Um....

That's not true lol

Was a joke son.

But seriously Starfox 2's biggest attraction is the awesomeness of Eladard's soundtrack.

that would just be boring Mr.nintendo. IF it only has better graphics then theres no point in buying that game, it would only be a waste of money. Ive also heard that there wont be online for Star fox 64 3D only Local vs mode.

That part about the multiplayer better not be true. First off, (here's why I don't think it makes any sence to do so) SFC had online multiplayer. We would be looking at Nintendo taking a step backwards with the series.

And it really wouldn't make sence to put Dinosaur Planet in the game because if I recall, SFA said the planet was at the very edge of the Lylat System, thus making it improbable that the SF team would have to go all the way across the System and back again to Venom. If they change the possition of the planet to place it somewhere near one of the Sectors, then they'd really be messing with the canon.

I remember when the original DS came out and I was excited to find SMDS had a multiplayer mode, only to find that it was limited to "oh, you don't have the game, ok DS download" which didn't make sence to me. Why can't I play multiplay LAN with someone who actually has the game?

In any case, i can see what you mean about it not being implemented properly. (Remember how you used to connect GameBoy's to each other via a directly connected wired network?) I thought wireless was the next great leap in gaming. Then reality sets in and we have to deal with lag...

I think Nintendo has an idea of what they want to implement or are planning to implement.

Look at the Wireless portion of

Yes, that is the first-look at features from before 3DS was released...

I was reading a Game stop magazine, I went to the 3DS section and it said that Star Fox 64 3D will only have Local Vs. mode.

I agree with this...

It's probably online play and updated graphics. Trust me, I would NOT want to see anymore new planets after Adventures, Sauria is fine...but please NOT another planet.

To a certain extent. I don't think that there's to many planets, I think they need to stay true to the original game if they're remaking it.

1. We don't need new main story planets.

2. We could use some cool bonus planets or something. :)

3. We DEFINITELY needs new multiplayer maps.

Side quest planets might be cool.

I agree, they don't have to be related to the main story... in fact I probably wouldn't mind if those side quests or extra levels were non-canon missions added just for fun (as long as they don't interfere with the original story and paths of SF64, of course).

But's that's only an excuse for them to create a "Play as SW" level Just.For.Fun. I would like the option to use SW in Multiplayer (which will continue to be fun after you unlock all the unlockables). But for the meantime...*turns on Gamecube, inserts Assault disk*

That reminds me, they should add CPU AI opponents for multiplayer, for when you don't really have MULTIPLE-players to play the game with.

I sure hope "Jo Jo" here read wrong information.

GameStop magazine? Since when does Gamestop know what they're doing?

~The next year~ *Picks up a copy of SF64 and 3DS*

"Yeah, i could go into Story to look at the visuals...or I could destroy some opponents o..on...line??? NOOOOOOO!!!!!"

Well, a guy at the arwinglanding forums said he read on a German website that "you can choose the planets instead of being forced playing all Routes again and again, there will be an online-mode and a few changes for the VS Mode."

That sounds pretty good if you ask me, but for the time being it can only be considered a rumor.

Lets just hope that Star Fox 64 3D has online Vs mode. Ok maybe we dont need to see new planets, but i would like to see something differnt in this remake. Remeber when nintendo made a remake for Super mario 64 for the ds, it had new levels and a new vs mode.
