Xortberg
Vydrach and I think very much alike, it seems. That episode made Rarity and AJ look like total bitches before they ever really had a chance to prove otherwise since it came so early in the season. The only redeeming quality was how utterly adorkable Twi was.
TekkDan
Ok, so I finally managed to read through all 71 pages on this topic (not that I had to... just thought it would be better for me to have a general idea of what's going on here before I made a reply). Anyway though, I became interested in this show a couple of months ago, and words can not describe how awesome I think it is. Unfortunately real life keeps getting in the way, otherwise I would be much more involved in the FiM community, (or at least try to be). Oh well, better late to the party than never I suppose. :)

TekkDan
So yeah, "Welcome to the herd"...and SFO of course since you are new around here. Thanks , yeah I haven't been on SFO for a little bit, but I'm gonna try to post more often. So... has anyone here heard about the FiM trading cards? I'm guessing they just came out or something? I'm completely clueless about it. I'm thinking about buying some the next time I go to a store if I see them, although I have no idea what the heck I'm gonna do with them afterwards. I know that your supposed to collect and trade them since they are trading cards, but it just seems kinda odd to me, especially when its very unlikely that you'll find someone else that has cards for it too. Sorry, just haven't had a whole lot of experience with trading cards. I think I'll just have to change that though. *Puts evil grin on face and rubs hoofs together*

Gestalt
I SAID ENJOY IT! Hey, in your opinion, which is the weakest episode so far? Sigh, brony intellectual time yet again…I’ll be brief. S2 E10 “Secret of My Excess†Spike was not the one who needed to learn the lesson in that episode IMO. We learn that horde keeping is part of his genetics. And you know what? Princess Celestia probably should have warned Twalot of a dragon’s nature before agreeing to let her star pupil keep a baby dragon. It ‘s metamorphosis, and so you cannot dish out all the blame on him. Now Rarity took too much of an advantage of Spike for her personal gain. In the end, maybe instead Rarity could have recognized her mishap. But instead, she continually plays spike like a fiddle. Meh. Perhaps I’m over analyzing this one. But this one. S2 E21 [insert episode title] I only cared to watch once. It’s the episode where Spike goes on a journey to discover his heritage. Chop this episode up into individual clips…and its quite a fun ride, but as a single episode, to me, it was unfinished. They tried to tackle one to many issues. What is manly? Where did I come? Should I succumb to bullying? Should I fight for what is right? This remains the only episode that has ever let me down. Where did I come from? was all I was hoping to be expounded upon here. Maybe actually meet an Elder dragon or something of that nature. In truth, I’m just way too critical of character development for Spike.
Vy'drach
I'll add an adendum to my "Weakest Episode" choice. I also find "Putting Your Hoof Down" weak past face value. It's an enjoyable episode, but when you start to realize the undertones of the episode, it doesn't really belong in FiM. It has characters trying to bamboozle other characters out of their bits. There's of course the cherry vendor who rose the price of the cherry astronomically when he knew that Fluttershy needed it, but also Pinkie using what is assuredly a tried and true system for her to get better deals, and Rarity using her feminine wiles to convince someone to part with his asparagus (though he wasn't out anything as she reimbursed his bit, but it's still not really a good message that it's possible to flirt someone into a corner). And with Pinkie and the tomatoe vendor, the tomatoe vendor was in the right with her price. She may of been selling them for more than last time, but she clearly had a sign that said tomatoes = 2 bits, which I reckon she and/or her family grew them, and like the Apple Family and AJ, she came into town to sell them. The tomatoes may of been 2 bits, but that's not some astronomical price it seems, as AJ charged Soarin 2 bits for his pie, and while he may be a bit more well-off as a Wonderbolt, I doubt 2 bits is a generally unreasonable price for the pie or tomatoe. All Pinkie did was bamboozle the vendor out of her clearly advertised and entitled price. And then they all had a good laugh about it. Granted the main message was about being assertive without making an ass of yourself, but there was the lesser message of people will try to take advantage of you, and you'll have to deal with it some how. Which that's true and it's fine and dandy to teach kids about that, but not by making it out to be a normal, every-day occurence by the citizens of Ponyville and making members of the Mane Six do it as well. That's not how you do it, and it goes against the very grain of the show. It was still an enjoyable episode, but there's that matter, and there was a review I saw a while ago that I can no longer find that put it more eloquently. It was an episode that turned Ponyville into a town of rude, inconsiderate cheats. Poor Celestia, she just wanted her cake. I mean, look what happened last time she got it, after waiting years. Xidphel
