I'm not being mad at you, I'm just gonna ask you to get used to it, Milky is like this. I don't have a problem with it unless it was directed at me. It would just be nice if you didn't really say to him it was uncalled for and THE BAD TROLL video is considered flamebait. As Reynard pointed out, there are levels of "Furry," if you will. It depends on where you see yourself and how others inside/outside the fandom see you. I'll admit it. I like to draw anthros, but I've never drawn smutty pronz. I'm appreciative of some of the art that furries make to a certain degree and some of the furries I've seen seem pretty cool to hang out with. But if someone random would ask me if I was a furry, I'd be all "AW HELL NO. THE FUCK YOU TALKING ABOUT!" Eh. probably not that dramatic, but I'd tell them no because I wouldn't wanna be lumped in with the stereotypes that people throw around (i.e. Furries like to screw their pets. IDK who the fuck thought of that.) To me, The Furry Fandom is just as weird as any other kind of fandom. But I think most furries are aware that they're weird, which is good. I don't really hate furries. Hell, I practically hang out with one on skype. DID I JUST SAY I WAS A FURRY? (NONSENSE. AHH Fuck it. It's not like anyone cares) this IS a touchy subject after all. It can range from a dog that can talk or a cat girl, although most would agree on something that is near 50% human and 50% animal. Furries are often seen as mammals as there are other names for creatures part human part bird (Avians) or part human part reptile (Scalies). Yet those types also seem to fall under the furry umbrella term. 2) Anyone who has an interest in furries (the creature) who recognizes themselves as part of the group. Not all people who like furry art call themselves part of the fandom. I was interested in furry art since I was 16. It was only when I was 20 that I realized there was a fandom. Some of them "unfortunately" though take it to a whole new level with their DA and FA profiles. While I hate to portray the majority of the fandom like this it's in large part mostly true. The main reason for the fandom's dramatic increase in growth over the last 10 years or so was mainly due to the Internet and the overabundance of yiff that came along with it. It's quite obvious to see how convention attendance for the last 15 years has been going up and up and the % material that involves money in the fandom (i.e. commissions, art sales, comics, card games, etc) has been also been increasing mainly in pornographic content. There's a reason for that and anyone who has been to a convention will know what I'm talking about it. Sex sells and in this case is easily the main thing driving this fandom. While I sympathize with the furries who are not into this kind of stuff and hate to be portrayed as fetishists I also would prefer to be realists and at least acknowledge this "problem" in it's full scope rather than brush it under the rug and downplay the entire thing. Every time I see some blatant denial of "OMG NOT ALL FURRIES ARE LIKE THAT AND MOST OF US AREN'T INTO THAT KIND OF MATERIAL" just makes me facepalm. There are Furries who tend to draw Anthro Characters, scenes and so on (i like to do that). 5. There are the Furries who....(here it comes) do it for the art! the Yiff and only the *Yiff.
