Deploy
I've never played Minecraft, and it doesn't look that amazing. But I guess I should try it sometime... to see what all the hullabaloo is about...

Robert Monroe
I'd love to have a MC server, but yeah. DZ does have other expenses too, so I won't pressure him for it.

Mellow Walrus
Just found out that I need to get my video card replaced, so I won't get a chance to get on the computer for a while, been having to use my ps3. Whenever my computer gets fixed though, count me on board for a server.
Fox-Shot
I wouldn't be able to, my internet doesn't like that game. (Have they even added client prediction yet?)
Owner/Technical Admin Sideways Posted June 17, 2011 Owner/Technical Admin Share Posted June 17, 2011 How powerful is the server? If we have a ton of ppl playing and exploring, it can really tax a server's memory use. Best bet would be to implement a border system so you don't eat up a lot of memory exploring.. the Minecraft server I play on has had this problem in the past. People explore far out and the server lags.
