"User"
How do you feel about this tomboyish Lynx? IMO she, along with the other unofficial characters of Star Fox 2, should have been expanded upon in future games - regardless of the "unofficial" state of the only game she was a part of. Fureox
She has a cool look to her, I don't know much about her personality, if any, but I wouldn't mind seeing her developed in future games.
DoctorAllosaurus
She's cute, but thats about all I can say since I know next to nothing about her besides her ship being awesome. I wouldn't mind if she just magically showed up in a future game.
LoneWolf
I'd very much like to see her included in future games. She's cute and would make a good member to the team. Or even better, she could be a freelancer, doing jobs with StarFox when she can an on her own when she can't. She seems like an extremely stable character platform, much more stable then our blue vixen, Krystal. She's also a clean slate (a major advantage if you're going to introduce a new member of SF). Pros: Seems Intelligent Tomboyish Competent, if we've learned anything from SF2. She's undeveloped. Cute, in fact, more so than Krystal IMO. Cons: Nintendo's probably forgotten about her. She's undeveloped. Thanks for creating this thread, I've been a fan of her character for a while now. I just thought a thread would violate the rules because StarFox 2 is only playable by emulation. Blaze the Sage
To my knowledge, she has absolutely no personality - she has a name, a face, and that's it. I haven't seen the unreleased Star Fox 2, so there might be more there than I realize, but... Let's face it. Her only appearance was in the unreleased Star Fox 2, which was for SNES' story, which hasn't been canon (as the majority of people use the term) since 64. As far as I'm concerned, until she appears in a new game, she doesn't exist in the Star Fox story as we know it today, except in fan works where people attach the name to a character THEY'VE created. There's really nothing more to it.

Blaze the Sage
*shrug* Lots of people do it. Personally, I avoid using characters that aren't mine when I write stuff, unless the person whose character they are is assisting with it (their character, they should have a say in how the character behaves), such as my "Shadows' Claws" story that's linked in the fanfiction section </shameless plug> When it's done well though, I definitely have no problem with it. There's a Peppy-centered fanfic telling his viewpoint during the Lylat wars that really does a fantastic job that captures a side of Peppy not often thought on - the part of him that wants vengeance for James. LoneWolf
The only reason I did it is that it created something to write about while I worked on original characters. Characters are freaking hard to create.

LoneWolf
Exactly. Tacking a personality onto a mentally underdeveloped (But physically developed.) character wasn't that hard. (Did any of you actually read my story? Is it any good?)

There's really nothing more to it. That's kinda harsh. She had no personality because SF2 wasn't really character driven. If they manage to pull her from the depths of forgotten characters, she might be a great asset. I think she's a pretty cool character. I would like to see her more than some characters I won't mention.
Milkyway64
She has no personality because she -doesn't exist.- Star Fox 2 isn't canon mainly on the grounds that it was unreleased. Talking about Miyu coming back is a lot like talking about obtaining the triforce in Ocarina of Time, not gonna happen even if it's exciting. Commercially unreleased, yes! just unreleased. no.

Samantha Weltzin
no oppion I like her a little more than I like Krystal, and that's only because she wasn't around long enough to irritate me. She's neat, and I always like the idea of a female warrior of sorts, but there just isn't enough to judge her on.

Dublinthefox
In my opinion, if Star Fox 2 ever got finished i think she would make a great addition. Sure she doesn't have any character because she doesn't exist. But hey, to me, the more characters the merrier.......Except Amanda........I don't like her. Milkyway64
It's been finished. It never got released because of the release of N64. And thus it, and by extension Myu, doesn't exist in the continuity. She's out of the canon.

DZComposer
I agree with the sentiment that Miyu has absolutely zero background or personality information that is known. Maybe someday the SF2 manual will get leaked, but that is unlikely seeing as it hasn't arleady happened. It may not have even been written. That said, to say that because of that there is zero chance of her making an appearance later is a bit fallacious. I would say the chance of it is slim-to-none, but not impossible. Many things from SF2 have made the canon leap, the most noteworthy being Star Wolf and Monkey-Head Andross. Also, I thought Bill Grey wasn't ever coming back due to him being part of the whole Katina/Independence Day gag (William Grey was the name of one of the generals in the movie), and he came back in SFC. This is not like finding the Ocarina of Time in Star Fox as the ocarina is from an entire different series. Apples != Oranges. Is Miyu making a canon appearance highly unlikely? Yes. Impossible? No.
LoneWolf
BUMPITY BUMP BUMP I still like Miyu. She's a clean slate that would be great for building on, more so than Krystal. Krystal's background has been shot full of holes and set on fire. But I do agree with DZ, she's prolly not going to show up unless (and as far as I know this has never happened) Nintendo obeys the fanbase and sticks her in, but even then they'll probably screw her up. Nope.
But I do agree with DZ, she's prolly not going to show up unless (and as far as I know this has never happened) Nintendo obeys the fanbase and sticks her in, but even then they'll probably screw her up. <insert big no here> I WANT HER!! NOW! ... I mean, in the next game... Jokes aside, I don't know if the guys from Nintendo are going listen to their fans about this, but I'm sure the fandom will rejoice if they do. Hell, I'm gonna be really mad if they'll screw her up and make a cardboard-character-sex-icon like *cough*Krystal*cough* out of her. *Runs away from rabid Krystal fanboys* ( PS: No, I don't hate Krystal. I actually feel sorry for her and for how her character got "developed" -if you can call that development-. It's not her fault, she's just... well... a character. ) And what about Fay anyway?