From the mlpforums (Written in the style of a Cracked article.) Well, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a great show, no doubt, and they've managed to build an expansive and downright adorable world. But should you just pack up your bindlestiff and catch the first interdimensional train to Equestria? Let me stop you right there and give you some reasons why becoming a cartoon pony isn't quite as glamorous as you might think at first. 5. You could be an earth pony. Of course, somebody's going to jump up and say that it would be fine to be an earth pony. After all, they live in a magical world, just the same as the rest of them. They get friends and they can seek out magic, and they are faster and stronger, with a deep connection to the ground. And it's true: earth ponies have great lives, and are allowed to enjoy all these things. But they've lived with this all their lives. I mean, do you thing there was never a point where Applejack looked up at Rainbow Dash and said "Man, I wish I could fly?" (Add kitschy Southern accent to taste.) But they realized it wasn't for them, and got over it. As far as we can tell, that is, because they never mention it in the show. It's entirely possible every single day Pinkie Pie wishes she could do magic, just hides it to avoid conflict. But, for a newcomer into Equestria, it would be nigh impossible to adapt. Every day, toddling along the ground looking up at a pegasi pony who can zoom across the sky at speeds faster than sound? Having to take out the trash with your mouth while a unicorn can levitate it easily? WITH YOUR MOUTH? Eww.... gross. Just think of all the things you pick up on a daily basis, and how many of them you don't want anywhere near your mouth. Of course, you could argue that you wouldn't be an Earth pony for any number of reasons, but in the end, it pales in comparison to the fact that you could have to pick up things with your mouth. 4. Ponyville is the only happy place. Okay, remember the couple of scenes we've gotten in Canterlot? What's the general feel? In "Becoming Popular", Rarity sees a LOT of the "in-crowd". And what are they? Sycophantic, pathetic people who follow two or three ponies to an obsessive degree. They change opinions on the spot whenever Rarity or Fancy Pants decide they like or dislike something. Do you think Fancy Pants is happy? He's so stuck in this rut that a single pony shows up with some new ideas, and he brings her into his inner circle without any hesitation at all. It's because she's the only one has any opinion of her own! When he calls her friends "charmingly rustic", what he's really saying is that they don't bow to his every whim and thought. For all we know, everything that Canterlot is based off could be the thoughts of this single pony! And in other cities, it appears to be just the same. In Manehattan, all the ponies are expected to act the same, with major repercussions for Applejack mentioning a rooster. That's right, these ponies are so stuck in their ways that they are freaked out by a pony mentioning a bird they hadn't heard of. Of course, it could only be in the large cities where this happens. Y'know, where most of them would live. After all, the relatively tiny burg of Ponyville seems happy. When they're not being attacked by whatever threat this big nasty world. Which leads us to... 3. You're not the dominant species. We've seen some pretty nasty beasties in the show. Manticores, hydras, dragons, an eldritch god of chaos, quickly multiplying forces that devour every available foodsource for miles around, and whatever ungodly terror Twist is supposed to be. *shudder* But that's not all. Whenever there exists a pony with half a brain and malintent, they can apparently just go around twisting the other poneis around their fingers. Flim and Flam were able to nearly run the Apple Family out of business by manipulating the ponies of Ponyville. Trixie said she took down an Ursa Major, and everyone just stopped and believed her. No asking for evidence, no querying "How?" They just blindly accept that she did it, and move on with her life, which is allowing a pathetic showgirl show them up at everything their good at. More than that, these ponies seem to have no natural defenses against anything. Well, scratch that, they have a few ponies as their natural defenses. Let's look at the Parasprite incident. The Parapsrites just eat and eat and eat to no end, and what do most ponies do? Panic. That's all they do. Well, I think the Mayor orders Twilight Sparkle to do something, but that's about it. So the Mane 6 (okay, Pinkie) set out to, and eventually solve the problem. One pony saves the entire town, with