There is no hard disc, they are going with flash memory again. You can use a USB hard drive, but why should you have to? Internal flash memory is good to have, as well as a USB flash drive--the ones that you can have on a keychain to back your game play up with, but although I love the way the Wii U looks and all (Love the built-in screen on the controller and the ability to play back Gamecube legacy disks. Hint-Hint), there isn't a function to play back Blu-Ray disks. I 'spose I can sort of understand that because the center spindle on the drive unit would have to have a function that can tell the difference between a DVD/Blu-Ray Disk, and the game ones. Still, supposedly the platform hasn't been finalized yet...or has it? O.C.F/"Foxtype1973" :friends:
Sabre
It is backwards compatable with wii, not gamecube.
Star Fox Runner
I have to admit, I was disappointed when I heard they've dropped GameCube playability, but its not surprising really. The GameCube has been essentially dead since 2007, so why continue support? R.I.P. GameCube, it was my favorite console. However, this may open up Virtual Console support for GameCube games, maybe even HD Remastered versions like they've been doing on 360/PS3. Imagine, Adventures and Assault in HD!
