StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
I personally like anything in the canine family like dogs, foxes, wolves, coyotes, etc. Pretty much what I was going to say, but with the choices I was given, I had to pick either Fox or Wolf. So I went with Fox.

Steph McCloud
It really depends on the plot, but wolves are my favorite.

Psygonis
I think in the Starfox universe that both avian and wolves species are the best appropriate. Birds for obvious flying-related reasons and wolves because of their pack/team and hunting/dogflighting nature.
Vy'drach
Wolf, especially a white wolf. My dad loves wolves, grew up with that, I love wolves now too. Plus it didn't hurt that we used to have a pet white wolf (95%) when I was growing up, his name being Spirit. Beautiful animals.

kkstarfox
Derp. Other, I guess? When I write, i hardly ever write quote unquote furry characters. On top of that I am not limited to one character archetype. So, I say other. Other because I use a whole plethora of characters.
Milkyway64
I'd say fox but where the f is Vixin This is why I loathe my own fandom. Both of them.
unoservix
my favorite is the Myxinidae they are a beautiful and truly underappreciated life form on this, our Lord's blue planet. the sinuous curves and elegant motions make them the very picture of grace and beauty in the natural world. some of them are the essence of independence, needing no other creature to survive and propagate. they are cunning warriors in battle with the ever-present predators of their realm, and they are clever and shrewd hunters when it comes time for them to prey upon lesser creatures themselves. they're efficient and disciplined, able to go months without eating if conditions demand it. they're productive, incredibly so. they're simply amazing. Psygonis
Yeah, but it's hard to make a character of an anguila... ^^'

Though, I've found that dogs with their many breeds to be quite versatile...
Furygun81
:wolf: Wolves forever! Psygonis
Lol, these are epic characters! Especially the platypus! But the anguila character could be thought to be like... I don't know, a snake or something.
