What makes me sad is that one of the special box top cards, which I got Discord, and can only be gotten from the $60 box set, there is a Queen Chrysalis one, and I wants it.

Okay, kind of a weird question, but hear me out. A lot of bronies have discussed inclusion of various characters from earlier generations in FiM (Tirek, Smooze and Seaponies seem to be the most common). Personally, I think it would be interesting to see how Megan would be characterized by the FiM team. Now, I have seen several topics regarding humans in Equestria in general, but not Megan specifically, so I decided to make a topic about her. I know a lot of people would probably cringe at the idea of a human character in FiM, but if the storytellers do a good job, I think it could make for a very interesting storline.

For those who don't know, Megan was a major character in MLP: Generation One, a young girl who came from a universe outside Ponyland (at least, I think) and befriended the ponies and helped them save their world from Tirek in the first special and returned for several important missions in later episodes and the movie. She is the bearer of the special "Rainbow of Light" which was used to defeat Tirek, Catrina and the Smooze.

In the original special, Megan is perhaps the most developed character. As a kid, I actually liked her as much if not more than the ponies themselves. Because she was the only human on the show at first, I could also relate to her better than to the ponies.

So, what if, somehow, Megan appeared in the FiM universe? How would she interact with the new, better-developed ponies? IMO, since the ponies in FiM are young adults, maybe Megan would be a twenty-something instead of a kid. Perhaps she could be a college student who used to believe in unicorns/magic, but outgrew it and became disillusioned with the world. Maybe she'd be sort of sarcastic, negative, even a bit depressed.

How she would get to Equestria, I have no idea. In the original, Megan was from a world outside that of the ponies, so if she appeared in FiM, this would still probably be the case. I found a few fanarts of FiM style Megan, so I guess I'm not the only one to have this idea.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if Megan were to pop up. She would most likely be one-episode wonder so it wouldn't matter that much. Besides, there's already a pony closer to G1 than any other that I've seen:

Making an episode or two-parter about them would be an interesting idea.

Unfortunately, many people don't agree with me...To those who said that it doesn't feel right, I can understand. To those saying the ponies would freak out, I'm sure there'd be a few curious ones, most of all Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy.

No, it doesn't seem fitting for humans to be in FiM, it ruins the escape from reality FiM offers, and its even dumber to reintroduce G1 characters.

If humans were going to be put into the show then they would have already. But if they were going to come in it would suck I use mlp fim to get the pains of reality off my mind.

Humans on FiM? Oh dear lord, no.. just no. The ponies feel human enough and that's what I like about this series. I will stop watching FiM if humans were to appear in this series.

This is either VERY good news…or VERY bad news. At this point, ask yourself, why? Meghan McCarthy is reportedly still holding a job at DHX media, but Hasbro only contracted 13 episodes for Season 3.

Now people it looks like us Bronies are taking sides on the interwebz. Dually Note that this fandom can come up with the most outlandish of claims. So assume the following is nothing more that fandom speculation.

Best case scenario to worse case scenario:

1. Hasbro is authorizing a full length MLP movie – in order to obtain the extra time required to animate a 90+ min summer release movie S3 has been shortened. Whew, seems legit, right? But extremely unlikely IMO.
   
2. The HUB is moving towards shorter seasons with less wait time in between. (my personal favorite)
   
3. Major increase in animation quality.
   
4. Nothing – A few problems cropped up that unfortunately made this season shorter (maybe having to give another show more of a spotlight?)…but the HUB hopes to bring back a 26 set in S4. (My second fav.)
   
5. Hasbro is evil the end is nigh Dunno about this one but i saw more than one person same the same thing on different sites…must have some validity behind it right? Nah, don't take it seriously.
   
   

   Hasbro only needs 65 shows for successful syndication. The 13 episodes of season three will mean just that. After they syndicate the show Hasbro can successfully sell their toy line without producing another episode. This has me worried. Hasbro's concern about selling toys and not producing long running episodes, and they may be looking at season 3 as there cut it and run point.

   
   

Once again, this is only a big as you allow yourself to make it. Thirteen episodes is a certainly a blessing after 3-4 months of wait, but sadly, it is not 26 I was expecting.

They're making so much more money off of the series than the toys, aren't they?

5. Worst of all it teaches young girls to go out and pursue a career and try to be survive on their own, when they should be at home, serving their husbands. So I wake up in the morning go down stairs an check my mail an let's see what we got here. bills bills bills bills 50% on pizza an wings hmmm oh my an a MSG from a church near me0___0...

So at first I'm thinking oh it must be some kinda invite to come to church but then I look at it more an more an its a private letter from them. So I open it an what I see you will never believe. Dear blank blank blank (not going to tell my name) we have gotten notice from one of our sources that you have signed a form on a site to legalize gay marriage -____- an it may of just been that I sighened that form but they also inclouded that I am apart of the brony community an that I should come to on of there private sessions of cleansing. At first I was like wtf?!?!? An then I started thinking I wonder if my pony friends in my area got this to (we all sighed that form) so I MSG them on Skype hey anyone els get that weird church letter all them go u to? So that leads me to now I'm kinda scared to be a brony an a supporter of stuff. I'm not scared easily but it got worse then that so my thing to you is have you ever been scared to be a brony this also relates to school kids that said they where bronys got beat the hell up an teachers well we all know how that goes....

But getting back to the point are you scared or does this show that the brony community is growing an ppl should be happy over being scared?
