Yeah that was the first thing that bothered me when I saw that screenshot. It's like the makers want to SHOVE "PANTHER IS FUCKING MENACING....they kinda didnt succeed with that in assault...BUT HE ACTUALLY IS!!!"in our faces.

Panther's aaaalmost Mary Sue level in that perspective.

More than that, he's a pain in the ass that never disappears. Seems like that Q-Games wanted to give Leon the p*ssy title instead of giving it to the newest member. I don't know if I should laugh or cry about it.

I think Leon is more Badass than Panther. Panther it one of the MAIN causes that the game came off the rails.

If panther never entered the series, Krystal would've stayed with Fox, and hoping a almost completely messed up Command wasn't so messed up.

Still the SF story line would still be "off."

sad.

Oh please, if the writers wanted her off Star Fox that bad they would have just had her hook up with Wolf. Panther didn't "derail" the series, he was just a minor bump in terms of Star Wolf's team dynamic; at least in Command they had four members.

I did never understand why Panther was worth more than Leon. Especially considering Leon's title is "assassin", wheras Panther only had "various crimes" or something attributed to him (I think this was all mentioned on the Assault site before it went down). We know as much about Leon's backstory as we do Panther but at least Leon has some kind of role or mythos about him, Panther is just "that guy".

Well, Panther was new to the team. And if he wasn't really special, people would think he's nothing more than a filler.

Hence, this talking of a badass pilot with no foundation.

Panther ain't a badass pilot. Considering the numerous amount of times I had to Clean-up after scraping the skyline with his ship. :troll:

Leon verses Panther in Wanted status is completely off, Like Dras said:

A assassin is worth about 1.5 times as much than a "Pilot" that appeared into the series.

I actually found Panther's ship to be one of the best in Command, and played as him whenever I could. He was brilliant at destroying missiles.

HAHAH this made my day. xD

The badness of an anus...

anyways... why not just let Andrew come back? He was a great character and is really fun to shoot down... UNCLE ANDROOOS! XD

haha but what I'm trying to say is I THINK no one else than Andrew fits to be the fourth memeber of starwolf. Panther is not so bad either to have on the team, sure! But he's just there to flirt with Krystal and Fox doesn't care about it anyways. Also I think Panther lacks the badassness and doesn't feel like he would do any harm at all for me.

And one thing that bothers me is... WHY IS PANTHER MORE WORTH CAPTURING THAN LEON??StarWolf_Command_Intro.png Seriously he has just been with the team for a short time! And he has already catched up Leon's crime history. WTF?

Because Panther is more of an actual threat then Leon. I mean honestly. Leon, being a criminal and pilot. If he is easy to take down and does small crimes from time to time, the people wanting Leon is going to be pay little for him because he is not much of a threat. As for Panther, since he is supposed to be Wolf's second wingman. The side boss. They are going to charge more for him because he is an actual threat and he is going to be hard to take down.

Thats what I think.

Panther IS badass though. One of the best in the galaxy, considering he matches up with StarFox and the rest of StarWolf.

Also, I thought Panther was an assassin too and his rose was sort of like a calling card of his?

*shrug* It never said what he was aside from criminal. Or, in the case of his concept art in Assault, "pilot". Not even "ace pilot" like Falco. Just..."pilot". Even Pigma got "betrayer".

That would double the price on his head or so.

In all seriousness, a bear would be fitting.

If they do that, I think the best-case scenario would be Andrew returning. I think he works better with the team rather than himself :P

I don't see Krystal changing teams. It's not that much of a good-to-evil change, but still, it's a huge plot that can hardly be pulled off without giving a 180°

And I kinda agree with Panther having more bounty on his head than Leon. Confirming Leon's various psychoses; the bounty may be dropped for seemingly mental incapacity. I mean, authorities may prefer him on a straitjacket and a foam room life sentence rather than a normal cell life sentence. Panther may be harder to catch and fully aware of his crimes, so he would fit more on the "malicious" kind. Besides, he may have various stalking charges from various ladies XD

In fact, this how I see Leon captured (the strapped woman)

When I was versus him, it was a little too easy to take him and the rest of Starwolf down. The hardest on for me was Wolf.

Not really, it would increase but not by a whole lot.

How about a Star Wolf version of the Team Fortress 2 Soldier or Scout?

A Starwolf TF2 skin, that's a idea. Maybe not a Scoot skin but a Solider skin is an idea.

Anyone make skins. :D

alright now picture this, Wolf has a sister and she tags with him on one mission that brings her into the public eye, Introducing (first name) O'Donnell, and she's more vicious than her brother is.

Give her Freddy Kruger-like claws and an incredibly pissed off look and I'm sold on her. She's be like an evil version of Krystal or Fara. :D

Meh. Sounds like a fanfic character.

If there's going to be a female member of Star Wolf, it should be:

A. Krystal

B. A character who is there not just for the fact that she is female

(The two statements seem contradictory of one another but Krystal on Star Wolf is a reversal of that very same thing)

Character role and personality should come first...then gender. Not the other way around. For Star Wolf's fourth member would have to be some kind of support type, which Andrew and Krystal can both function as (mechanic and psychic...helper...thing). This is assuming Leon functions as a sharpshooter of some sort and Panther is the tank.

Oh god screw Krystal being a member of starwolf.. Like seriously its just dumb. "IMA GO TO STARWOLF TO MAKE MY EX-BOYFRIEND JEALOUS AND MAKE HIM REGRET KICKING ME OFF THE TEAM TO SAVE MY LIFE. "

Yes I agree, I completely hate characters that act in a way that is a causal reaction to an event in a manner that furthers and complicates the plot.

Oh wait.

Sorry if I may sounded like an asshole in that post before lol. I just don't like how that happened. A Guy does a favor to keep you alive, yet you

backstab him and go to his rival's team to piss him off and complicate something. Instead of accepting what Fox was trying to do for her, she wants to get back at him..

Probably because Star Fox was Krystal's way of feeling useful, and her team was her adopted family being that her entire planet was kind of destroyed and all. Then OOPS LOL Fox forces her away from him because he's too much of a pussy to handle the fact that mercenaries face danger and she should be making him sandwiches instead anyways. Who does she turn to? The only other people in the solar system she really knows or that we see her acquainted with on-screen, that accept what she wants to do.

Yeah I know it's totally nonsensical to have something akin to have Star Fox characters act like real people would (being selfish and having wants and needs being in there) but hey whaddaya know, it happened.

All in all Command completely butchered a character who had a lot of potential behind her. Nuff said.

All in your head, bro. All three of them share the same AI.

At least it tried, which is more than can be said about the other two games wherein she had zero presense at all.
