Matrilwood
I leave the internet behind for a couple of days and next thing I know I feel like I'm Obama in the most racist part of the middle east. I can't even access Facebook without being asked if I trust it, and that's with both Firefox AND IE. I'm using Chrome at the moment because it actually allows me to access the internet. I haven't used IE since before there WAS an Obama, but I've never known FireFox to be so heavy on the security. Did I like miss something on the news or something? (i.g. did some crazy release the Premium [Again] and doom the internet?) I know about the PSN thing but other than that I've been completely in the dark. DZComposer
It is not that the threat has changed, it has always been there, it is just that people are finally realizing that they need to take security and privacy seriously. There is even a "do not track me online" bill in the US congress right now. I think the Sony hack is making a lot of online services take another look at their security. Good security is expensive, and a lot of suits think "oh, we're not a bank, that won't happen to us," but the PSN situation has proved otherwise. Vulvokunvrii
Its just a procaution in the name of National Security and Internet Safety. Wouldnt want the internet, Military Network or ANYRHINg being Hacked or comromised.
