Fang O'Donnell
NOTE: please inform me of any incorrect data, or spelling errors, so they maybe corrected A.S.A.P. Name: Fang O'Donnell Age: Two years younger than brother Wolf, one year younger than Fox. 17 (SF64), 21 (Farewell, Beloved Falco), 26 (Adventures), 27 (Assault), Race: anthropomorphic grey wolf/arctic wolf, dominatily arctic (dad: grey/mom: arctic) Birth planet: Corneria Current home: Corneria. Sex: Male Choice: Women Height: 6'0" Weight: 160lbs Build: Athletic, yet lanky Eyes: Blue Fur: White with a greyish-silver tint. Clothes: A V-neck shirt covered by an unzipped pilots jacket with the HOUND insignia on the upper left sleeve. He has mirrored aviators (usually tucked into the front of his shirt collar), burgundy flame retardent pants being held up by a belt with a blaster holstered on the right side, a knife on his left side and a BLOODHOUND logo on the buckle, and black and white boots. Family: Maddox and Sally O'Donnell (Both parents - deceased.) Wolf O'Donnell (His older brother - current leader of the mercenaries for hire, Star Wolf.) Alignment: Good. Career: Fang has had many jobs including, Cornerian Army Pilot, Espionage agent, Bounty Hunter, and, on occasion, a Scientist. Personality: Fang is a kind, caring, and forgiving person, who doesn't mind being brutally honest. He is also very funny and loves to make people laugh (even his enemies). He treats all of his jobs/missions with the utmost respect and dignity, yet is known for cracking a smart-alec remark every now and again. He can become cocky and competitive, but doen't mind sitting back and allowing others to take his hard earned credit. He also is over-oppinionated, which often times leads him to accidentally hurt the ones he cares about. Transportation: Fang flys his specially made, blue & gold space fighter, The Impresa (later, The Impresa ST) a ship which slightly resembles a Wolfen II, but slimer and more aerodynamic, yet it lacks the fire power and brute force that The Wolfen II provides. The ship is equipped with double blasters & up to five Nova-Bombs (Smart-bombs). Weapons: Fang uses a blaster-pistol capable of stun-shots, and consealed knife, known as a survival knife, but doesn't wear a reflector. His hand-to-hand involves CQC (Close Quarters Combat). Strengths: He has above-average flying ability. He is also an acceptional fighter, chosing to use CQC (Close Quarters Combat) a very fast fighting style used at close range to engage enemies or disarm an opponent. Fang is a great shot with the blaster, and a huge threat in espionage situations. Weaknesses: He often lets how he feels about others cloud his judgment and decisions. He can also be very cocky, often times, leaving himself wide-open on the battle field or in dogfights. He, for a wolf, isn't known for his strength, occasionally, being called 'runt' by his friends, peers, and enemies. Finally, he is sort-of clumsy despite his athletic prowess. Background/Bio: Early life - Fang O'Donnell was born, 17 years before the Lylat Wars, to a Mr. & Mrs. Maddox O'Donnell, who already had a 2 year old son named Wolf. During his childhood, Fang and his brother were raised mainly by their mother Sally O'Donnell. Fang thought very highly of Wolf, as they matured, even noting him as the, "Best brother ever." Fox McCloud (after his mother's tragic death via car bomb) was also raised by Sally, while his father, James McCloud, and Wolf and Fang's father, Maddox O'Donnell, were fighting for the Cornerian Army and the Anti-Terrorist Special-Forces espionage group, HOUND. Besides James and Maddox, HOUND included 5 year army veteran Peppy Hare and, Maddox and James' old Army buddy, Pigma Dengar. Fang thought highly of Fox as well, always chasing after him, and his brother Wolf, whenever they played together. Upon Fang's 11th birthday HOUND was disbanded, giving Maddox and James time to teach Fang and Fox the basics of flying Arwings, while Wolf enrolled in the Cornerian Flight Academy. During this time a General of the Cornerian Army, named Pepper, demanded Andross (a scientist for the Cornerian Army, who was on the brink of madness) quit his experiments and inventions, stating they were unorthidox and wouldn't help Corneria, or The Lylat System in anyway. Andross refused, saying, and I quote "The General has no proof that my inventions and experiments wouldn't prove helpful to Corneria, or the rest of Lylat for that matter." One year after, Fox joined Wolf at the academy, where the two childhood friends developed a rivalry, always trying to one up eachother and often receiving punishment for it. A couple months had past since Fox's enrollment in the Cornerian Flight Academy, and James and Maddox were both called by General Pepper and told to get out there gear, because HOUND was being re-instated for a top-secret mission of the utmost urgency. James and Maddox were the only two members informed about the re-instatement. General Pepper, with the approval of the Cornerian Government, sent HOUND into Andross' lab, located inside the Cornerian Weapons Facility, in Corneria City to discover Andross' true intentions for his experiments and inventions. Once there, the