Blaze the Sage
Before I begin, lemme say that everything here is editted from sprites from Fire Emblem, mostly the GBA games, though there may be a background or two taken from the Gamecube game. Fire Emblem is, of course, not mine. For the purpose I made a lot of this stuff for, some of the things I did were simple recolors, but I'm not gonna post those. Now, ordinarily, I'd post a bunch of individual sprite images, but seeing as we havea max-imaged-per-post here, I decided to do something slightly different, and make a sort of "compilation image". Matching portraits and sprites were put together with the name of the character, the rest were just sorta put under "miscellaneous", though most of the sprites and portraits you see were made for a character I created at some point. Most. So, here we go:
Xortberg
Daaamn, you're good. Especially at the battle sprites. To me, the right eye on Paranolde looks a bit funky, and there seems to be a stray pixel or two on Teonass's face. Agree, or am I just missing something? Blaze the Sage
Actually, there IS a few stray pixels on Teonass' face that I forgot to go back and fix here - it's because those few stray pixels were actually the same color as the background of the image, which I made transparent, so those stray pixels went transparent, too. The one by his eyepatch is right on the verge of a 2nd scar though, yeah. As for Paranolde's eye, I see what you mean, and blame the fact that I actually pasted another character's face over that head's normal face, so the head angles don't quite match up - it was passable though, and that's honestly all I'd been going for at the time. I'll also note that the magic dude on the horse down there was my first and only ever foray into photoshop for spriting - which I only had access to because I was messing aroung on a school computer. DoctorAllosaurus
Pretty good, this stuff is leagues better than my 8-bit abominations.

Yeah, the transparent pixels are a pretty easy fix, and it's not too horrible a problem. And I've had my fair share of wonky angles and trying to make them work, so I totally understand where you're coming from on Paronolde. Also, am I correct in assuming that the magic horse guy used a Troubadour's animation as his base? Looks pretty similar to their healing animation, IIRC. If not that, it also kind of reminds me of a Paladin's dodge animation or something.
Blaze the Sage
Actually, the magic dude himself is a mix between a Paladin's horse and a Mage Knight from Sacred Stones. The horse's pose is simply from a point in their attack animation, I think.

I haven't actually played the GBA games in quite a while, so I suppose I'm a bit rusty :P
Blaze the Sage
A bit of a compilation image - you know that dude up there with the flaming sword and the tail? He didn't always look like that, and he used to be the leader of a Mercenary Company called The Burning Blades, and this is just a little shot on them back in the glory days, doing what they do best. And a little joke thing, WHEN GAMES COLLIDE. Jean, of Breath of Fire 2, in his shamanized form, in a Fire Emblem battle scene. Sadly the sprite sheet I found for Jean was missing some of the frames to make it look a bit smoother than this, but whatever.
Blaze the Sage
More from me - this one was something of a banner for an RP I've attempted a few times featuring the trio of the right, in their story of the Burning Blades, rising from the ashes of defeat with new faces and old as they end up pitted against former allies, now teamed up with new faces of their own. A small animation of Darnan up there, and one I'm fairly proud of - if only because of how much detail work I had to put into this. As always, not from scratch, but the legs may as well be, cause the original character that I used for these sprites had a loincloth that hung down. He also didn't have a shirt, but adding a shirt is easier than removing the loincloth and replacing it with pants And as a little treat, this was the initial map of a large-scale map battle I actually got started at one point on a Fire Emblem Battle forum, though we never got even half way. I had events planned, a story for it, reinforcements, it was lots of fun to put together. The player characters would start with the Sniper at the bottom of the map, and had to fight their way to the top of the map to the Lord up there, and trust me it wouldn't be as easy as it looks in that last stretch, and then escort him out through a whooole new wave of enemies. And that sorceror-looking boss was up to a number of no-good tricks the whole time, with some real nastiness up his sleeve. Of course, the two rooms in the lower middle of the map were hidden until the doors opened.