just about no help. The Aesop shouldn't have been "Trust your friends and believe in them" it should have been "Get off your flanks and do something to help." That's not it, though. Applejack stopping the stampede. Fluttershy defeating the dragon. Heck, just the "Mysterious Mare Do Well" episode in general. If you take out the Mane 6, 6 young adult mares who have their own issues, Ponyville is seriously doomed. Not to mention the rest of Equestria, too. 2. Weird pony biology. I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that if you're reading this, you're human or at least some related species. That being such, you probably have struggled all your life with human biology. The psychological impulses built in, the unique group psychology, hands (trust me, Lyra, they're not all that they're Cracked up to be). Now take your body, and take it away. Then shove it into a body you've never deal with before. New muscles, new appendages, heck, even your organs wouldn't function the same way. Social customs would be brand-new, because they are based off of pony psychology, something which you probably haven't studied in depth. If you have, you don't have a lot to do with your life, and you should feel bad. And, their civilization is completely unique from ours. You might not realize it, but everything you've lived with his been the results of millions of people making mistakes and learning from them. If you take that out and replace that, you've got a lot to learn before you can even start talking to the people without appearing to be a complete and total freak. You know that feeling where you offer to shake someone's hand and they just stare at it, the complete, refined, pure awkward that appears? Imagine that every day for years on end before you master basic pony to pony interactions. The point I'm making is that humans have problems, but they're problems we've spent our entire lives dealing with. We shouldn't want to trade them away for a completely new set, but that's my last point. 1. It's just another world. I'm about to get a little bit preachy, but bear with me, because what I'm saying is good. We live in a world. It's not perfect, but its got its upsides. Now, we are all probably social outcasts here, and see only the crap the sometimes comes along with it, but I think that the main difference we get, in the end, is perspective. We can look at the show and see a society where the decadent are taking over, they all have to worship a dictator without whom they wouldn't have a cycle of day and night, and all the ponies would die without a select few. But we don't. We see a happy place where there are friends and interesting things happen and everyone tries to love each other. But that's our world, too. In our world, there are friends, and interesting things do happen all the time, and (believe it or not) most people have the best of intentions at heart, even if they can cause issues from time to time. If we were to grow up in Equestria, and avoid all the issues I listed above, or at least be able to ignore them, then it wouldn't make us any happier. Our world-view is not based upon our world, it's based upon ourselves. If you are sad, it's not because the universe is making you sad, its because there are things that are causing you pain. In the pony world, they would be different, but they would be there. The ponies have their own psychological problems, just not ones there are continuously focused on, because in the end, its not important. What's important is that through the power of friendship, they can overcome these things. But that's true in real life, too. I still love the show. It's a great show, and has lead me to some great friends and really cool people. But it's just stupid to say that you'd rather live in another world, when they have just the same amount of problems we do. After all, we're not ponies. We're human beings, and that's all right. Great article. Also, here's something a user said: Hmmm, valid points, but being a pony could STILL be better than being human. I mean, they are a peaceful species. Do they want a war with each other? No. Humans just fight. Let's look back at Hearts Warming Eve: the play showed that before Pinkie got her Cutie Mark Equestria was made, the kingdom of Earth ponies, Unicorn and pegasuseseses were at odds with each other. Not much was shown but wouldn't be surprising if violence erupted between the 3 kingdoms. Then, in season 1, there WAS a war: Appleloozians vs Buffalos. Only weapons were pies but it still counted as a war. Finally, the Royal Canterlot Wedding incident in which CANTERLOT WAS INVADED! Also, since the mane 6 were separated from the elements, they had to FIGHT BACK! PHYSICALLY! There are other incidents which were only mentioned but not shown like Nightmare Night and Discord. Common sense can be used here and suggest that they fought back. Speaking of Nightmare Night, remember when Nightmare Moon returned in episode 1? The guards were about to attack when they were knocked back.

