Star Fox Adventures box art

After extensive analysis of the SF Adventures box art I have found something that disturbs me.

Anyone notice what Slippy is staring at? I can't believe Nintendo would allow this. Also, why is Fox using Krystal's staff and not the other way around? SFAdv booklet says that Fox is skilled in Martial arts. And why is Peppy only armed with a torch? I'm pretty sure Peppy alone along with that staff could kick those Sharpclaw's asses and Scales ass too. Then Slippy armed with a screw driver? Pfft, I doubt that thing could kill a Sharpclaw much less penetrate its shield. I'm not quite sure why Krystal is here, she appears in like 5% of the game therefore she should be on the box art? If that's the case, why not put King Earthwalker on there? He actually did something. I guess she's just there for eye candy, so useless as usual.

That Krystal is completely useless other than for eyecandy? I've known that for a long time now, I'm just saying she doesn't need to be on the box art. Other characters were in the game and actually contributed to Fox's adventure. Krystal is not one of them. She returned one Krozoa spirit to the Krozoa Palace? Big deal. Fox could have done that in like 5 minutes and not have gotten trapped for the whole game. It instead took 20 minutes, not to mention she got stuck in a crystal and had to be rescued. She's just a marketing strategy to get what few straight furries the Furry Fandom has to go out and buy the game. It worked too. And as a consequence, scarred Star Fox permanently. She needed to get introduced into the SF series a little less sluttier and a little more interesting.

One good thing that did come out of all this though is that Krystal angered a lot of gay furries. Which you already know make up 95% of the fandom, but that's beside the point. Anyone who hasn't familiarized themselves with Dermot should do so.

Peppy holding a torch feels like a metaphor. As in, he’s bringing light into the darkness, guiding your way through uncharted places. Just like he does in the game. Remember that he’s providing map-analysis and whatnot.

Everything else is pretty much self-explanatory, I’d say.

Yeah, but there's a lot of light coming from Fox's staff. Also, there is a huge aura of light coming from that Ocean force point temple thing in the background. Even if those weren't there, they could have just used one of those Firefly things that fly above your head, that would give Peppy both his hands for use for complete badassery.

She sucks. She's useless. She's partly to blame for the series' decline. She makes decisions about as dumb as Adam Malkovich of Other M shame. She's tarnished the series by pegging it as "That Nintendo game that made thousands of furries" and above all, she tries to put drama in a game known for terrible writing. it's awkward, headache inducing, and shouldn't be messed with without trying to make the series as a whole more serious. Compare to Katt in 64 for "romance" that works in StarFox style.

She has enough merit. I mean...for one, using reverse psychology will not work here because we all know how you are FoXXX and how crazy you are for her. Secondly, you actually get to play as Krystal, which can't be said for the other characters except Fox. This is more than enough for her to be on the front cover.

This is Star Fox. STAR FOX. It doesn't need sex appeal or mystery. It's cheesily written anthro action with pewpew guns and explosions. Not only that, but the writers behind SF are not fucking Stephen King or any other good writer like that; some of their notable works include "Jeez Louise, what is THAT?" and "Sorry to jet, but I'm in a hurry!" If they want to add sex appeal and mystery, they need to work first on being better at writing in general.

First, learn to recognize hyperbole when it's being used for comical effect. Second, how is that anywhere near as bad as thinking those other things? And for that matter, where the fuck did you hear that blacks are violent extremists? I've never heard that one; it's usually Muslims that people think that about, as far as I'm aware.

Yeah, you don't have to make games or game characters to know what's good and what's not. We don't make games, and we still know that Krystal just isn't good. She adds nothing that should be there and she takes away a lot of what made Star Fox any good. And lol@ implying liking Charlie Sheen is a bad thing. Technically, it isn't a hack. It's a fangame running off of a similar engine, but the coding and such is all original as far as I know.

This is false. I have been a part of this fandom long enough to guess on the top of my head that 95% of the fandom is gay. Now, 95% may not be 100% accurate, but it's close enough. Still don't believe me? Lurk FurAffinity's forums and view more furry art. I don't know about Japanese people being afraid of Western media, but I can say that I've met many fine black people before and I don't judge a group of people off the actions of a few. Inherently? Nothing. The problem comes in when they try to add it, with no precedence at all, to a game that has been up until that point about space animal heads flying spaceships and blowing up bosses while spouting cheesy dialogue. The second problem comes from...

This attitude. First off, I would like to point out that this series was originally rated K-A, meaning it was aimed towards Kids to Adults. Teens do fall under this market, but so do 5 year olds. Second, this sort of attitude, this belief that it takes sex appeal, or gore, or a deep, involved plot, or any other shit like that to make a game, show, book, or anything else good is just bogus. It takes a certain amount of skill to make things like that good, and as I've already stated, Star Fox has never been known for good writing. It was perfectly fine as a K-A rated, cheesy action game, and it certainly would have done well in sales if they had focused on making the game good instead of trying to make the story edgy and shit.

I assume you're referencing Conker's Bad Fur Day? Well, I don't know much about its history before that game, but I do know that that game was rated M. I know very little else about it, and I question the relevance of bringing it up in this topic at all. This topic is about Star Fox. As far as I can see, this is a feeble attempt to make me look bad and try and get away with not answering any of the legit points that FoXXX and I have made.
