"Red, you don't get a weapon. That's what your squad is for." He turned to her, again ignoring the wolf servant. "What they need most is a leader, see. You need to stay safe. However, there's a self defense pistol that comes with your uniform. Thanks for all of your help, dear."

He turned back to Daniel. "Your job is to follow the captain around and do whatever she says. Even if it seems stupid, do it. I can't risk disarray or any shortcomings in my main force." He had a bit more to talk about, but was interrupted by a pair of guards coming in clutching a grumbling man with way too many metal offshoots. The security was lifeless, almost zombielike from "enhancements" the general had been slipping to them, which was also the explanation on how they kept the man restrained. "And who's this rat? A resistance cur?"

Daniel looked at his Commanding officer of the squad and then at the General. "I understand General. I will follow and fufill her orders without hesitation. Seeing how you care for the life of my commanding officer, I'll make sure no major harm comes to her. And General when are we planning to do this operation? " He saw the General turn his attention to the pair of guards. Daniel turned and looked at the man. "Hmm.. Seems the resistence possibly may exisist after all.. But then again this could be some misinteruptation. Then again, it couldn't be... " he said to himself.

"ME? a cur? why would you say such a thing about a man like me?!?!?" the man shook around, the guards were holding him rather tightly.

"Also, Think you could tell these guys to let go? there gonna break my arms if they don't and it'd be bad if those broke!"

His small bag of golden tented fishy expendables at his side, rattling in the paper perimeter it rocked back and forth against, Fluxy made way for the city's shore line, located at the northern most part of town. This rather momentous walk gave the human time to think about what would happen, and if it was true that Xort was really against his side now.

"It... I still can't believe it... If I'm lucky, the intel was wrong, and he is still on my side!" He first reasoned, but then rationalized that it was rare that the finalized version of the information he was given was proven to be false. "Well, maybe he is just acting to be with the enemy, just to learn about their tactics, or something..." But the human, in the end, truly didn't believe that. He was only making false excuses to lure himself into a sense of security. A security he knew was automatically wrong. Fluxy didn't know what to do.

He had the poison, and looked down at it as he sat on the rock on the shore; He had finally got there, and Xort was soon to arrive.

The area was lit, actually, rather beautifully, which was a diamond in the ruff nowadays with Milky's war and take over. It was the escape of this bloodied battlefield; The eye of the storm. But soon to be tainted with battle.

The water flowed back and forth, back and forth, very rhythmic; Helping calm Fluxy's nerves and the butterflies in his stomach. This plan had to work, or fate had to have gotten something wrong; The pills he took daily had obviously affected his innate confidence with life and death matters.

He stared up, the sun hiding behind the clouds, making the area lit, but not shining; Just how Fluxy liked it.

"I wonder when he'll get here..."

(OOC: Sorry, but I'm going to take a few liberties with the group that's following me. I'll just assume at least two people are with me, and I won't worry too much about interaction. I'll just have you following me to move this along a bit more cleanly.)

"Alright, what are we waiting for then? Let's get moving. Anyone who's interested, follow me this time." With that, Xort once more donned his trilby and strode towards the exit, once again not looking to see if he was being followed. If they still weren't going to come with, then they weren't worth wasting time on; after all, he had an appointment to keep. He strolled out into the city, his followers close behind, and took them through several streets, back alleys and open lots before finally coming to a halt in front of an alleyway.

Motioning for the group to follow him, they crept quietly through the dark path, eventually coming to a stop in front of a door adorned with a drawing of a yellow-coated, pink-maned pegasus. Xort grinned, happy his art was still here to mark his secret hideout. If all had gone well, his 'people' would be here already, waiting for his arrival. Knocking on the door in a predetermined sequence only the resistance knew. After a moment, the door opened slightly, and Xort and his group entered.

