ThePointingMan
Another problem though, some people believe anti matter even goes backwards in time, try and figure that one out ... Anyways, we may not be able to get anti gravity down, or at least not for a ong time, but we can always simulate it with other methods, such as.... Samantha Weltzin
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nP4zQ4R8vJg I'll post more later. I did a little research on this guy, to make sure he wasn't a hack. Lo and behold, he is. He's a "New World Order" and "Times of Biblical Prophecy" doomsayer, so his credibility is definitely in question. Again, I'm no scientist, so I can't argue specifics, but I bet you anything there are plenty of scientists out there who can point out exactly where his statements are pseudoscientific balogna. Again, I can't say for sure it's not possible, but I don't think we know enough right now to be able to do it. If we did, this guy or others like him would have made something by now (or had engineers do it) and we would have heard about it, since he clearly likes to go public. Doesn't disprove your hypothesis, ArwingCommander, but your source just doesn't work.
Robert Monroe
This entire thread makes me think of Star Trek fans trying to defend Star Trek's "scientific credibility". You can't just take a few youtube videos, and then summarize the very basics of HIGHLY theoretical nonsense, and expect to explain on an internet forum what the most EDUCATED SCIENTISTS OVER THE PAST CENTURY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO DO. Do you have a PhD in physical science? Unless you do, I seriously doubt your insight is as enlightened as the experts who have come before you. Nova
I cant seem to find the article, But some scientists created a small hole inside a giant magent about the size of a room allowing weightlessness on earth. They had videos of a frog floating around inside the small hole and also had some liquid tests. I'll keep looking, I'll edit post when I find it

ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Can antimatter travel back in time? If so, because matter and antimatter would be in the same area when the anti-gravity reaction occurs, are they taking each other out because they have opposite flows of time? Thu'um
besides anit matter is almost impossible to think of, what you would want is this. it is not effected by gravity My link

ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
I was wondering if this would lead to a new kind of personal hovercraft. If that whole thing was covered up on top with the foil, would it float with the same voltage? What if they used the same material as coat hangers for the frame instead of wood? What other sources of electricity could be used to levitate something like that if it were used for F-Zero machines?
