CrypticQuery
It's easy for me, I'm going with Fox Eh, never did like Mario or Sonic as characters too much; they're a generic product of their times . If I had to choose I'd go with Sonic, only because Mario has never fixed a pipe in his entire life as a "plumber."
LoneWolf
I'd have to go with sonic for the same reason as CrazyFoo.

Deploy
I picked Sonic because he's cooler and my favorite video game character of all time, but I love Mario, too! Both of them have fantastic games! :P
GameMasterGuy
Sonic if we're going by best outing, but Mario for modern titles.

Prince Elite
Sonic, because he has just always had more character; at least, to me. and he has his own TV series, which were quite good, except for that pathetic excuse for a series that sends shivers down my spine to this day. To be fair, Mario had his TV own series too. And it starred Captain Lou Albano! :D

I Am The Great Leon
Mario since Sonic has not had a good title since the Dreamcast.....but I do like the old Sonic back on the Genesis.
Milkyway64
Sonic's games have sucked for an age now, and I never did prefer the whole "speed" focus when the limitations of the screen made it so you can only see two inches in front of you, where it's already too late to stop or avoid obstacles. So Sonic frustrates me on account of needing to be MEMORIZED.

sjrathbun812
I really think Sega is trying to improve their Sonic games, and I think they are seceding. I've read a lot about Sonic Colors on Wikipedia, and it got a fairly good reception. It wasn't anything like 100%, but that does not mean in any way that it was terrible or even bad. It's like Sega finally said, "Hey, why don't we make a good Sonic game for once?" (I am not saying that previous Sonic games were bad, but they could have been better.)