Vy'drach
Got my box of 30 packs of trading cards, and I opened them all. I will post pictures, and a description of what the cards say on the back. I will spoiler them because long post will be long, and it'll be in two blocks. Pictures of the cards in a group (individual shots would be a lot of work, but I'll scan cards if anyone is interested in a particular one), and then another spoiler with what the cards say on the back. In between the Elements of Harmony and the row that has The Cakes, Gummy, DJ P0N-3 & Octavia, Queen Chrysalis, and Peewee, these are all foil cards, with Discord and Twilight being gold foils. And foils apparently can have a different picture than nonfoils, as my foil Celestia is in a different pose than the nonfoil. Though that's probably because it's Royal Wedding Celestia. The location cards The episode cards Now then, for the cards themselves. And remember, there's no individual pictures of 'em here. Just the descriptions on the back. And any italics I put are actually from the cards. They'll be quoted as exact as possible. Gold Foil Discord - "With a snap of his fingers, this draconequus can turn Ponyville upside down---literally! The living spirit of disharmony, Discord once plunged Equestria into a state of chaos until Princesses Celestia and Luna turned him to stone. Centuries later he has returned, and it's up to Twilight Sparkle and her friends to use the Elements of Harmony to stop him! Can these six ponies vanquish Discord when his evil magic turns day into night and friends into foes?" Gold Foil Twilight Sparkle - "Twilight Sparkle may be the most magical unicorn in Ponyville, but she'd say, "It's nothing to brag about!" She's studying the magic of friendship for Princess Celestia, and serves as town librarian along with her assistant, Spike. Whether's it's foalsittin', Cutie Pox research, or saving Equestria from being infiltrated by evil forces, Twilight's there to lend a helping hoof! She's also very good at making lists... Spike would say maybe a little too good! Fluttershy - "Fluttershy is very kind, a little shy and self-conscious, and is more comfortable around woodland critters than other ponies. In fact, she can communicate with animals on a different level and can even speak squirrel! Although she may seem timid, she wouldn't hesitate to say, "You DO NOT hurt my friends! You got that?" It may be hard to believe, but Fluttershy has stared down a cockatrice and a dragon and lived to tell the tale!" Cheerilee - "Ask anypony in Cheerilee's class and they'll tell you she is, "Sweet and kind, and the best teacher we could hope for." Cheerilee is Ponyville's school teacher and her Cutie Mark represents the growth she nurtures in each of her students; not to mention the smiles she puts on their faces. Between Hearts and Hooves Day, the class talent show, and field trips to Canterlot's beautiful gardens, school is one bright place to be with Cheerilee at the helm!" Twilight Sparkle - Same as the Gold Foil version. Zecora - "Zecora may seem a bit scary to thee, but she is just a zebra you see. In the Everfree Forest this brave mare lives, and generous assistance is what she gives. Cutie Pox, Parapsrites, or just a chipped tooth, this zebra can probably help, that's the truth! Don't need the cure for a case of Feather Flu? Zecora still offers her friendship to you!" Spike - "Spike has a crush on Rarity (oops-looks like the secret is out!) Spike works at Golden Oaks Library as Twilight Sparkle's #1 assistant, and can use his magical fire breath to send letters to Proncess Celestia and burp up her respones; very efficient, but a little bit gross. This baby dragon has a big appetite, and there's no snack he loves more than a well-aged gem. Spike's a hard worker and good friend, but if he's about to sneeze you better duck and cover!" Rainbow Dash - "Everypony thought that the Sonic Rainboom was just an old mare's tale, but Rainbow Dash proved the legend true! When she's not cloud napping, Dash is often found practicing her daring aerial tricks so that one day she can join the Wonderbolts. Brave and loyal, Dash is also proud and competitive---wouldn't you be if you were the fastest Pegasus around? She's also the only pony in town with her