Samantha Weltzin
So I guess you're pretty stupid. To clarify, I meant that stupidity in action movies is never a problem for the main characters because everyone in the worlds of those movies is also stupid. Same goes for StarFox, which is why Krystal's idiocy doesn't come back to bite her in the butt. Also: Learn some tact. If I knew you, I'd just take it as a friendly jab, but since I don't, it just seems like you're being a smartass.

PocketRock
I love it as well...which may sound a bit strange coming from someone like me. You know something, I personally wouldn't mind seeing Krystal take a direction like this. It would spice up her personality and add a more dramatic twist to the already out of sync storyline. Furthermore, Krystal being a sexy anti-hero badass I'm pretty sure would resonate well with a good chunk of the furry fandom population...if done correctly, and that's a BIG if. No...just no. Mostly agreed upon. Subjective of course. Personally I don't think that her NOT leaving for Star Wolf would be the be all and end all concerning her personality. Sex sells, same with fan pleasing material. Krystal's popularly, for better or for worse has caused a lot of people (wanted or not) to become fans of Krystal, and a high % of those end up becoming fans of Star Fox in general. Even though Nintendo isn't known for pushing a more risque agenda in it's games "unfortunately" for the more casual/true star fox fan who isn't furry for Krystal it could be a possibility if it's done RIGHT and has that right mix of romance and what not to be a good seller. Of course, all this should be secondary to an amazing game in general. I usually frequent Toonzone .net, and that place has been "thoughtful comment bootcamp" for me. (lol sorta) I'd like to say I agree with your criticisms, but I'd like to point out: 1, I was joking a little when I said "Krystal should mutiny StarWolf" and I should've taken more time to think about what I was saying on that regard. I was still serious about everything else though. 2, when I worry about Nintendo allowing a fan pleasing game to happen (or creating one), I mean there is no easy way for a real "fan pleasing" game to happen for Star Fox, since it has a hefty enough amount of loyal fans that clash (some groups of loyal fans are bigger than others). Such as the fans of original StarFox, SF2, SF64, then a variety of Krystal fans, and you get the idea. Creating a StarFox game that relied on trying to please everybody through a plot that catered to everyone's liking could turn out badly. So I'm saying Nintendo should focus on the quality of the plot (and meaningful character development) without getting caught up in questions like "will the fans rebel against this?". Nintendo usual does the right thing by focusing on one question: "Is it fun to play?" Which is something Nintendo needs to star working on for the next StarFox game, so SF's many fans will have less to complain about. Seconded, but what about me? D: And Pocketrock, in the short amount of time you've been here you've earned by respect, as well as Milky's (and that's saying a lot ) with your well thought out opinion of my favorite blue vixen. I will look forward to your posts in the future. Yay! I like you too User (as well as Milky... and Xort... and everyone who's been so nice to me). Also, Slugsnippa, I forgive you. It always bothers me when somebody makes a simple mistake (on a forum of any kind), and they never go back to simply apologize like you did. So you're cool. :] I don't necessarily think they should go with a badass sexy anti-hero or anything like that, although it'd definitely be an improvement over what we have now. Still, that would just make the plot even more schizo than it already is. It could be done effectively without raping the little character building they've already got with her, but this is Nintendo we're talking about, so I really don't see much coming of that >_> Instead, I think they need to focus on, instead of making her a really strong character, making her insanely weak. Not to say a damsel-in-distress sort of deal, though. More along the lines of horrible mental instability and shit. I haven't played the games myself, but from what I've gathered from discussion here on SF-O Krystal went through a horribly traumatic experience, losing her entire home planet and everyone she knew and loved, met Fox, forgot all about it, and everything was all happy and rainbows. Instead, they should really have that affect her, letting it show in her relationships and shit that she's horribly afraid of losing everyone else she's come to love, to the point of absolute insanity at times. Something like that would be damned interesting. Although, pulling the same card as I did on the 'sexy anti-hero' pitch, this is Nintendo. That might be expecting a bit much of them. Although... perhaps you'd get a developer (even if it's not Nintendo) savvy enough to allude to a missing family, (husband? lover?) and past; effectively planting the seeds for some changes in character for Krystal. Who I agree... needs to go through some "mental instability and shit" after the reality of exactly what she's lost sets in (StarFox and her entire life before she was "imprisoned"... if she joins StarWolf/leaves StarFox that is)... before she can go the "sexy badass anti-hero" angle anyways. As far as explaining the whole badass anti-hero angle or Krystal breaking down over that past she lost in-game... yeah, I don't see Nintendo thinking much about that. Only because I don't see a "game-play angle" they could work into that deep of a story (you know, so casual fans won't complain and so the game maintains a quick and fun pace throughout game-play). No,not really I was just trollin' but,in the fact of the matter,I don't see anything wrong with her,she could use some backstory and maybe Nintendo could've treated her better,I just want to make that clear. ZM Anonymous
Oh wow, I've never noticed this. Krystal's a more tribal character, yet she has a British accent. Now thinking about it, she should have had more of a Nubian accent (I mean more along the lines of African) if that's the right word?

Yes, Some black people do have English accents. Don't paint me to be the bad guy here (especially since you're not so pure yourself with the "incident.") But still, she's a tribal character. An English accent doesn't really seem to match up. (Even though you say you don't really like Krystal "that way", your posts say otherwise.) I guess that's true, but you're asking too much of Nintendo, they've never been known too make their games realistic. Oh and I don't like her that way,I'm just Trollin' . I still consider her a meh-ish character, due to the fact that she's undeveloped for 1,and 2 she has many fanboys despite fact 1.

FalcoLombardi56
Krystal might be the worst character in the series because she explicitly IS fan service. The only reason she was even put in the games was because some groups thought it was highly conducive and suggestive of homosezual relations if the entire team was made up of men. Sl, to allay those feats, they put in a girl, with suggestive and skimpy clothing, who has a horrible backstory (actually, she doesn't have anything at all), and then they put her in the one game that ruined the Star Fox Franchise; Adventures. And thanks to Krystal, StarFox is only remembered because of fans using Krystal for sexual purposes.