two man team managed to extract enough data against Andross, until they were both captured. Andross tortured Maddox in order to find out why HOUND was sent in their. (Even though Andross already knew why, but he just wanted to torture them for even trying.) James was held captive, and forced to watch as his best friend was electricuted by one of Andross' machines. Just then, the machine exploded, due to an overload, allowing for James' escape, but killing Maddox in the process. The explosion was so large, that it destroyed a part of the city, leaving 45 injured and 12 killed. No one knows how James, let alone Andross, were able to make it out alive. James then told of Andross' evil experiments, and creations, to General Pepper showing him pictures and documents taken from inside the lab. Upon seeing the evidence, Pepper had Andross arrested, Andross was forced to stay in a padded room inside of the Cornerian Asylum until his court hearing. Andross pleaded his case to the Cornerian court, saying the explosion was actually an unstable experiment he'd been working on, and that the accident should be viewed as such. But, upon seeing the evidence produced by HOUND, which revealed that the exploded experiment was actually a biological weapon (that was set off when the devise used to torture Maddox exploded.) which was created without the approval of The Cornerian Government. The court passed the motion, allowing Pepper to banish Andross to Venom. James told of the beloved husband, and father's, unfortunate death to the, heart-broken, O'Donnell family. Angered by it all, Wolf ran away from home, claiming "James didn't even try to stop it." Fang, sadden by his father's death, and brothers disappearance, received his late father's gear. The gear included his father's white, HOUND, pilot's jacket, a pair of burgundy pants, black and white boots, and aviators his father (much like James) used to wear during his downtime and military leave. Fang promised James that he'd wear them proudly. (as soon as they fit.) Teenage years at the academy - The following year, Fang joined Fox at the Cornerian Flight Academy, where he met Lucy Hare (Peppy's daughter) hitting it off with her almost immediatly and becoming one of her closest friends. Fang denies ever having romantic feelings for Lucy, claiming, "I could never date a rabbit." He also met Fox's new friends, Falco Lombardi, who was a bit more than a hand full for the school, and Slippy Toad, a smart, young, mechanic who was very shy. Fang, however, had the most respect for Fox's childhood friend, Bill Grey, (who Fang had played with as a young pup.) often choosing to be Bill's partner whenever the option was presented. During his second year at the academy, Fang's mother, Sally, took her own life by over-dosing on anti-depression pills, leaving a note saying, she couldn't help feeling alone and empty. Fang, blamed himself for his mother's suicide and, often times, finding himself talking to Lucy about his situation. Fang told Lucy everything, his father's murder, his brother abandoning him and his mother, and now, his mother's death because she felt alone and scared. Fang thought he shouldn't have enrolled in the academy and he should have stayed home with his severely depressed mother. Lucy told him he made the right choice, and that his parents would have wanted him to lead his own life. Lucy consoled him all night and even gave Fang his first kiss. One year later, Falco left the academy, saying it wasn't exciting enough, and started a space gang, known as, The Hot-Rodders. James McCloud formed, the mercenaries-for-hire, Star Fox, which included, 5 year Pilot, Peppy Hare, and James' old buddy, Pigma Dengar (Who both served with James and Maddox in HOUND). Two years later, James and his Star Fox team, after countless missions, were sent by General Pepper to investigate Planet Venom. There had been some reports of strange activity, and Pepper thought Star Fox would be the perfect team to check out the rumors. Upon arrival, Pigma betrayed his wingmates and turned them over to Andross. James and Peppy were shot down by Star Wolf, a team lead by Wolf O'Donnell. (The team also included Leon Powalski, an assassin, and Andrew Oikonny, Andross' nephew.) One year prior, Wolf recieved a transmission from Andross, claiming the deaths (including Wolf's father's) were all the fault of James McCloud and the Cornerian Government, who broke into his lab, and attempted to destroy all of his beautiful inventions. Andross then, got a hold of Pigma Dengar, before Star Fox headed to Venom, and offered him alot of money to defect to the Star Wolf team and to turn his teammates over to Andross. James was handed directly to Andross, while Peppy was sent back to Corneria to inform General Pepper of Andross' schemes. Andross felt his troops were ready and if Lylat wanted a war, then a war they shall have. Peppy also told Fox about his father's horrible fate. (Leaving out the part about Wolf, knowing the O'Donnell's have been the McCloud's, family friends for years.) A couple months passed and Andross' Army was getting ready to attack the Lylat System. Fox and Peppy decided to