Has anyone here ever heard of a line of "furry" action figures by Lanard called the K9 Corps? They were sold at K-Mart in like 2005/2006 and were discontinued in 2007.

They made like 8 figures of the line. 7 dogs and 1 human. There's a German Shepherd, a Rottweiler, A Bull Terrier, a PitBull, a Bulldog and two bad guys were a Doberman and a Wolf/Husky mix.

I just bought a 3 off of ebay like two weeks ago. they're actually pretty cool but their like 12 inches and take up most of my desk.

All I know of Lanard is their crappy rip offs of Nerf guns.

@ Above posts: Looks like a bunch of anthros were around radiation for too long. Those be UGLY AS HECK.

If you wanted furry action figures, a custom made one (Of which there are few, but then, I haven't checked FurAffinity yet...that place scares me.) would do the job better. They're just expensive, and most artists who could efficiently create such a thing are non-furries. And the key thing is custom made. They'd be one of a kind, which, of course, makes them insanely expensive.

Yeah, their not the best quality. The guns don't fit in their hands and the wolf one is prone to loose joints in his legs.(I have a hard time getting him to stand) And they have over sized feet and hands. But even though they aren't nice-looking their head sculpts are really detailed.

I know of them. Iirc they have a reputation for breaking as you said, but I think they also had/came with a comic that is apparently so bad it's terrible.

This video was barely animated ^

I hate how each figure came with a CD maybe only like two should have had a CD. I have like 3 CDs sitting on my desk. :hehe:

I doubt there would be any serious animation.

They should've paid more attention actually making a decent animation than making it detailed and shaded.

Not really. As it is the still look great on box art. It's a very effecient way to produce stuff.

Could be worse. Could have had a game like Cheatah men.

Reminds me of the Planet Protectors cartoons

I think some of the comments on the video said that it reminded people of a show called called "Road Rovers"

I found a video of like the first episode on youtube:

Holy Carpe Diem, I actually remember that show! k_e_smile.gif

Just another example of why the 90's cartoons were SO much better than anything today. k_e_nod.gif
