Fedora Posted July 14, 2011 Share Posted July 14, 2011 Hmmm.... Is there a reason for my nickname? Why yes, yes there is. In real life, I like hats. Ask anyone who knows me in RL, I. LIKE. HATS. The fedora is one of my favorite kinds of hat. It's sophiscated without being dressy. It's a man's hat (mostly) as seen in noir and movies. And.... it's also a slight allusion to my ability with computers. I've been around computers due to my Dad and been raised with a mouse in my hand and eyeballs glued to the screen. Honestly, I'm not of particular talent with computers, but I know much more than the average person and have played tech support for my friends. Anyways, the allusion is to the Fedora OS based on Linux. Honestly, I chose Fedora for the hat but someone actually thought I was using Fedora OS and told me to use another Linux OS.