Inside was a small resistance group, armed and paranoid. Sweeping off his trilby, Xort gestured at his followers. "These are the guys I told you about. I know next to nothing about them, and although I'd love to stay, I've got business to take care of elsewhere." Re-donning his hat, he backed up to the door and addressed his group. "These guys'll tell you everything you need to know, so long as they decide you're trustworthy. Just cooperate and I'm sure you'll get along." With that, he poked his head out of the door, glanced around, and soon stepped out completely before striding away.

Hope everything goes well with them. The more folks we have, the better. But Xort had more pressing matters to think about. The meetup with Fluxy was sure to be unpredictable; intelligent as Fluxy was, Xort sometimes wondered if the guy was a little bit crazy. And as high up as he was in the General's hierarchy, he was sure to know where Xort's allegiance lay. Preparing himself mentally for what was to come, the blocks blew by without notice until Xort finally approached the 'usual place.'

The secluded little area on the shore was, as always, wonderfully serene. Fluxy sat on a rock, having already arrived. "Hola, bro. So, what's up?"

(Since Xort ditched, I'll be taking over the roles of the resistance guys Sergiroth and co. met up with over the next couple of posts just to establish everything and get you guys inducted or whatever.)

Turning his head, and taking a look at Xort with a smile, he stood, and went to great him with a back stretch. "Heya, Xort. Not much really, just well... Thought we should talk." He said, turning his back and going to a picnic blanket that was on the sand, sitting down on one end. "Here, uhm, sit with me. I am pretty sure we both know what the first thing on our mind is..." He said, looking to the ocean, allowing it to calm him a little before adding onto it once more.

"Is it true..?"

Following Fluxy, Xort dropped his hat in the sand and sat down next to it, opposite his old friend. "Eeyup. I'm in the resistance. Fighting the good fight and all that jazz. And I've heard from some that you're pretty damn high in the General's order, yourself. Shame, that." He laid back in the sand, letting the warmth spread through his body. "Might there be any way I could convince you to jump sides?" He kept his voice level, but inside his heart began to pick up speed.

"As of right now, Xort... I can't..." He said, looking away, and then to him. "Now, sit up... We are enemies... And we need to act as such. So here, let our duel begin...."

Setting the cups out, and putting some liquid in each, clear water in each, he set one in front of himself, and one in front of Xort. "Now... In one of these cups, there is a deadly cyanide... Clear, colorless, and odorless..." He said, looking to her. "One of these cups will have the poison, and the other is safe... It is your job to pick which is the safe cup. And once you pick your cup, I shall take the other, and then we both drink..." He said, his heart racing a tad.

"Cups and poison? A bit cliche, Fluxy, but I suppose it has its own sort of charm. Well, this shouldn't be too hard." Sitting back up, he leaned forward, examining the cups set before him. No visual indicators, of course. I'd expect no less. "Yes, all I have to do is decide, based on what I know of you, are you the type of man who would put the poison in his own cup? Or in mine?"

Resting his chin in his hands, he began to reason the solution. "Only a fool would trust his opponent to give him the clean glass. I'm no fool, so my cup is out of the question. But, you know I'm no fool. You count on that fact. Therefore, I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you." Possibilities, pathways of possible outcomes, spread out before Xort's mind as he continued to contemplate his possibilities. Fluxy was no pushover; he would have to make his choice carefully.

"Hah. Imprison him." the general ordered, having his question go unanswered. Since the man presented himself so readily to him, why not make another unwilling trooper?

"imprison me?" awww why would you do a thing like that?" the man asked as he was getting brisked away toward a different room.

along the way throughout the halls of the place, the only thing the man could think about is the awesome sword the general had on him.

After a few more halls and a little bit of pouting, the man was at the Jail block, all the prisoners looked neglected to the point they were scrawny.

"HEY be gentle, I'm sensitive!" was all the man yelled as he was thrown into the cell and left there all alone.