create a new Star Fox team, and enlisted the help of Falco Lombardi and Slippy Toad, to defend Lylat from Andross. Fang wanted nothing more than to defend his homeworld, by joining the Army and fight along side his CFA idol, Bill Grey, but Fang was one year too young, (17 SF64) and couldn't become a pilot for the Cornerian military. Fang graduated along with his friend Lucy Hare from the CFA two months after Star Fox prevailed over Andross. While attending the Cornerian Flight Academy, Fang excelled in his classes, including, War-Time Flight simulation Training, Close Quarters Combat Training, and Blaster accuracy which was practiced on the academy's shooting range. Fang's best subject however, was in a class inspired by HOUND. The class was called, Anti-Terrorist Special-Forces Espionage Training, in which, Fang trained in a VRS, or Virtual Reality Simulator, which used real-life sinerios to train it's students. Students were graded on how fast they could pass the mission, and on how scarce they could make themselves, to there enemies. Fang recieved top-honors for this class through out his school career, and he still holds the best-score record for 50 out of 70 of the stages. Military Service - After the war Fang was 18 years old, and now enlisted in the Cornerian Army, where he and Lucy Hare served as Pilots. Fang remained a Pilot, even after Lucy Hare left the military after 1 short year of service. (due to her mother, Vivian's, death shortly after the war.) During his Piloting career, Fang mainly worked under his CFA hero Bill Grey, to eliminate remaining Venomian Army Soldiers. Fang wore his late father's gear proudly, just as he promised his god-father, James McCloud. Three years passed, and General Pepper promoted Fang to the new Anti-Terrorist Special-Forces unit known as BLOODHOUND. Being a part of BLOODHOUND, Fang would be sent on espionage missions in areas that had the Cornerian Government's military interest. Fang's first major mission came one month after his 21st birthday. (Comic: Farewell, Beloved Falco.) General Pepper suspected faul-play by Captain Shears' watch over the Cornerian Military Base, located on Planet Titania. Fang was sent in to the base disquised as a scientist, by the name Dr. Stewart Pliskin, to confirm these alligations. Fang took documents and photos from the facility, which revealed the true intentions of Captain Shears and the Cornerian base, on Titania. Fang then met a Katt Monroe, of the space gang known as the Hot-Rodders, she was sent by General Pepper to meet Fang at the drop off point only half a mile from the base and recover his gathered data, in order to lift the price on her, and the Hot-Rodders, heads. Fang gave Katt the information and reminded her to inform General Pepper of the mission success, he also told her not to tell anyone, but Pepper, of how she aquired this data, knowing it would jeopardize the mission if she were to do so. After she retrieved the intell from "Dr. Stewart", Katt proceeded to make the call to General Pepper who, to her surprise, didn't answer so she left a transmission message. What Katt didn't know was Shears' base intercepted the message she sent to General Pepper and re-routed it to the facilities receiver. Captain Shears now new of the swiped documents, and sent the Goras, with whom he had a secret alliance with, after her and the Hot-Rodders. Katt sent an S.O.S. to the Star Fox team, realizing her message had been intercepted by Shears. Katt explained their situation to Star Fox, but none of the team members felt they should help a gang in trouble. All, except, Falco who came down and ran the Goras off. Katt then told Falco about Shears' plan to use Andross' data to manufacture weapons. Meanwhile, the rest of the Star Fox team met up with the Shears, who told them he'd help locate Falco if, as long as they eliminated a few straggling "Venomian Army Soldiers" who made off with valuable data from the base. Star Fox agreed, not knowing that the "Venomian's" was actually Falco, Katt, and the rest of the Hot-Rodders, then confronted the "Venomian's" ship. Falco emerged from the ship and immediatly started a dogfight with Fox in order to distract Star Fox. (Fox believed Falco had defected to the Venomian Army.) Fox ended up shooting Falco down, and won the fight. Peppy would give Fox an ear full after the dog fight was over. Fox would tell Peppy that Falco had emerged from the Venomian vessel. Peppy, disturbed by what he had just heard, agreed with Fox and they both admitted that they were starting to question Captain Shears' true intentions. The team, after much debate, sent Slippy into the base as a spy. Katt contacts Fox, shortly after Slippy's left, to yell at him for shooting down Falco. Fox was surprised to find Katt Commanding the "Venomian" ship. Katt told Fox that they weren't working for Andross at all, then she told them that the Hot-Rodders had aquired information when they hacked into Shears' main data base (when in reality, she was keeping her promise to "Dr. Pliskin" A.K.A. Fang O'Donnell.) By this time, Fang was on his way to the Titanian capitol to inform the president of the situation, and that