Time will show if this one gets anywhere. Too early to say a lot about it, so I'll give you the link and let you make up your own mind about it.

Yeah, I saw this on Arwing Landing a couple of months ago. Thought it was dead, but I see it has a new update in March. :D

My god...I love you Asper...THANK YOU FOR FINDING THIS! MY LIFE HAS MEANING AGAIN!

*Hugs Asper*

*Gets Bitch slapped by Asper*

Hmm,I'm contempating about making a Crysis (1 or 2) mod featuring Krystal...because she's the most readily available Character model out of the StarFox characters right now. But seriously I want to make a Crysis StarFox mod.

I hate to sound like a pessimist, but seeing the fate of most Star Fox fan games or mods recently, I won't hold my breath.

But that doesn't mean that I don't think this is a good idea. And it's DEFINITELY nice to see the old SNES comics getting some love! :D

Well, at least it's good to see that -some- form of Flyable vehicle can be made for the engine without having to integrate lua. Though it seems FAR from done... :/

When you create a new HL2 mod, you get the engine's source code and a MS Visual Studio SLN file. Why implement a scripting language when you have the source code to modify? Source is written in C++. C++ is vastly more powerful than lua.

If anything, All StarFox Characters should be on AT LEAST Garry's Mod.

I don't know...I only saw Fox and Krystal on the list. I didn't see Falco, Peppy or Slippy...I'll have to look in one of my Gmod files.

This sounds really interesting.

While I, like other people here, won't be holding my breath over it, I'll be keeping an eye for it. (:

Hey, I see you've found our mod. That's probably the first time it gets noticed somewhere I didn't post about it : )

By the way we're not dead at all, it's just that I write the news and I've been pretty busy. And many on the team are having their final exams, projects, and etc.. But I try to write one news post per month at least.

Anyways, I'm glad you guys seems to like the concept.

Looks pretty nice, hopefully it won't get cancelled since I personally liked HL:E2

I'm glad you like. I don't want to ruin you enthusiasm, but, the end result probably won't have anything to do with HL2 or EP2. We're really aiming at recreating the gameplay from the StarFox games, while still adding a few new things.

And having access to most of the code makes this all possible.

I hate to sound like a pessimist, but seeing the fate of most Star Fox fan games or mods recently, I won't hold my breath.

Recently, you mean with Kursed, and Shadows of Lylat ?

Sorry, but isn't it pretty pessimistic coming from someone who works on a sf fan game ? : P

Hopefully, I'm not the only one who likes the old comics. : )

Well said : )

And lua is also vastly slower than C++.

so Only Fox :fox: & Krystal :krystal:  Hmm, I think Garry need to add all of them. Think of all the Sh*tty videos that would be posted to youtube if there was . Still there should be more characters.
