The black vulpine sat in the large fitted chair in the room his lodging laid. He rested the side of his muzzle along his right hand as he sighed, staring out the large faced window as the rain sounded, smacking against the scaled house with force. The vulpine didn't care, nor did he seem to have much hope or inspiration to get up anymore. Another, vulpine you could say to a degree as he was a hybrid, walked in, a mask of black and elegant design covering the left side of his face along with a matching glove covering his left hand. The hybrid stood there, as if he was just watching when all of a sudden the black furred vulpine sighed, and looked to a container in his hand; a tear going down his face.

"Lloyd, I think I am gonna give up on this idea..." The black furred vulpine spoke, holding the object in the container close to him as he sulked.

"Sir, here, I will make sure the things get done. Please, there is still hope." The hybrid in his wonderfully put together tux attire responded.

"The time is out, and I am to be killed.... There isn't anymore we can do to help." He spoke, looking at the hybrid with his cold eyes that seemed to pierce his soul. The hybrid stayed calm through this all.

"Nonsense. You have myself, and Claude with you that-"

"They have much more than just two skilled people!" The black furred vulpine interupted with a bark.

"...I will gather the guests then...." And with the last response, skeletal hands burst from the ground and took hold of the hybrid, and dragged him into the ground, as the floor to the large room was instantly melded back to normal.