he should have all nieghboring towns evacuated. Fang then flew his Impresa to the Great Fox. R.O.B. finished his analsis on the data Star Fox had received from Katt he revealed that Shears wasn't creating weapons based off Andross' research, like Katt expected, but instead he was trying clone Andross himself. R.O.B. also informed Fox that Slippy had been captured. Star Fox and the Hot-Rodders conducted a full frontal assault onbthe base. The Hot-Rodders acted as a distraction so Fox could enter the base to rescue Slippy and, hopefully, halt Andross' cloning process. While Fox was in the base he ran into a few gaurds, but managed to find the cell where Slippy was being held. After breaking Slippy out, Fox and the frog ducked into a room, which was actually the location of Andross' reproduction. Shears challenges Fox to a duel using only rapiers. Fox beats Shears by disarming him, but it was to late to stop the devise. Andross' clone matured much faster than anticipated, and awoke in an uproar to the sight of Fox. Shears attempted to escape, but was crushed by his own creation. Andross attempted to suck Fox into his mouth, but Fox his rapier into Andross' right eye temporarily blinding him. Meanwhile, while attacking the base, the Hot-Rodders they were attacked by the Goras. Katt contemplated taking the colony of Goras out herself, after reflecting upon what Falco said before he left the Hot-Rodders. Falco, in his newly remodeled Arwing, flew down to aid the Hot-Rodders yet again, this time taking out the Goras once and for all. Just then Fox and Slippy made it to the loading dock of the base, where they noticed a Landmaster. The land master was sent to them by R.O.B. who was informed by Fang, that Andross' cloning process would be faster than the data suggested, Fang then flew back to Corneria to inform Pepper of the situation, Fox climbed into the Landmaster, and released a nova-bomb on Andross' clone, destroying Andross, the base, and almost killing himself in the progress. Falco left Star Fox after the ordial, but before departing he asked Fox to do him a favor, "Tell Katt to quit the Hot-Rodders." Fox performed his friends request and told Katt, Katt contacted Falco after a while saying "thank you." Fang continued to work for BLOODHOUND the next 4 years, going on two more missions. After the Military - Fang left the military after 7 years of service, claiming he couldn't work for the corrupt any longer. Fang was now a bounty hunter. While searching for an escaped convict, just off planet Sauria, He running low on fuel and decided to land on the primitive planet. One of the locals told him of a star that had recently vanished from the night sky, ever since General Scales and the Sharpclaw tribe became more violent, and are trying to take over. Fang couldn't believe the old man, but was then attacked by a couple of Sharpclaw warriors. (who he took care of with ease) After defeating the Sharpclaw, the old man told Fang to go to the Krozoan palace to find answers. Interested, Fang did just that. Upon his arrival to the palace he saw a blue female fox. Without letting himself be seen, Fang decided to trail her into the palace. Once inside the Krozoan palace, Fang watched the blue fox complete a spiritual challenge, he also watched as the spirit of Andross attacked her and encase her in a crystallin cell. Fang hid in the shadows and watched the imprisoned fox's cell raise to the palace's ceiling. Although Fang wanted to save her, he didn't want to risk being trapped by Andross just like she had been. Fang watched as Andross disapeared, he then snuck deeper into the Krozoan Palace to try and find clues as to why Andross is here and how he's, however weak, still alive. While searching the palace, Fang stumbled upon Andross' current living chamber, he looked for any evidence as to Andross' current existence. Fang heard a noise in the corridor outside the room, he made himself scarce. Andross, who was to weak to notice Fang's presence, came into the room. Fang over heard Andross talking about his plan and how long it took to come into perision. Andross revealed that it was him that caused planet Cerinia's destruction. Fang immediatly thought back to the old man who told him about the 'star' that vanished from the night sky. Andross continued, stating how he gave the Sharpclaw enough power to keep the Earthwalkers, and the rest of Sauria busy, and how the capture of the blue fox who can call forth the Krozoa spirits, and how both her energy and that of the Krozoan spirits would help him destroy Lylat for good. Fang immediatly left Sauria, finding fuel for his Impresa at a near by, abandoned Cornerian military base. Fang noticed the Great Fox outside the planets atmosphere as he was leaving. Just then, Fang remembered that Falco left Star Fox, and lately was known to be hanging around the Sargasso Space Zone. A place known for criminals and bounty hunters alike. Though Fang didn't know Falco's reasons for being there, headed to Sargasso. Fang found Falco shortly after arrival, and told Falco, of Sauria's predicament. Falco seemed uninterested in helping, until Fang mentioned seeing the Great Fox