Gene Inari
I'm in the mood for a car topic. What is your dream car? The car you wish you could drive any way you please. While I have no doubt that there are fancier, more luxurious cars out there. My car of choice/the car of my dreams would be a tricked out Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. There's just something about the Evo that I find really awesome. Maybe because it's functional and practical while being really stylish.
Vy'drach
My dream car is a 2001 Dodge Viper GTS, ACR or just GTS, painted black with silver racing stripes. That is a beautiful machine right there. Also, a 1972 Buick Riviera, just about any colour looks fine on it, though dark blue would be preferred.

CrypticQuery
Either a circa late 1970s/80s Chevrolet Caprice; A 1998-2010 Ford Crown Victoria A 1991-1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Or a 1991-1996 Buick Century; I have simple tastes :P
DZComposer
My dream car doesn't exist. I want a self-sufficient electric car that does not depend on fossil fuels, is fast (doesn't have to be supercar-fast, though), has a smooth ride, and is loaded with the latest tech. And leather seats. @Crazyfoonic: Set your standards low! That way you can get your dream car for only a few hundred bucks. Just hope it runs. For the record, I had a 1994 Buick Century until my bother totaled it. Was a decent car, but why it would be someone's dream car is beyond me. Unless you wanted to store like 5 dead bodies in the trunk. The trunk in that car was xboxhueg.

Shinigami
yeaaah, that's pretty much it. wanted this car since I first saw it in the first transformers. wanted it more when seeing it in the new Hawaii Five-O in which the main two characters use it. throw a little hot-rod red on it and it's awesome. xD

Sarita
Buggati Veyron. 'nough said. When I first started wanting a MINI Cooper, Steve went looking for the most expensive car he could find, and that's what he came up with. So I got him one. In The Sims. Asper Sarnoff
Pst! It's spelled Bugatti. Fun fact, did you know the most expensive car of all time's a Bugatti as well? 9.7 Billion USD in 1987 for a Type 41 "Royale". That's 6.4 metres of the the finest handmade luxury. 12.7 litre straight 8.
DZComposer
You could buy an MG with a similar body style for a lot less. Just make sure to have some tools and a bunch of spare parts with you at all times. Those old MGs looked cool, but they tended to fall apart. You sure 9.7 billion isn't a mistype or something? lol

Another one going around as well is about the Type 57SC Atlantic, one reportedly having gone for up to 40 million USD. Thing is, those who usually buy these cars, don't really like advertising their wealth, and prefer to let the true buying sums remain unknown to the public. Hehe, this all wants me to revive that old car thread we had around.

Yeah, after a bit of research, I'll have to admit you were right. Guess what company though. VAG. Volkswagen Audi Group, current owner of the Bugatti brand. 20 mil for a car. Now for a house I can understand but a car? I fail to see any lack of logic there. I for one wouldn't have any qualms paying as much for a car as for a house.
DZComposer
He has a point. Unless it was like made of precious metals or something, the overhead going into producing such a vehicle would likely be far under even $1,000,000. Turning around and selling it for $20,000,000 is one hell of a profit.

This makes them extremely rare and probably thus worthy of a price like that depending on who you ask.

I seriously doubt old Leonardo spent anywhere near that on canvas and paint when he made it. Some cars are more than just ways to get from A to B. Some can be works of art in their own right. a tank easly, well thats assuming i don't have to pay for it or the gas If I were to fill up our Leopard ARV with diesel at the average civilian petrol station, I'd have to pay close to four grand for it.