Daniel chuckled and looked at the man being carried away by the guards. "It is truely amazing to see a guy like him act so innocent. " He looked back at the General, having his question unanswered he asked it again. "General, when and where is this operation you assigned me going to start at? Also is there any details I may need to know about the leader of our squad? "

Redeemer turned to the soldier next to her, who had been told to protect her. She gave him a quick glance, from his feet to his face.

"General, when and where is this operation you assigned me going to start at?" he asked, "Also is there any details I may need to know about the leader of our squad?"

"We will be starting immediately. Regarding myself, I'm the goddamned most important piece of living infomation you could ever find regarding the resistance. I started the bastarding thing. I'm just thankful I was elightened when I was."

Red turned to Milky, softening her tone of voice.

"I will do my best, General," she stated, "I realise that Fluxy has left already. I will prepare myself and leave for another location. You," she signalled to the soldier next to her, "Come with me."

Fluxy did not smile once at all during this whole situation as he looked directly at Xort's eyes the whole time. "Xort... If you cherish your life, you can simply join my side, and not pick a cup at all. Please... I don't want you to die." He said, wanting to sway his good friend one way, although knowing that the chances of that were slim to none.

Daniel responded to Red's singal, without any act of hesistation he followed her. He walked to the right side of Red, they both continued to walk down the hallway, passing many people who were conversating with one another. He gave a quick glance at Red, from head to toe. As he finished observing her, he turned his head and faced forward."Hmm, the resistence is real then. I find it strange how we have the leader of the rebellion working for us and fighting against the rebellion she started. This doesn't make much sense to me. But whatever, as long as the General knows where this women's loyalty is at then all of us will be fine. " He said in his mind.

As they marched down the corridor, Red turned her head so that Daniel could at least see the side of her face.

"I expect maximum effort from you and your team, Daniel," she told him, "And I will not see failure as an option. I hope you understand why. The General is very important, not just to SFO, but to me. I will do as he asks, and I will not once question him. I want that same kind of commitment from you, do you see? Only with complete obedience can success be reached."

They stopped on a corner. Red turned around completely, and looked up into Daniel's face.

"I have some preparation to do. I want you to assemble the men, quickly, and meet me back here in half an hour."

Daniel smiled. " You'll get more then my maximum effort Captain. Our men will either return succesful as they are designed to be, or dead. Do not worry mad'am. I'll see you in half an hour. " He walked off and left Red at the corner. He quietly walked down the corridor, one by one he found the men in his squardon and he gathered all of them into the Armory. They all entered the weapon chamber, they gathered weapons, armor and large clips of ammunition. Daniel who was already prepared, simply leaned on the wall and watched the six soldiers of his squadron suited themselves up. They approached Daniel, lined up in a single file line. One of the soldiers, holding a gold and orange colored long and sharp axe. The soldier walked up to Daniel and handed the axe to him. " I finally got our mechanic to fix your melee weapon Daniel. Its ready to be used in battle now. " the soldier said. Daniel grabbed the long axe firmly. " Thanks corporal, I appreciate that. " He said. He pushed a button on the staff of the axe that transformed the axe itself into a medium sized staff that he later attached to on the back side of his armor.

Daniel raised his voice. "Listen up! Before you guys make any kind of assumption I need to tell you all something. Today I gathered you all here for a mission however will not be in charge of this little squad we have here. We've got a new leader and she is expecting to see actual men out on the battlefield. She doesn't want to see anything less then that and neither do I. We both expect motivation and dedication. I want to see what you men can do. I don't want to be taking little children out on that field. And one thing I defintely do not want to see is dessertion! "

He rose his voice even louder. "If I see any sign or expression of ANY ONE OF YOU MEN RUNNING AWAY! I WILL PERSONALLY KILL YOU MYSELF BEFORE THE ENEMY GETS A CHANCE TO GET A BULLET IN YOUR IDITOIC HEADS!!! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?! " he shouted.