while he was leaving Sauria. Falco left immediatly after hearing about Star Fox being in possible danger. Fang, saw Falco off saying "Good luck. I need to meet someone here, an old friend if you will." By this time, all of the Krozoan spirits were released and Andross grew into a giant Krozoan statue, over looking the palace, claiming to be a god. Krystal was released from her crystallin cell, after which, she grabbed her staff from Fox (who had recovered it on the ground shortly after Krystal dropped it during her battle with, the Sharpclaw General, Scales.) and tried to destroy the statue. Krystal's staff was completely in effective and the statue flew off into space, Fox followed the statue in his Arwing. When Fox reached space, the Krozoan statue stared him sharply in the eyes then quickly turned, revealing Andross. (Who, to Fox's knowledge, died eight years earlier.) Andross laughed at the sight of Fox, and told him how he was going to destroy Lylat altogether. Fox, horror struck, knew he had to destroy Andross for good. A battle of good and evil ensued, the clash of the two combatents could be heard by the residents of Sauria itself. Andross gained the upper hand, and was preparing to use his massive jaws to deal the finishing blow to Fox. Until, just then, Falco flew in from nowhere and saved Fox from being killed. Andross, however, ignored Falco and only focused on destroying Fox, this would be Andross' downfall. Falco provided bombs for Fox to use against Andross, the bombs would be tossed into Andross' mouth, one by one, revealing his large brain. Swift shots were fired and Andross burst into a blast of energy, almost claiming the lives of Fox and Falco. Fox had yet again saved the Lylat System, and destroyed Andross. This time with the help of his old friend Falco, and Fang his friend unseen. Fang waited at the Sargasso Space Zone for team Star Wolf to arrive, knowing they had put quite a bounty on there heads and the SSZ was the only safe heaven for his older brother's mercenary team. Wolf practically ran the Sargasso Zone now. Wolf finally showed, seeing Fang for the first time in 14 long years. (Fang is now 26) The two brother's agreed to a drink, and caught up with eachother. After Wolf finished telling Fang about his on-goings, Fang told Wolf that he was now a bounty hunter after serving 7 years in the military. Wolf asked Fang if he was there to arrest him and his team. Fang told him no, then in a disappointed tone asked Wolf, "What would mom and dad say about your decisions?" Wolf told his brother that he just didn't understand why he had to do what he did in the past. Fang told his brother that he should think about what he, himself, understood about his past. Fang then hopped into his Impresa and took off. Wolf took time to reflect on his brother's words and his own actions. "Maybe Fang's right, maybe I don't know the truth behind dad's death. But, I can't take back what's been done." Edited March 6, 2011 by Fang O'Donnell

MindyMcCloud
Gosh dang, this is wonderful. I don't think I have anything to say, really. Wolf having a brother? Totally believable, because Nintendo didn't, not to my knowledge, said anything about him having/not having a brother. On the other hand, my RP character was gonna be Fox's long lost sister. Now that's debatable.
Fang O'Donnell
thanks for reading it so far, but believe me my stories so elaborate that it may catch a few bumps in the road as far as plausiblity goes. and though your RP maybe debatable it's not impossible just keep workin' on it. :D

Fang O'Donnell
*NOTE* I am choosing to leave SF: Command out of my character's bios, due to the fact that I have no knowledge of what is canon/non-canon in that clusterd mess called a Star Fox game. If any one can tell me if Nintendo releases (or has released) any info on the subject that would be great, thank you. :D

sjrathbun812
This is really good and I NEVER read RP's but this one is very entertaining, I might just read others. You do a very good job at this. I wish I was this good. And man, it took me forever to read! I usually end up being sloppy. That's probably my biggest problem. That, and not really knowing where I'm going with the story. sjrathbun812
Hmmm, you know what I find interesting is that RP's are sorta like Fan Fics, only they revolve more on the character than the story. Again, I think you do a good job at it. Once your done with this, you should look into writing a Fan Fic too. Oh! And I just remembered what I was going to say! This has been watched. Actually, I watch pretty much everything I post in if I remember.

sjrathbun812
Cool! I like what you did there. Last night I would've stayed on longer, but the power went out unexpectedly, and turned the computer off. My dad fixed the problem though, so that's good. It was funny when it happened though, because I was on the computer when the lights flickered. And I was like, "I could have sworn that it got darker in here.." And then the computer went, "BEEEEEOOOOOWWWWWWwP" And I was, "Oh that's just great." But hey, at least something different happened last night right? AAAAAnyway, I guess I should get back on then. :wolf:
