Help with my series

ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987

Recommended Posts

For those of you who don't remember, I'm working on my own animated series, G-Byking, about a team of hoverbike racers in the 2130s who also fight crime. I have some questions I need to ask you about how I can fix certain problems I've run into with the series.

What if the rider is blown off the bike?

32+Ivan+Tanziora+Ridon+Hovering+vehicle.

I was thinking of keeping the bikes at a design similar to this picture, but would it protect the rider? G-Bykes go over 700 km/h. I know it could protect him from the wind, but what about wind from the side where he's not protected? So far all I can think of to protect the rider with is a sort of suit of armor, but would that work?

Are they still motorcycles, or are they something else?

The definition of "motorcycle" is "Two-wheeled motor vehicle.". I was thinking of having the wheels replaced with turbine jet engines, one aimed downwards to levitate it, and the other aimed behind the rider to push it forward (They're both aimed downwards when the bike's not moving). So are they still motorcycles? Or are they just motorcycle body-frames with jet turbine levitation devices?

Monsters of the week?

Another thing I was thinking of having in the show was a monster at the end of each episode, a la Power Rangers. These monsters are based on vehicles to go with the racing bike theme. Basically the heroes defeat the monster by exposing it's weakpoint, hitting, and killing it in the process. They fight the monsters in their bikes, so should they be giant monsters? Or more humanoid monsters with personal vehicles?

Can you give me ideas of what to do regarding the problems I listed above? Feedback would be much appreciate. ^^

On point 2, I'd say that they are hoverbikes.

On point 3, I'd just straight up jack Power Ranger's monster style, start off humanoid, then when almost beaten, grow huge :D

On point 1, I'd say have them wear futuristic biker gear and say it has extra-protective qualities.

Just my POV, hope this helps! :friends:

What do you mean by extra-protective qualities?

I don't think I'd make them grow gigantic.

What's your definition of "hoverbike"?

1. Just say that in the story the suits your characters wear are like technologically advanced

2. Your choice my friend! :)

3. Er, I guess what you wrote? k_e_animesweat.gif

Sounds cool dude! k_e_smile.gif

A new problem with the series I've encountered: Assuming G-Bykes wouldn't be street legal, but the heroes fight the villains' monsters outside races, how will I be able to keep the racing motif in the fighting without G-Bykes being street legal? Should they make an exception and use their bikes against the monsters regardless?

Yeah, I'd say make an exception.

The heroes need their gear afterall! k_e_smile.gif

But, you should maybe have them wear like helmets that obscure who they are.

OR

Have it be known who the heroes are and so it is just allowed for them to use the G-Bykes to comabt evil

This series sounds awesome dude! :D

I've been thinking about what would be a BELIEVABLE method for G-Bykes to hover. What if they were built something like this?:

Ooohh, that looks cool :D

And I notice you said you'd slim-line it more, which is all I had to suggest. k_e_nod.gif

That's not my design. I used it as an example.

What I just came up with is a combination of a harrier jet and a motorcycle. I'll have a preview of it up soon.
