Sabre
RSS, sometimes known as live bookmarks, is a simple idea. Your browser keeps an eye on certain bookmarks, and tells you when something new has been posted. While this is great in getting podcasts, the browser versions never seem to work as advertised. All the ones I've used so far still require to mouse over or click on the bookmark indervidually. Thus being pointless. I'd like a simple tab that lights up, changes colour, whatever, when a bookmark has added something. My goal is to have it when I boot up my browser (firefox in this case) I can click on a button that will say "Hey! These sites have new stuff!", you know, how RSS is soposed to work. Maybe I'm just being an idiot by not knowing how to work them properly, but does such a system exsist and work as intended?