The marines lined up in front of him and nodded and screamed "YES SIR! " Almost a whole thirty minutes have passed and Daniel met up with Red on time, his men of six assembled right behind him. "I got them all here captain. "

Redeemer wandered into a courtyard, sat down on a bench and lit up a cigarette. She took her cellphone out her pocket and flickered through her contacts.

I need someone who knows me, respects me... I need someone who I can capture and bring back to the General. Someone impressive...

She pondered for a while, flicking away some ash, concocting a plan or sorts to attract a decent but not obvious amount of attention to herself. Perhaps she could feign an SOS call. Just go to a location, pretend to be distressed and see who comes to help. And knowing her reputation, quite a few would respond. She stood up, put out her smoke and returned to her meeting place for Daniel. He was waiting with a team of soldiers.

"I got them all here captain," he greeted her.

"Good," Red replied, "Now I have an idea, but I'll need to be alone for the most part. You should be on standby, someplace close. I know what I need to do. Let's go, I'm getting impatient."

She turned and headed for the central market of SFO, to the store where she held her last resistance meeting.

The six soldiers and Daniel followed Red's order. They hid in an alley nearby the SFO Central market, remaining unseen to all the common civillians, hiding behind dumpsters, and many other things. They remained quiet and waited for their leader to perform her plan.

Xort sighed in response. "I know you don't. I don't want you to die either, but neither of us seem willing to budge." He let the comment hang, hopeful that maybe Fluxy would change his mind, but when no response came he continued.

"Now, everyone knows Milky's regime is full of criminals, and criminals are likely to be well-versed in poisons, meaning that you would understand just how deadly this particular one is and want to keep it as far away from yourself as possible. As such, I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me. But, since you know this poison so well, you might have deliberately chosen a weaker one in the hopes that you could survive if you did ingest it, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you."

Fluxy heard his words, paying attention, and trying to read into what Xort might choose. He then took a look to both his cups; first to his own, and then to Xort's. A thought then crossed his mind as his right arm went and started to rub against his left. "Now now, Xort, would you really take me to be a criminal? Well, one maybe, but one as cliche to use poisons as a profession? The more you think, the higher your anxiety rises, and the more likely you will psychologically feel the affects of a poison soon, even if you pick the right cup. I..." He paused as he sighed, not wanting to say it at first, "I suggest you pick a cup soon... I don't want Milky to start coming out to find me, and then kill us both for me to be conversing with you like this."

Milky, now alone, went back to his chair. He put his broadsword aside, one he used mainly for show. A big blade was more imposing than a gun, if less effective. His desk was a mess for some reason he couldn't remember. Like any overlord worth his salt, he bridged his fingers in front of him and crossed his legs, peering ominously at the screens in front of him. One of them, of course, was stationed in the prison. The man from earlier was struggling in his cell angrily, and from -somewhere- he pulled out a blade of his own and cut himself out! The general immediately thumbed through his buttons and sounded the alarm.

“HA! THAT’LL TEACH YOU TO TRY TO INJECT ME!†the man screamed as he stabbed the guard who was keeping watch of the jails, the alarm had done gone off so there was no need for secrecy. Thankfully the man had still remembered the way the guards took him from the throne to here, so it was a simple matter of backtracking, unfortunately the guards were rather quick in finding him and making this a not so simple task.

“oh dear I’m spotted, what to do now?!†the man said, griping his blade quite tightly in a hallway flanked. After the 1 second of thinking the guards gave him, he decided the best way is up an around.

“don’t mind me, just passing over you!†the man quickly leaped up and was jumping on the guards till he was through and could continue running.

It took the man a few minutes of running, something he grumbled about the whole way, but finally he was at his destination. Peering through the room the man could see exactly what he was after, the big broadsword put aside by a not so happy looking general. After composing himself slightly, the man started to approach the general.

“I don’t feel like getting any shots anytime soon so I tell you what, I’ll serve ya voluntarily!†the man said with enthusiasm “you don’t give me shots, you get my service! Sound fair?â€
