So what are some of your favorites?

Mine are:

Fist of the North Star/Hokuto no Ken: (Unless you're squeemish, there is absolutely no reason for you to not have read/watched this.)

Lupin the Third

Cromartie High School (I'm not usually into random japanese humor, but this is one of the few exceptions because its really well done. Also, Freddie Mercury is in this... No, I'm not joking)

Golgo 13

Cowboy Bebop

FLCL

Yu Yu Hakusho

One Piece

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (I never did get too far in this one despite enjoying what I watched)

Dragonball

I'm pretty sure there are more that I like, but I can't seem to remember the rest. Its honestly been way too long since I've read or watched any.

Seasons 1, 2, and 3 of Digimon kicked too much ass for words, although season 4 was horrible. 5 was okay, but nothing too special.

Shaman King - I like the manga more than the anime, but for a 4Kids dub the anime was fucking amazing.

Yu Yu Hakusho - Surprisingly good, considering the characters at first seemed quite annoying. However, they managed to end up being awesome, and the show itself was way cool.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Farking crazy show right there. Loved every bit of it (especially the Phoenix Wright segment)

Fullmetal Alchemist - Pretty damn good show

Fist of the North Star - Pretty self explanatory.

All I can think of right now, although I have a sneaking suspicion there's more I just can't think of.

I'm not much of an anime person, but my girlfriend is and she had me watch Elfen Lied. Now THAT is a messed up Anime, but it's good, and it is sad too.

It's one of those things that makes you think too, I can't really explain why, you'd have to watch it.

It is kind of obscure. I remember my friend in high school showing me this and all I could think was "What......the.......heck am I watching?"

Anything that I have in my person collection I really enjoyed. I think I have DearS, Steel Angel Kurumi, and Sailor Moon, but I might have more than that... that's just my DVD collection anyways. :P

I saw Elfen Lied, and really liked it. :x

To Love Ru was really cute, too, I'm not finished with it, though.

I am slowly but surely making my way through Inuyasha. I first saw it in middle school, and I told myself I would watch the whole damn thing, no mater how long it took or how bored I got. XD

Shaman King was awesome, too. I don't remember if I watched the bulk of it in English or Japanese though. Steve would remember.

Outlaw Star. <3

Those are all the ones I remember right now. xD

My favorite of all time, huh? Gosh... There are so many I am practically in love with! XD But, since I must pick just one anime and manga, this would have to be my choice.

Anime: First few seasons of Pokemon. No one can doubt the awesomeness of that. Clean, classic, original, and practically enjoyable for all ages with the humor and cast of characters. Fun for all, and just plain awesome

Manga: Now, before I say this, please note I do not mean anime by any means. My fave would have to be, Naruto. Now, two reasons for this. First, it was my first manga I ever got into really, so it has my heart in that sense. And second, I loved how they showed at least some realism with the younger teens. People that age do swear, and such. Although, I am upset since it was meant to be a shÃ…nen-ai, and Sasuke and Naruto were meant to hook up. They kinda changed that, though, so it ticks me off. Why it ticks me off, before people rant/troll me, is because when it had that aspect in the first few volumes, mainly volumes 1-4, it had great balance, story, and character development, making the beginning -actually- really good.

I've recently begun watching Bleach, and I must say although I don't quite see how they could keep it up over 300 episodes, so far it's quite entertaining, and I do love the soundtrack for it.

I haven't watched anime in so long O_o

For anime I believe that I always enjoyed DragonballZ, Dragonball, the first season of Pokemon, and the first iteration of Yu-Gi-Oh (the one that was before the horrid GX)

I don't ever recall reading a manga

After the Soul Society arc, I'm done with Bleach. Changed the tone and style of the show waaaay to much for me. The first 20 or so episodes were bad ass, but now it's just Dragonball Z with katanas.

No argument here! Bleach is currently one of my favorites as well; I like the portrayal of the Shinigami's supernatural role which is to keep the balance while also keeping in line with the whole 'sending souls to the afterlife or hell' thing. there have been several moments that I like in that show; but as far as the battles are concerned..my favorite fight would have to be Ichigo vs. Byakuya - the Soul Society story arc was the best. the arcs after that were good as well.

in Manga? Naruto. definitely Naruto - there is just too much I like about it for me to list.

I actually despised the Soul Society arc, and it's mostly what convinced me to stop watching. There were some cool moments in it, but it changed everything way too much. Music tracks that were before saved for truly epic moments were played every other episode, it all became reminiscent of DBZ (which I've never really liked) and it just went on and on for eveeeer.

Still, its popularity speaks for itself, to be sure. 300+ episodes is impressive. I just liked it more before the SS arc.

Oh man favorite manga/anime this could take a while. I'd have to say for now both of my favorite Manga & Anime would have to be Full Metal Alchemist & Rurouni Kenshin as to me they both had a pretty good story in them. (I know there are alot more but seeing as I'm feeling kind of tired right now these are the two I'm gonna name for now) (Also I'm still reading the FMA series and haven't gotten to the end as I'm only on Volume 12 so PLEASE (I beg of you) try not to release any spoilers or at least put a spoilers warning if this isn't asking too much, thanks.)

I would have to say that Fullmetal Alchemist is my all time favorite anime. Though that opinion is like 6 years old. I'll have to see what new stuff interests me in these recent years.
