who will fill you in on the smaller details. In the meantime, I'll be answering your questions to the best of my abilities."(That's the start of it folks! Now is the time to properly introduce your character.) Fira-Astrali
A young feline watched the scene with interest. She was standing inconspicuously in the corner, dressed in black and heavily hooded to hide her very unique features. She was looking at all teh faces eager to join in on this quest for the bounty. She had a much different reason for joining, for promising herself that she would sneak into this party if she had to.for Feila Lombardi, it wasn't about the glory. Tiberius
A suited figure, mainly a black and red suit with the names "Red Squad" and 427 on his name tapes looked around. He was associated with the CDF Black Operations but not a member. He left any weapons but his side arm at the security check point. He scanned the room and looked around. He never talked. never uttered a word, never made a sound other than what his suit was making. No one could see his face because of his combat helmet. He kept his real identity sacred. His call sign was Unit 427 or "Red Dot." He opened a gadget up from a leg compartment and started hacking into the CIA mainframe without a trace, and extrapolated all of the files he needed to conduct his own investigation. What for? Nothing. Just doing a job, and taking money as it's offered. He nearly made a sound at the mention of working as a team. Sure, he's worked with others, but his primary way of work was him killing stuff. He simply shook his head. Once this "team" of theirs got to the zone and off the transport, he'd just go. "Team my ass." he mentioned while the VOX on his suit was offline.
Geo Stelar
A fox on a blue-and-black jacket, with a red t-shirt and wearing military-class pants, is leaning beside a wall, about 10 feet away from Pepper. He looked up at Pepper, almost lost for words. He didn't know whether he was ready for something like this, nor does he know what lies ahead. All he knew is that signing up for this was worth it, because he has been a fan of SF, and now they are in unknown predicaments, he will be there to find and save them. Working as a team made Steve a bit more nervous. He is more accustomed to working with his own team, the Star Acers. But they are on the vacation now, doing their own thing, and don't want to be disturbed. Steve hoped that he would fit in with these strangers, especially in teams. He put his mask on as one of the officers looked around, afraid that he might recognize Steve, who was blamed for an accident at the CAF almost a year ago. This is an important mission, Steve thought, and he doesn't want anyone turning him in for an 11-month old accident. He remained silent, still looking at Pepper, excitement throughout his face. (This is almost all as I can do for introduction. Tell me if it's not enough ok? )
Guest Mr. Mario
A yellow-fur twin-tailed fox who was mostly dressed up in some casual clothing consisting of a green jumpsuit and jacket with the number 64 on the back was sitting on a chair, quite surprised to hear that the legendary Starfox team has been reported missing by General Pepper. The fox's name was Butch, just Butch. He wondered what mission the Starfox crew went on and where they would be, but he thought questioning about their unknown wherabouts wouldn't do anything to help solve the case faster, so he remained silent and made no speech or any noise to anybody at all. Asper Sarnoff
Pepper blinked confused for a moment at the odd question from the man in the suit. "Get there? Do you mean to the centre of this whole operation. If that's so, you'll get taken there in 15 Mike from now. I hoped that answered your question." He said, ending with a warm, but tired smile. A hand was casually raised in the back row of the seats, the ringfinger and middle finger connected with a black leather strap. Pepper gestured for the person to speak up.The tall, lanky figure rose up onto its feet, dressed entirely in black, old-fashioned and well worn clothes. As he removed a large hat from his head, his face which till now had been hidden in shadow appeared. He was some kind of lupine, in his late thirties or early fourties. Every line in his face looked like it had been hewn out crudely by a carpenter who had never seen how a real face looked. His fur was gray, broken up in spots by lighter, some almost brown, hues, and several stripes of dead, white hair running down his right temple. The deep laying eyes were completely gray, cold as ice. His voice only added to the image of cold, ruthless killer, sounding like sandpaper brushing against steel. "I have only one question... sir." He said, with a spitefull undertone to the last remark. "What will the bounty be for the safe return of all of Starfox'es members?"The smile had set in Peppers face, but all warmth and kindness had disappeared from it. He let out a loud cough again, eyeing all the people in the room before answering. "One billion Cornerian credits. 5 times the prize paid to Starfox after the Lylat Wars." A horrid grin, vaguely passing for a cold smile, flickered over the lupines lips, while the mumbling among the other bounty hunters intensified."However!" Interupted Pepper. "We will be detracting from the final sum if any collateral damage is caused during the investigation. You'd do well to keep that in mind, Mr. Kane..." The last was added with an angry look at the lupine, which still smiled in reply."Now." Pepper continued. "Any more questions?"

Asper Sarnoff
The secretary of defense was obviously glad he could tear his attention away from the black-clad bounty hunter, and answer another question."We have an armoured car waiting outside. As the secrecy of this operation is critical, none outside the agency, even you yourself, will know the location of the operation centre. A security meassure we found necesary." But it does require that one stay on it at all. Which means playing on team with the other players, and not trying to jump ahead alone.)

Guest Mr. Mario
"Well, whenever everybody's ready to start, let's get this show going!" Butch said, finally saying a word after a moment of silence. Although he seemed to be quite excited to be working to search for the missing team, he felt like someone had to be responsible for this, maybe they tricked Starfox into some treasure around the Lylat system, who knows? Fira-Astrali
Feila noticed a group already forming and preparing to head out. She slipped off of her perch and walked over, trying to be inconspicous about it. she shifted slightly, feeling the heavy weight of the projectile pistol that was in a harnass on her chest, hidden beneath the heavy leather jacket that she wore. She glanced up at the dark figure who had been talking, sure she had seen him before. No matter, her first order of business was to keep with this group, they looked promising

Geo Stelar
Steve prepared himself in case they will go soon. He got his bag with his things in it. He also has his MPW weapon, and, due to the importance of this mission, Steve also brought his first-aid kit, and his small camping kit. He also brought along with him his Callux caller, in case he needed to summon his ship in emergency cases. He had forgotten his penkknife, but he won't have time to go back home for it. He checked all of these to ensure they are in order as he was listening to Pepper and the questioners. He wasn't at all bothered with the extended security measures. This is, after all, about Star Fox, so it ought to be top-classified. He doesn't bother either even if they won't get money for saving SF. Besides, Steve thought, if thy really want to help star fox, they won't expect anything in return.

Blaze the Sage
Blaze Toranis nodded, and followed with the rest of the pack, listening silently until now. The cheetah was clad in a dark grey flight suit, covered by a black trenchcoat, with shades resting on his forehead. He'd been flying as a solo mercenary for a number of years now. "I'm inclined to agree. I found myself in a similar situation a bit before Star Fox's temporary split before the Anglar Blitz. Work had been slow, I took a job that was convenient, and got betrayed. Knowing Star Fox, that's probably about the only thing that could catch them off guard." He pondered for a moment, before adding. "Shall we introduce ourselves? If we're gonna work together, we may as well have names to attach to the various faces and voices."
