Methinks you should have thought a head and inserted a "Both" option... ;)

That would have really altered the poll standings from what they are now, believe me.

well, i would prbly say that Sf is more for the lads than gals but their are things in it that would apeal to a girl like krystal or that the game is played by Animals but i wouldn't realy now about what girls like about the game.

I voted girls, Starfox was pretty much a sauage-fest, until Krystal showed up. I know Katt was there in 64, and Faye and Miyu were supposed to be in SF2. Still though! More females are needed to balance out the cast.

I'm going to have to go with boys. I mean, more guys play video games then girls do (Not to say we don't :D). Also, the game itself is shooting enemies, blowing up stuff, etc. something that's usually associated with boys more (lol). So, to me, it would make sense that Nintendo made Starfox with a "young male" audience in mind. However, I think it's one of those games that happens to be fun for everyone. :)

Starfox is a game for both. Most of the games out there are really for both but there are exceptions like there are Barbie video games for girls only obiviously, unless there are very "girlish" type boys out there that buy it O.o.

... "Very girlish boys" would have to be looked at with one outlook. Not even going to say it because I don't want to start a war.

And yes, guys like me like destruction, death, and pillage! :?

*cough* I mean, and romance.*cough*

last one was a joke, not really but it was... not really though

I'd definitely have to say the target is boys. At least, stereotypically, boys like explosions, sci-fi, and guns. There are girls who like it, probably more than I think so, but I'd have to say that it's AIMED at boys.

wouldn't say that, all I've ever seen is the Krystal ones but it's neither her enor there for me, it happens in nearly every game that has a "cute" char. whether it's male or female it's probably gonna happen..

Starfox is for just about anyone, no matter what Gender because it's too awesome. It can even be for non furries, I have many friends who are nto furs and they like starfox. so, it don;t matter the gender or whatever, Starfox is for whoever likes it. And For the record, Krystal and Fox are HAWT!

It can be for any gender really, it all depends on the game. For example if nintendo made a game about krystel then girls would favor it. Now if it was more falco, peppy, foxish then there would be for the boys. Now if it was slippy nobody would buy the game.

I think starfox is for both. I never got the impression it was made for a certain gender. Now Lizzie Mcguire for Gameboy advance is an obvious male-oriented game.

Heheh, that's funny. I guess I'm a bit of a hypocrite...If I saw a fanboy acting that way for Krystal, I'd be somewhat creeped out. Yet if I saw a Fox fangirl acting that way, I'd probably laugh.

But he IS a cutie, that's one thing they do have right >.>;

Well, from my experience...I've only met maybe one girl who's acting in such a manner, but for the most part, his fans are a bit...calmer. Now Falco fangirls, hoo boy, that's a completely different story! XP

I've actually come across some Fox and/or Falco fanboys, so...yeah...heheh.

Steve9, those are without a doubt some of the BEST individual fanarts for those two. Nearly perfect, if I do say so msyelf.

Now, this is an interesting question...I've met a decent amount of girls who like the games. However, I've noticed quite a bit of them like the comic, with Fara and all, so maybe the newer games aren't quite as enjoyable for them. And Krystal seems to be more popular than I once percieved...Plus, games in general are directed at boys, right? The game girls you see on TV are either into Sims, DDR, or Halo...I personally hate all of those.

If it had to be one or the other, I'd have to say boys, but I don't see why both can't enjoy them. What girl can resist cute fuzzy anthropomorphic animals, anyway?

I actually think it leads toward boys because of the violence level, and because of Krystal. But it also has some things that make me reconsider.
