Psygonis
http://instruct1.cit.cornell.edu/cou...zk29/index.htm A small electrical engineering project of 2007 at the Cornel University (Ithaca, NY) featuring Starfox (Star Wing in Europe), the original one released on SNES. ... Ok, it's not really finished, but well... GG to these guys! That's what I call game developing! For these wondering what kind of gaming platform an FPGA is, it isn't! An FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) chip is a grid of transistors, hundred thousands of them, which you can organize into wired-logic circuits software-modeled using both Verilog and VHDL languages. Given their number, you can synthetize one or several CPU on a same chip, so implementing a Super FX engine and a game is more than possible!