own fan club. Rainbow Dash is definitely super-ultra-extreme-AWESOMEAZING!" Scootaloo - "Scootaloo's no chicken! While she hasn't mastered flying yet, she is a wiz on her scooter, and loves performing daring stunts and showing off to her fellow Cutie Mark Crusader pals, Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom. Scootaloo idolizes Rainbow Dash so much that she even started the Rainbow Dash fan club! Trying out new things is all part of a day in the life of a CMC, even though their antics often end up with Scootaloo covered in tree sap!" The Cakes - "Having a party? Good. Cup Cake and Carrot Cake could use the catering business! This couple proudly owns Ponyville's Sugarcube Corner, the best bakery in town. They just welcomed a pair of adorable baby ponies to their happy home: daughter Pumpkin Cake and son Pound Cake. Did the sweetest family in town just become sweeter, or do the wild pegasus and unicorn powers of these frisky twins mean Ponyville is in for double trouble?" Tank - "Tenacity is a never give up, can-do attitude that's the mark of a real winner, and this tortoise has it! Tank has always wanted to be a pet, but everypony thought that Rainbow Dash would pick a cool, awesome, radical flying animal like a falcom. Tank was able to convince Dash that there's more to picking friends than she realized by saving her from a landslide when no one else would stop to help. You just can't stop that little turtle! tortoise! Whatever." Diamond Tiara & Silver Spoon - "Diamond Tiara is a princess! That's what her dad Filthy Rich says at least, and she's even got a tiara Cutie Mark to prove it. Her best friend Silver Spoon follows her everywhere she goes, and together this duo makes recess a dragon for their classmates, the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Since being fired as editor of the class newspaper, will Diamond Tiara sink to snobby new lows or has she finally learned her lesson?" Owlowiscious - "Who? WHO? Owlowiscious! Spike may be Twilight Sparkle's number one assistant, but he IS just a baby dragon and needs his sleep. At night, Twilight's pet owl Owlowiscious is ready to lend a helping talon as her junior assistant by fetching books, offering up feathers to use as quills, and even on occassion saving Spike from massive rampaging adult dragons! Owlowiscious can also turn his head all the way around to look behind him. Dude, that's creepy." Golden Harvest & Lyra Heartstrings - "There's two in every crowd! Lyra Heartstrings is an excitable pony often seen bouncing and grinning at the back of the herd or lolling in the park sharing bonbons with Golden Harvest, her PFF. Golden Harvest earned the nickname Carrot Top because carrots are always on her mind. These two ponies can be found all over Equestria, enjoying various activities like jumping across rooftops, running from buffalo, and joining in musical numbers!" Angel - "Cutsey? Wootsie? Not this bossy bunny! It might seem like Angel is just Fluttershy's pet, but he's also one of her best friends and her trusted assistant. Sometimes Angel might act spoiled, but he's been known to help Fluttershy speak up when she's being too shy and even acts as her personal trainer when she works out! Fluttershy is never late for very important dates thanks to Angel's trusty pocket watch. (Though where he keeps it is a bit of a mystery.) Apple Bloom - "This plucky filly wants her Cutie Mark RIGHT NOW! Together with her friends, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, the Cutie Mark Crusaders try every activity imaginable to discover their special talents and finally earn their Cutie Marks. When not crusading, Apple Bloom is out helping her big sis Applejack with chores at Sweet Apple Acres, fixing up the CMC clubhouse to perfection, and loop-de-hooping in the schoolyard. Don't be fooled by her ribbon: she is a Big pony!" Cranky Doodle Donkey & Matilda - "This donkey's really bald! Cranky Doodle Donkey traveled Equestria searching for his lost love Matilda, but gave up after many years and retired in Ponyville. Cranky had no use for friends, but Pinkie Pie taught him that sometimes that's exactly what you do need! That pink party pony brought Matilda and Cranky together again, earning the