"Excellent."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The hero's slumber in a long room, each in their own bed. Whatever gear they might have had on other than simple clothes were no longer on them. There was a window that showed the shining outside light, as well as the fact they were on a very high floor. The fall would easily kill anyone of their nature.
The hero's each had the same dream; A hybrid coming and telling them they were needed for some reason.
The door leading out of the room was locked, and held a note on the inside of the door, saying nicely on the front, "Dear Guests~".
Nothing more was in the room. No chests, no containers. Just the beds, and the hero's residing them.
This is where the story begins anew.
(aw yeah totally grabbin the first post :D )
Warmth radiated through the window from the light, onto a large bed which two humans lay sleeping. They were a man and a woman, the man being of about 6 feet or so in height and rather muscular in build, with ocean blue eyes and hair blonde like cornsilk, and the woman being of average height with a curvaceous but also plump figure, her skin a lovely shade of brown, and her hair even darker, like chocolate. The light barely phased the man, but the lady stirred and soon enough sat up. She looked about the room in confusion, not sure where she was at or how she had arrived. Slipping out of bed, she heads to the door and sees the note attached. Removing it, she read it quietly to herself, "... Dear guests..."
(Yay~ It's started :D )
Lenka squinted her eyes shut at the light and wrapped her arms tighter around her pillow. She didn't remember ever having slept quite so soundly before. But she froze when she heard the sounds of light footsteps moving across the floor, and then her eye shot open when she heard a whisper. In one fluid movement, she snapped into an upright position on the bed, holding her right arm straight out, fingers curled like they were holding a gun.  It took her a few seconds before she realized that she was holding nothing between her fingers but air. Lenka clenched her fist and released it, she looked at the palm of her hand and then quickly flung her pillow off the bed. Nothing. She usually kept a blaster under her pillow in the event that she might need one in a hurry, and she was sure that she had put one there before falling asleep.
Quiet and tense, Lenka pulled the covers around her and shifted her eyes about the room. There were several beds, all occupied by people all of whom - except for the girl at the door - were asleep and, as far as she could tell, unarmed. This observation relaxed her a little. At least things were somewhat evened out now that no one had anything to defend themselves with. Tired of sitting there, watching the girl like a strange mole-person, Lenka cleared her throat.
Michael was sleeping soundly until he felt something hit his face. "Wha... whodizat" he said sleepily as he started to sit up. He looked around and saw that he was in a room with many other people, two of which were already awake. "Morning" he said rather nervously.
(Going on the assumption that OWA is gone for good...)
A Doberman in another bed starts to stir. He gets up and shakes his head. He wonders for a bit about where he is then realizes his pockets seem empty. He searches himself before realizing that there were others in the room. He takes his fedora off one of the bed's posts and puts it on his head. Scoping out the room he sees that  two humans and a rat or rabbit of sort were awake. One of them seemed to reading a note. The other one seemed nervous. "Mornin'" he says to the male (Michael) . "Name's Raymond Marlowe. Who are you?"
The woman turned around upon hearing other voices in the room, looking first at Lenka. She put the note down for now, having not finished reading it. She had not realized there were others in the room with her, and unsure what to say, she merely said, "Hello..." in a polite voice.
As for the man, he still slept in his bed. He's probably a heavy sleeper... or was just tired.
A nondescript hyena lady heard the voices as she stirred, but wrote them off as the result of a half-dream. She turned in her bed and groaned, covering her head with the pillow. It still -felt- too early to wake up.
The voices, however, didn't stop, and a quick opening of her eyes revealed that the bed she was in was much nicer than her own. She rolled over and sat up, noticing the four sources of the voices as well as several others sleeping in the room. At first, she didn't know what to think. Maybe she had achieved that lucid dreaming thing she'd heard about and always wanted to try, as there was no other explanation. She simply sat upright in her bed, not saying anything and just trying to figure things out.
Michael looked over at Raymond and said "I'm Michael Mushou. Nice to meet ya Raymond". Michael felt relieved that somebody finally broke the silence, if there's one thing he hates more than anything its silence.
After hearing the strange woman speak, Michael acknowledged her greeting with a friendly nod.
"What is that you have?" Raymond asked the woman with the note. "Moreover, what is your name? I don't believe I've ever met anyone here before." He added. Looks like a hyena also woke up. The selection of people in the room seemed random. What connected them together besides being asleep?
Elizabeth awoke, as always, suddenly and immediately. She was in a different bed than the one she had gone to sleep in; her own was much more plain, with a far firmer mattress. Slowly, deliberately, she sat up in the new bed and scanned the room. Several people, and more oddly, several animal people, populated the room in various states of awareness. Strangely enough, Elizabeth wasn't completely on edge, despite having woken up with several unfamiliar people in an unfamiliar room. Rather, she and many of the others seemed almost unnaturally calm given their situation.
Rising out of the bed, she strode calmly towards the door where a sweet looking, dark-skinned lady held a note. She was speaking to a dog-man who introduced himself as Raymond. Stepping into range of their conversation, she listened carefully to see if she could find out what exactly was going on.
There was a human asleep on a bed more toward the wall, he was wearing jungle camouflage fatigues with a name patch that read "Arashikage" and a shoulder patch that said "42nd Spacejumpers 'Seven Deadly Sins'" on it.  He rolled over slightly and slowly opened his eyes, adjusting to the new light that was in the room, "Where the hell am I?" was his first question, "And where's my damn cigarette"
Guest Mr. Mario
A blue fox who was sleeping on a bed that was quite messy was having some nightmares and then after some time, a dream...a dream that the fox would never hear in his life, somebody was missing. After about 23 more minutes of sleeping activity, the fox got out of bed, rubbed his eyes and putted on his jacket for some warmth.
'Hey...where am I?' He wondered to himself.
(hey, Mr. Nintendo? I don't wanna be a ballbuster, but your post utterly contradicts the setting post. All the characters are in the same room and can not leave it because its locked. Just saying.)
The woman nodded back to Michael and Raymond, giving her own name. "My name is Jami. And this is a note I found on the door, which is locked. I was about to read it, but I suppose it might be best for everyone to awake first so we can all see what it has to say."
The mercenary, interested as he heard the words "Note" and "Locked door" stepped toward the group that was all crowding the door.  He looked around at the people and licked his dry lips, "So what's going on here?" he asked
Guest Mr. Mario
(I'm a little clueless...)
Harsaki looked around in a room that he seemed to be stuck in and found some people inside. He wondered what everyone and himself was doing in the same room, whether it was a party or...something else that Harasaki forgot what it was. Curious and somewhat scared, he asked everyone who was near the door
"Don't I know any of you guys from somewhere?"
Lenka flinched slightly - she hoped no one would have noticed - as more and more people began to stir. Her eyes were continuously moving, watching each person in the room in case they decided to make a move; she didn't trust any of them, they were all much too friendly to be complete strangers. Lenka started wondering if maybe this was all a conspiracy against her, but she quickly brushed the thought aside. She wouldn't let herself get tangled up in such notions until she had an ample amount of information to go off of. Lenka took a moment to compose herself, trying to ignore all the other presences in the room, surrounding her.
