Deploy Posted April 9, 2011 Author Share Posted April 9, 2011 Today is gonna be a weird day. My parents are divorced, and my mom is getting re-married. My mom and her soon-to-be-husband are thinking highly of moving to California for more opportunity for jobs and what not, since they are both unemployed. (Which is obviously NOT a good thing). I REALLY want to go with them because; 1. Better opportunity to learn more for what I like. 2. I could probably make more friends easier (I only have 1 good friend here in NH... and he lives in MA :blink: ). 3. A good bit easier to get my first job. 4. There are many people we know and love over there that I really miss. 5. The weather is 100% better over there. 6. I was born there and lived there for 4 years, so I feel strongly for the place. 7. Arnold Schwarzenegger is the governor! (Just kidding about this one lol) And there are probably more reasons I can't think of now. But... my dad is 110% against it, and we don't even know for sure if we'd move to CA, but today, we're gonna talk to him and try to convince him why moving to CA is a good idea... ugh... here we go... Wish me luck. I don't want to be stuck here is boring, old New Hampshire... Or separated from my mom OR dad for a long period of time....