donkey's appreciation and friendship. WARNING: Nopony calls him Doodle! Well, nopony but Matilda..." Philomena - "Philomena is a majestic and magical bird who is prone to bursting into flames! Every so often phoenixes need to shed all their feathers and burn to ash, returning to life moments later, healthy and happy. Philomena is a rather mischievous phoenix, once spending all day tricking Fluttershy into taking care of her. As Princess Celestia's pet, she has a lot of freedome; not everypony can tickle a royal guard on the nose and get away with it!" Braeburn - ""Hey there. Welcome to Appleoosa!" When visiting this deser town, Applejack's cousin Braeburn is happy to show you around. He helped found Appleoosa and planted the huge orchard that keeps the town fed. Braeburn is very proud of how fast the little town has sprouted up. Cute, loud, and hyperactive, Braeburn's a hoot to have around! He might be the most reasonable pony in Appleoosa---just ask Little Strongheart!" Granny Smith - "Granny Smith, the oldest member of the Apple family, holds the secret of how to grow Zap Apples. She takes great pride in the quality of her family's fresh apples and famously delicious cider. Granny Smith might not understand all of those confangled modern doohickeys, but she helped found Ponyville itself! Granny is happy to give the ponies two ears full of amazine horsestory and good horse sense---just don't wake her up from her nap!" Snips & Snails - "Snips and Snails are best friends who share a love for all things awesome! Lucky for them, Ponyville has an abundance of awesomeness between the Great and Powerful Trixie, the mysterious Mare Do Well, and Rainbow Dash! Snips & Snails won the school talent show award together as the S&S Magic Act; but don't ask them who got the better medal at the ceremony. They're seen together so often that ponies say they're attached at the hip---sometimes literally!" Sweetie Belle - "Sweetie Belle wants to grow up to be a fashion designer like her big sister Rarity... but why does that sweater have five legs? Together with Scootaloo and Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle is part of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, who are on a never-ending quest to find their special talents and get their Cutie Marks. Everypony knows that Sweetie's awesome at singing and songwriting, but she doesn't seem to see it in herself---silly filly!" Gummy - "There's an alligator in the tub!? No worries, it's just Gummy! This toothless alligator is the perfect companion for Pinkie Pie, not bothered by anything she does to him, whether it's dressing the gator up in a tuxedo, or taking him on a hot air balloon ride.Despite his blank stare, Gummy does still enjoy playing with yarn, chewing on balloons, and even dancing at parties. He also doesn't mind sharing his favorite punch---after swimming in it. Yummy." DJ Pon-3 & Octavia - "DJ Pon03 and Octavia may both be at the top of their musical games, but their careers are very, very different! You can find Octavia at garden parties and galas performing prim and proper classical music on her cello. On the other hoof, DJ Pon-3 feels at home behind her turntable, laying down sick beats and wearing her trademark sunglasses. Are these two bitter rivals, or are they long time friends? Will they ever perform a duet? Only time will tell!" Prince Blueblood - "Prince Blueblood might be Princess Celestia's nephew, but he's the most uncharming prince you'll ever meet! He see's nothing wrong with spitting out "common carnival" food in public, or forcing his date to use her shawl to cover a puddle so he can cross it. (He's royalty and he STILL expected Rarity to buy his dinner! How uncouth!) You could call Prince Blueblood the most eligible unicorn bachelor in Canterlot, but you'll stop as soon as you meet this royal pain." Princess Celestia - "Princess Celestia uses magic to raise the Sun every morning, runs a school for gifted unicorns, and is the kind ruler of all Equestria. That's one busy pony! From their magnificent castle in Canterlot, Celestia and her sister Luna see to the needs of everypony in the land. She is revered by all of her subjects, but none more than her "faithful student" Twilight