Fluxy
So, in the past three days, I have been in some pretty offensive conversations by people, and even some people here you would never see being offensive to someone like me. Anywho, I wanna ask you, when it comes to either you, or the fact your a furry, what offends you? Also, I agree the right to speech and all that, but no starting arguments please, and let's try to keep this serious, please. I want this to be something to be heard, so we can gain some type of common respect as a community. Some people I know will easily know why I am doing this, so please. Deploy
Anything when a person is hating or putting down someone they don't even know personally (or even know personally) because they have a different opinion is offensive in my eyes. Milkyway64
Blind idiotic, particularly those that are meant to be taken totally seriously without any sort of thought behind them. Doubly so if they're furries who can't accept that they and the things they like aren't completely divine to everyone in the universe.

Sabre
I don't offend easy. Feel free to speak your mind. The only thing that really offends me is deception, lying, ect. For example. I would rather be told "I don't want to hang around with you because you smell" because I can then get a wash, or be told "I don't want to hang out because I'm with my other friends atm" rather then lied to with something like "Oh, I can't hang out because I'm walking the dog". Fira-Astrali
but how do you know that they aren't walking the dog? Or better yet, call them out and ask if you can come with them for the walk! At this point, not much offends me. in the last two years my way of thinking has be completely destroyed and rebuilt about 3 or 4 times, and it took another blow last night. At this point, i have to evaluate where the person is coming from before i can decided whether im offended or not. But for the most part... stupid ppl offend me. And ppl that pretend to be stupid, because it will make them popular or at least less unpopular
Arashikage
It offends me when uninformed, biased people try to bash a person/organization or what have you, and people actually believe and follow them. Then the good person or good people who run said organization are down that many friends or members. I also hate blind hatred, when people begin to hate someone for no reason whatsoever, it's not right at all, I don't understand it and it's offensive and rude. It also offends me when little tiny things that really mean nothing at all are blown up into these massive issues that are more about pride and not losing than they are about the original subject. I guess those are what offend me most.

Samantha Weltzin
I almost never get offended. Ticked off? Yes. Offended? Not so much. The way I see it, getting offended either means that they're right about what they said, in which case you should go fix it, or you have some sort of irrational sensibilities without any real grounds for causing offense. Call me practical, I guess.

For example, a christian orginization is going to be biased in favour of god should the topic turn up. Nope.
I don't get it I think he get offended because, well, "Do not disturb", even if unintentionally, sounds like "I don't give a fuck about what you're saying or what you're thinking, just leave me alone.". Everything depends on how you interprete it.

Sabre
I know that, but as I said, it depends on how you interprete it. By that logic you can interprete anything however you want. "Can I have this cake?" "No" "No means yes" eats cake
Nope.
By that logic you can interprete anything however you want. "Can I have this cake?" "No" "No means yes" eats cake Not really. I perfectly understand what you mean, but that's different. [capt.obvious]"No" is the opposite of "Yes"[/capt.obvious], so, if it's not sarcastic, you will never interprete a "No" as a "Yes". "Do not disturb", instead, is not the opposite of "I don't give a etc etc...". Those two ideas don't go in conflict like "No" and "Yes" do, so you can actually link them together pretty easily. Not in the slightest. If anything, he's letting you know he wants to be left alone rather then just letting you stand there waiting to enter. "No" "No means yes" eats cake Seems to match my logic, provided I'm eating the cake. I try not to take offense, I'm of the opinion taking offense is foolish, for what does taking offense do other then make you feel bad/ make everyone around you feel bad because you feel bad.
