Guest Dark Krystal
... Your ride with my 'new' Ferrari F40? That's right, I finally got my dream car. My uncle pulled a lot of strings to get it for me, and I mean a LOT of strings, but I can honestly say it's the most awesome thing I have ever gotten, materialisticly anyways. BEAT THAT With the value of my car I could hire a presedential class assassin to kill you and ultimately deem your statement invalid. Beat THAT. Anyways, the point is that car can be several things. It's a desired thing, so it COULD be used just like money. Basically it's Cars, Guns, Money. All the same thing. Don't take this as a threat, it's only an example. >> The point here isn't to beat anybody, just to talk about/compare vehicles. You know the Turismo on GTA: San Andreas greatly resembles the Ferrari F40. I never really noticed that until I took a closer look.

Conall Drest
I have no car nor will I need one. Celts did not have cars back in warrior days and me following my warrior code will not use or learn how to use one. Yeah im irrational in your eyes but thats cause you all got modern mind sets when I have an ancient one.
Zicka
Indeed, It was considered dishonorable for a Samurai to use a Pinto or a Mustang for transportation. Doing so could command seppuku by swallowing a frisbee.
Conall Drest
WTF I aint no samurai but basically the main reasons I cannot have a car is my anger problems with the idiotic people in this sorry excuse for a state and cause I cannot afford a car or even afford the gas to fill it up for even 1 month I have so little money. Plus I cannot get a job around here cause all these jobs around here involve something in the city I am living in and I cant work where there is cars and stuff. My school does plan to get me a job and teach me argracultutral skills and also get me a job in one of the few nearby old growth forests in this state. EvolutionSFox
My teacher who is about 80 years old has a Red GTO... I wanted to steal it... For now I have a brown rusty catalac(sp?), it's been given down to each of my brothers and I'm fourth in line. xD

Death does not render statements invalid. A lot of our best statements, studies, advice, and knowledge comes from dead people. #2: Doing so would result in your no longer having a car. Though you'd not need to buy gas, you'd be forced to walk everywhere. And your uncle would probably be cheesed. And this isn't a contest, it's a comparison, your original intent as noted in the title. Indeed' date=' It was considered dishonorable for a Samurai to use a Pinto or a Mustang for transportation. Doing so could command seppuku by swallowing a frisbee.[/quote'] That wins so hard.
Kal
I'd say Zicka won this topic. Moreso than my 87 Volvo Armored Shoebox.
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
Mustang, ey? Is it a GT? Cause my uncle has an 87 GT I think, somewhere. Just a regular old 87 SVO Mustang. I don't believe it was GT. Although, I always wanted to get the 87 GT Hatchback Mustang or to be more with the times the the Shelby Cobra GT500.....That Mustang....haha....I'd have keep dreaming. salmon45
Congratulations on the new car. I bet it would be sweet to have a Ferrari. I guess it would come with some disatvantages. I bet you have very high insurance payments and end up paying a lot of money on fuel(you put premium in it, right?) Also, there is a higher than normal chance that it would be stolen. You should have the club or something like that. But besides that, yeah it would be awsome. I go from A to B in my Ford Taurus.
TakeWalker
lucky you.. but I have heard complaints here that the Gas price is "very" high in america... then you should check ours >>.. But you guys are like... used to it. I know it sounds whiny, but most Americans need gas, and lots of it. We've got a lot more country to travel, and generally one lives multiple cities away from where one works; hour+ commutes are not unheard of. All I can say is my family in particular is feeling the squeeze. If I could GTFO this house, it wouldn't be so bad. But it's still rediculous. salmon45
I know, Americans are very wasteful. We love complaining about the gas prices. That is one of the more popular conversations here. Everyone likes to compare the prices of the places where they live. Everyone is bothered by the high prices and no one wants to take the blame for it. People blame the president, the president blames oil compinies, the compinies blame some other people and it just keeps going around.

DZComposer
Since this thread is in dire need of a skeptic... Got any proof that you actually have one of these cars? If you're gonna gloat, at least prove that you have one.
salmon45
I do not see how we could prove it. On internet fourms you just have to decide when you think someone is telling the truth or not.