Three shallow breaths later, Lenka rose from the bed. She cautiously made her way to the door where the girl had been standing, looking like she was reading something. She stood next to the girl, making sure to keep herself over an arm's distance away from everyone. She peeked around the girl and all the others start to gather around the door as well, taking a quick look at the note she'd been holding a moment ago. It just said "Dear guests~" on the front. Lenka furrowed her brow. That was an off thing for it to say. She didn't recall ever being invited somewhere, and she was sure that if she had, she wouldn't have accepted.
Without realizing it, Lenka thought aloud, "We're guests?"
(Well read things over, Mr. N. It's all in here and the RP request thread.)
The hyeness untucked her legs from the blankets and dangled them off the side, touching her toes to the floor. Oddly enough, the first thing she thought about when standing to her full height was that no one she could see was in their underwear and that they all apparently slept fully clothed, and how she was lucky to be dressed decently herself. The night before was rough, so she just crashed as she was, in her usual street clothes. The downside to all this was that she felt filthy.
She approached the colorfully diverse crowd, eyeing the people in it. She didn't know any of them, not even vague familiarities from shopping trips. Nevertheless she decided they were suitable to ask about the situation.  "Hello, guys. So um... what's going on...?"
(Holy hell this RP moves fast! :lol:)
An aging German Shepherd slowly began to stir.  He was quite baffled by the incredibly distant yet imperative dream that had just met with his subconscious, but thought nothing of it, and expected to wake up to the ordinary practices of his life.  As he rolled over slightly, attempting to shrug off sleepiness, he noticed that the mattress that he lay on was foreign to him.  This was enough to make him sit up rather quickly, and then the realization of the situation hit him; he was in a room with several other people he had never met.  "This has got to be another dream..right?", he thought to himself as he began taking in his surroundings.  Many of the others had already been up for some time, and the door that led out of the room appeared to be locked, at least that was what he gathered from the conversation.  He began to stretch, and eventually set his legs on the floor, almost ready to face the reality that he, and the others, had met.
So whose guests are we? Who are these people? And where the hell is my stuff? Raymond walked back to his bed. He looked it over to make sure nothing was hidden on it then sat down on it. More people were waking up now. A hyena, a human who needed a smoke, a german shepard and a blue fox. "So what? We're guests?" Raymond said aloud. "Was I drunk during the welcoming party? Because I didn't meet any of you until today." He adds sarcastically. "Last I remember was falling asleep at the wheel while out on the town."
[Mr. N, if you need explaining on something, go ahead and ask on the discussion thread, or PM me about it. =]]
The note, that was now held in the human woman's hands, was wrote in a fine cursive writing that showed more class than one would think. It added greatly to the setting of even this room.
Dear Guests....
      If it hasn't already been brought to your attention, you are not where you once were when you fell asleep. A tragedy, I know, but enjoy the stay.
      The whole story is rather long, and a large inconvenience to write out, and my hand aches, and it would be easier to talk.
      Sudden, I know, but we really do have you here for a reason, and just need your cooperation.
      Already we are at a loss of time, so you help us, we help you, and everyone is happy.
      The issue at hand is actually one of dire importance, if not for you, those for us in this world.
      Rationally now, look at the room. There are many guests there as well in beds, or had beds. But, there is an extra bed in the back that is of finer quality to a smaller degree.
      A key with a skeleton head handle piece should be under the pillows. Go ahead and use that to get out. But make sure all the guests are with you for now. You all don't want to miss the tour.
      Patience, and all will be resolved. Thank you kindly for your time.
                                                                                                        ~Head Butler Lloyd
Was the message. Seemed a bit oddly written, but the message was clear.
"Hmm" Kage said, thinking, "So we're brought here for some mysterious reason and can get out from a hidden key that was hidden under a bed..." He said to himself, "Well, what are we waiting for?" He asked, "Let's get the key and find out what this is about"
[Hey guys! Red has brought a good point, and I would like to make sure to hold off, and post a bit slower rate, so that all the characters can at least get up and get involved before moving on. This is a large cast, and it is great that everyone is interacting, but since this is such a large cast, pages can fly by really fast. So making every post count and being descriptive is exactly what we need. =] Thanks for listening, and understanding, guys.]
Finally feeling she had a decent enough grasp on the situation - tenuous though that grasp may be - Elizabeth spoke up, addressing the man in camouflage. "Wait. Don't you find any of this at all suspicious? I don't know about you, but I'm a bit reluctant to trust this situation." Her voice, more accustomed to the quiet life of a nun, had a bit of difficulty falling back into the forceful personality she once embraced, and much to her embarrassment, was quite shaky. "First, we're somehow all taken from wherever we're sleeping and taken here without realizing it, and then we're told how to get out. Seems our kidnappers are being a bit too accommodating, don't you think?" She looked around at the assembled people, some of whom were still asleep or just rousing themselves.
"We should at least make sure we're all on the same page before doing anything rash. First things first, lets wake up anyone still asleep. Then we can decide what to do next."
The ruckus in the room roused Sissiesque from her slumber. Being a usually heavy sleeper, she groaned and rolled over, attempting to go back to sleep, assuming the noise to be outside her room. She opened her eyes to check the watch on her wrist, as she usually does when she wakes, finally noticing, with a bit of shock, that not only was the watch missing, that this was not her room. She pulled the covers over her dark hair, listening to the conversation going on in the room, having to quickly summarize in her head what was going on.
First, she was in an unfamiliar room, full of 10 other unfamiliar people. That scared her, being of the shy, non-outgoing type. Second, it appeared that they were locked inside the room, though they had been told where the key was by the letter attached to the door. This is where she became a bit confused. Why lock the door if you plan to give your captives the key anyways? Third, she was not dressed in what she had gone to bed in the previous night. This just creeped her out. She finally decided to emerge from the covers, figuring that there's only one real way to figure out what was going on, and hiding under her covers was not the way to do it.
She gingerly put her feet on the floor, expecting cold, only to realize she was wearing shoes. "Now that's just freaky..." she whispered to no one in particular. She looked around and surveyed the room, noticing the people at the door, and moving to join that group.
"I'm just saying, maybe we should find out what they want, it could be fun anyway" The mercenary replied "It's not really that bad anyway, is it?  I mean, if they had any violent intents wouldn't they have already done something?  Wouldn't they have said something to us?" he reasoned, although he was really doing this just because he was a little scared himself.  They took him from his barrack somehow, and brought him there without disturbing him or alerting anyone else, that's extremely suspicious in itself.  He looked to the row of beds, seeing a few others, and then the bed by the wall, the one that supposedly had the key under the pillow.
"Well, why don't we just take the key now" He asked "Then wait for the others"
