If you have not heard the news, Japan has made a steak from human poo. It's apparently safe and tastes like beef. If you want more details you can find the story all over the internet.

I like my meat processed so a steak isn't my thing. Would you eat one though?

What the...

It's a steak, made from poo, or rather extracting all the meaty goodness. The idea is to have meat without the waste or ethical problems while also being more sustainible.

Because despite the obvious gross factor, it is some interesting news and this development could result in a lot of potential good.

Yes, that is true. However, not matter how you splice it, at the end of the day you're still eating shit.

To see how long it takes for someone to say "I eat peices of shit like that for breakfast!" :P

Eh, hard to say. I understand the idea and reason behind it, but in the end, it's still shit. Oh heck, we fertilize stuff with shit all the time, how should this be any different?

I'm game, if someone were actually there to give me some more insight into how it all was done. And no, not something like. "It doesn't taste shit at all, seriously!", and then proceeding to giggle loudly.

Well, On space shuttles they recycle water from urine. I guess that's progress for ya?

I would try it only if it they aren't on experimental phase.