Sparkle, who Princess Celestia mentors in the magic of friendship." Mayor Mare & Time Turner - "Would you want to be the mayor of a town that is attacked by parasprites, dragons, and Cerberus, all at the drop of a hat? This Mayor happily serves her citizens, armed with inspirational speeches the likes of which Ponyville has never seen! And who is her official town timekeeper? Time Turner, the pony responsible for keeping Ponyville's clocks in sync, setting the hourglass for cider competitions, and pretty much all things timey-wimey." Winona - "This pup's bark is worse than her bite, but that's because she'd never bite you! Winona is a big help on Sweet Apple Acres, herding sheep, pigs, and cows alike. She's very smart and obeys every order Applejack gives her, even if that means riding a herd of stampeding cattle to save Ponyville! It might seem like she's just a work dog, but if you've ever seen Winona greet Applejack after a long trip you can tell she's just as loved as any other pet in Ponyville." Pinkie Pie - "The silliest pony around, nothing makes this bright pink pony happier than seeing her friends smile-smile-SMILE! Pinkie Pie loves to throw parties, help everypony look on the bright side, and knows that every day is worth celebrating! When she's not making up silly songs and partying, Pinkie loves eating sweets, telling jokes, pulling pranks, making crazy contraptions, and cheerfully chatting everypony's ears off. Pinkie Pie, you're so random!" Applejack - "For this freckle-faced farm gal, nothin's more important than bein' honest and takin' care of yer family. Her tendency to overwork, combined with a stubborn streak sometimes gets her into trouble; but that's nothing her best friends can't help her to fix! While she's a bit rough and tumble, and may not be very good at fancy mathematics, Applejack is friendly and sweet to the core! How do you like them apples, Sugar Cube?" Shining Armor - "Nopony could ask for a better BBBFF---Big Brother Best Friend Forever! Brave and strong, sharing and caring, Shining Armor is the kind of pony Twilight Sparkle is proud to call her brother. Not only that, Shining Armor is the only unicorn that can cast the magical shield spell that protects Canterlot from harm. Engaged to marry Princess Cadance, their beautiful Canterlot wedding should be the best day of his life! So why is Twilight Sparkle trying to stop the ceremony?" Opalescence - "Opalescence is the best dressed pet in Ponyville! Not that her owner Rarity would have it any other way. Opal is quite a quirky cat, sometimes swatting at anypony who gets close and other times enjoying Pony Pet playdates. She has a good excuse to be moody, you might be too if your owner used you as an assistant around Carousel Boutique or dunked you in water to cover up for her fibs! One thing's for sure, no mouse is too big for Opal to try to turn into dinner!" Princess Luna - ""Oh ponyfeathers, is that Nightmare Moon?!" Not anymore, thanks to the Elements of Harmony! It's Princess Luna, who has returned to Canterlot to rule over Equestria with her sister, Princess Celestia. Luna raisest he Moon every evening and fills the night sky with beautiful stars, coments, and constellations. Her manners may seem a little outdated after being away for 1,000 years, but don't be put off. Princess Luna is sincere about winning your love and admiration. Huzzah!" Rarity - ""The society, the culture, the GLAMOUR...Oh, it's where I truly belong...!" - on Canterlot. Rarity is the fashionista of Ponyville and offers her fabulous designs at the Carousel Boutique. She's always appaled at fashion no-no's, and is tireless in her pursuit of making everypony looking simply DARLING! Rarity is a loving sister to Sweetie Belle and one of the most generous ponies in town. But if you commit a crime against fashion or her friends, then "It. Is. ON!"" Queen Chrysalis - Things really get nasty when the fearsome Changeling Queen and her unstoppable army of clones launch a plot against Canterlot and all of Equestria. When facing a changeling in a room of mirrors, who do you trust? Who can you believe? Reigning in the Queen Chrysalis will take all of the magic that true love can muster. NOTE: If you spot somepony throwing Apple