Sabre
Not sure if this should be it's own thread or not. Anyway, giantbomb has put up a thing about using a 3DS for 2 days in real world conditions as well as info on the home menu. http://www.giantbomb.com/news/48-hours-with-nintendo-3ds/2989/ For those who don't want to read it, the highlights are this. 1- The 3D headaches, motion sickness and eyestrain some reported wear off after you have gotten used to it. 2- The 3DS has a pedomitor that awards coins every 100 steps that you can spend on in game tat. 3- The system has a Xbox Live style dashboard (home menu) with a notebook and friends list. 4- The machine also works as a MP3 player, and keeps your playlists that can be shared with your 3DS friends 5- Loads of minor things streamlined and working including good online play. 6- A Mii dungeon crawler game gives you something to do with all the coins and friend cards you gain from streetpass There are 2 issues 1- Battery Life is very short, esp if you are using streetpass mode. 2- Some of the default built in games are crap. sjrathbun812
If I can, I still think I'll get it. And not just for SF64 3DS. This looks cool. I'm looking forward to the day I can get it. If I get it that is. 300 bucks isn't very cheep for a kid like me. Or for anyone for that matter...I think. Ah well.
DoctorAllosaurus
I'm still waiting for something impressive, so no purchase until it gets what I'm looking for.

Guest Mr. Nintendo
I wish I could buy Dead or Alive: Dimensions but it doesn't come out until May... I'm still getting my 3DS.
Fureox
1- The 3D headaches, motion sickness and eyestrain some reported wear off after you have gotten used to it. I've been wondering about this. I hope they're right.
Deploy
I'm sure I won't have much problem with eye strain with the 3D. I've watched a good amount of 3D films and have been fine. And "No Glasses" equals AWESOME in my book... waering two pairs of glasses for seeing and for 3D isn't fun... :|
Fureox
I've watched a good amount of 3D films and have been fine. Well, I'm sure the game will suck you in for longer than 2 hours now and then.
CrypticQuery
If I do take the plunge for a 3DS it will probably be around June/July when a large amount of Nintendo first-party games are being released. The only thing that is driving the purchase now though is the ultra-cool looking augmented-reality and SF643D. I wonder how the NGP will do; if the lineup is good then I might grab one of those instead :)
