Sabre
Been drinking alot of spezis recently. Likely my new favourite fizzy drink. Easy to make. Half Cola, half orangeade. Delisious. Big in Germany apparently. Anyway, since I'm playing Valve games again, and since the TF2 replay feature doesn't work I decided to look into demo recording. To cut a long story short the demo to video conversion is working again. The problem is that it exports into either .avi, or as a series of .tga images. I used to have virtual dub, but despite it's claims it's not much of an editor last I checked years ago. I'm not trying to do anything fancy, just be able to cut out the boring parts. At most putting multiple clips together and adding a backing track. It's just for fun, nothing serious. I also wondered if anyone would be interested in this kind of thing? For example, playing TF2 today I came across a scout player who picked up the intel and was so confused he hung around blue base until a heavy respawned and managed to walk down and kill him. In a co-op game, there was some kid who had never played HL2 before (only episode 1) and was shouting things like "For Narnia!" and "When do I get the blue energy gun?".