Jack's delicious fresh baked goods in the garbage, it's most likely a changeling. Peewee - "Peewee is a baby phoenix being raised by a baby dragon to be a pony! Let's hope he doesn't get too confused by all this. Pewee is the newest addition to the family, living in the Ponyville library as Spike's just-hatched pet. Spike risked his neck to save the little phoenix's egg from a troop of teenage dragons out to have a good time at the expense of others. Will Peewee fit in with his new family? Birds of a feather flock together!" Hoity Toity & Photo Finish - "Two of the biggest fashion hotshots in Equestria, Hoity Toity & Photo Finish are someponies everypony who is anypony should know! Hoity Toity is a harsh fashion critic, always looking for designers to showcase in his best-of-the-best Canterlot boutique, Equestria's fashion photography is ruled by Photo Finish, who searches for the perfect model that will make "THE MAGICS!" Impressing either of these ponies could launch an entire career!" Big Macintosh - "Big Macintosh is the most down-to-earth pony you'll ever meet. Tall, muscular, and strong as a bull on the outside, yet gentle and sweet as a little lamb on the inside. Some say he's the hardest working stallion in Ponyville and can be found bucking apples on Sweet Apple Acres almost every day of the week. Might he be a little bashful, too? Ask Big Macintosh and he'll probably blush as red as his coat and say, "Eeyup."" The Great & Powerful Trixie! - "Could the Great and Powerful Trixie really be the most magical unicorn in all of Equestria? Trixie travels the land, wowing audiences with her dallzing performances, then challenges local ponies with a snooty, "Anything you can do, I can do better!" Trixie's bragging in Ponyville got her cart crushed by an Ursa Minor, but as Twilight said, "Maybe someday she'll learn her lesson." Will she return to Ponyville, and if so, will it be as a friend or a rival?" Sea Serpent - "This Sea Serpent is the most fabulous creature in all of the Everfree Forest! Between his lovely luminescent scales, his expertly coiffed mane, his beautiful mustache, and his magnetic personality, there simply isn't anyone in the forest who can compare. So when half of his mustache is torn clean off and he looks simply horrid, is there anything that could possibly be done? The pony to ask is, of course, Rarity the Unicorn!" The Wonderbolts/Spitfire & Soarin' - "Only the most talented flyers in all of Equestria make it into the Wonderbolts; and the amazing Spitfire is their captain! The Wonderbolts ---Spitfire and Soarin' ---are quick to respond if a pony is falling or a dragon is rampaging through Ponyville (though only Rainbow Dash can claim she once saved three Wonderbolts with a single Sonic Rainboom!) Soarin' is a strong, fast flyer, though someponies joke that his pie eating has set more records than his wings!" Gilda - ""You're dorkin' up the skies, Stinkie Pie." -GILDA TO PINKIE PIE Gilda is a griffon: half-eagle, half-lion, and who thinks she's ALL awesome! Except, things aren't all awesome in Ponyville with this griffon around. Scaring Granny Smith and stealing an apple are both naughty, but when Gilda bullies poor little Fluttershy? Maybe a party can turn Gilda's frown upside-down, because being a bully is just not cool." Mare Do Well & Daring Do - "Mare Do Well might just be the hero Ponyville has always needed. She's strong, fast, always on the scene if there's trouble, she uses magic, and can fly! But whose face really lies behind this mysterious mask? Daring Do is a treasure-hunting pony and the star of Rainbow Dash's favorite book series. Whether escaping crushing walls, a pit of snakes, or a giant rolling boulder, Daring Do is undeniably, unquestionably unstoppable." I'll do the episode and location cards tomorrow. I don't want to develop carpal tunnel tonight. Oh, and also the packs can come with a pop up card instead of a shiny one, and I set up all the unique ones I got. Xortberg
The sea serpent has a magnetic personality. Oh Hasbro. I see wut u did thar. In other news, all of the jelly that I didn't give to Fox when he mentioned being Tara Strong's date is now yours. It's a surprisingly large amount. I figured Fox would've taken it all.
