Scott7
If your avatar got sized weird, you will need to re-upload it. IPB decided to re-size all avatars, even if they were smaller than the max size, to the max size. I disabled this, but the damage was already done. Dude... seriously, can't you make the resolution limit any bigger then 150x100? This is pretty ridiculous Imo...
DZComposer
150x200 is what it has always been. But, I will change it to 250x250. I don't want avatars taking up half the page. EDIT: Nevermind. 250x250 bleeds over the table edges. Can't have that.

I'm not really sure what the big deal here is. I mean...the avatars now are bigger on my screen then they were using SMF. It take a few days to fine tune everything (especially with IPB setting things like avatars to default forum size) so people really shouldn't expect everything to be perfect right off the bat. Sabre
The quote system is a bit crap. Also the ability to rate indervidual posts that effect a nebulous "reputation" seems like a drama magnet. Also, if PMs used up to much space, what of all this unneccary crap like user comments, post ratings, name history ect.
"User"
The quote system is a bit crap. The quote system takes some time getting used to. Basically, if you want to quote someone in your reply you click the multiquote button in the bottom right part of their post. With that selected (it will turn green) repeat with all the posts you want to quote in your reply. When you're done that then click Add Reply at the bottom of the page and all of the quotes from various members you want to include will already be in text box. Personally I think it will be easier this way. Also the ability to rate indervidual posts that effect a nebulous "reputation" seems like a drama magnet. KLA has this concern when they first moved to SMF (feature was called Karma) back in 2005. If the cons (drama) outweigh the pros then as DZ said he can remove that feature altogether. Also, if PMs used up to much space, what of all this unneccary crap like user comments, post ratings, name history ect. Not sure. Maybe how IPB manages memory and all that is more efficient? Fureox
The theme will be changed. I am working on Sector X II, which I am modeling after the main site. It will look more like the main site than our SMF theme did: *image erased to save page space* This is a pretty early WIP. I need to adjust the fonts and add the SFO logo. I'm aiming to use the same on on the main site. I also need to work on the posts and the profile pages, so this thing is ready yet by a long shot. Ooo this looks nice I can't wait :)

LoneWolf
I wonder if SoundCloud embeds work... EDIT: Nope. DZ, here's a media tag for SoundCloud embeds. EDIT 2: Is it possible to embed an object with a standard embed code? I remember always wishing I could simply embed a BandCamp/SoundCloud player in that "What are you jamming to?" thread. Looking good so far, DZ! also should point out another little issue I just noticed; relatively minor but the post count seems to not be going up for an odd reason. Well, at least visually on the info box about the user on a post, anyway. the count in the profile however seems to be working; its kind of odd.. Arashikage
Just a small thing, I can't have two images in my signature anymore, whenever I try to get my image of Saphira back on, it changes it to a link even though I have the tags in it
DZComposer
Letting people embed things willy-nilly is not a good idea. Security risk.

Sarita
I don't know if you guys figured this out yet, but if you upload your own avatar from your machine, and don't specify dimensions, it will inflate it to the maximum. Which obviously is a bad thing. I had to reupload my avatar twice before I figured that out.

"User"
Oh, when will it be put up. I don't think it will in the foreseeable feature unless there is strong evidence for high demand to justify paying extra to use the feature. Right now only five people max can use it for free so it the meantime it might be restricted to staff only. DZ can fill you guys more in on this though than I can. Icy
Oh, I didn't know. Maybe sometime in the future we could have it. I don't know if you guys figured this out yet, but if you upload your own avatar from your machine, and don't specify dimensions, it will inflate it to the maximum. Which obviously is a bad thing. I had to reupload my avatar twice before I figured that out. I uploaded mine and it didn't resize it. It seems a little unpredictable. I'm loving the new theme and the whole new forum. I haven't seen any more bugs.
DZComposer
Hmm... It shouldn't be resizing anything, I disabled that. I may have to contact support on this one. Almost sounds like a bug to me. Sissi seems to have found a workaround, though. If you avatar gets resized, try specifying the dimensions when you upload it.
