I have decided to give my self a Super Challenge. I've been awake for 12 hours, and now I'm going to try and stay awake for an additional twenty four. so I'll have been awake for 36 hours straight. I will post updates in the shoutbox every twenty minutes, to keep me honest. Think I can do it? Place your votes here.

... I was awake for 24 hours before I napped just there. 9 hours is nothing.

I have three things to say:

Rookie. Back on my days, we used to stay up for 48 hours, more than one person here has been up for the same + more amount of time.

Second, no need to show off with a topic, seriously, do you need to get attention all the time?

Third, this goes to the rec room.

I'll address all three points, Number one. I haven't exactly tried this before, and I didn't want to go overboard. Number two, Just wanted to know how many people thought I could, and how many though i couldn't. Number three, didn't know where it should have gone when I posted it, but thank you for showing me the right place.

Still awake

Ever stayed up 36 hours straight? I haven't but I'm going to try. I'm just seeing if people think I can.

Everyone can, as long as they're motivated enough for it.

I've myself gone from Monday 6:00 and till Thursday 17:00 with a maximum of 25-30 mins of sleep just this autumn. So did more or less everyone on my team as well. In that same span of time, we dug three trench systems, marched for no less than 50 clicks, each person carrying 20 kgs of gear, alongside the 20 litre water bottles and for reasons unknown, logs, we had to carry around. etc, etc, the details will bore you.

Only when you wake up as you hit the ground, because you fell asleep and collapsed while standing or marching, do you truly learn to value your sleep.

36 is easy, try 48. Things you'll need:

-Loud, bassy music. Play it loud and it becomes hard to sleep.

-Video Games

-NO TV/MOVIES, you end up too relaxed watching these.

-Energy Drinks/Mountain Dew for the first 24, then Coffee and Tea for the rest, otherwise you'll crash n' burn.

-Stand up, walk around, take a walk through your neighborhood, remain mobile, and keep your heart rate up.

Good luck my friend, and just warning you, you'll feel like you got hit by a bus afterwords.

This reminds me of Xort, Tony and I's plan of doing nothing but 38 hours straight of Smash Bros.

I think it was 48, actually. The record is 30 hours, so we're going to Smash it (lolcwutididthar) by 18 more.
