Fox-Shot
http://www.humblebundle.com/ Now's the time to grab 5 games for whatever you want to pay. Has anyone already bought it, and what are your thoughts of the games it has?
DoctorAllosaurus
Just bought it, worth it for VVVVVV and Crayon Physics alone.
Redeemer
What do each of these games do? I know nothing about them.
Fox-Shot
What do each of these games do? I know nothing about them. I'll tell you the genre/gameplay style. Crayon Physics Deluxe is a physics puzzle game where you draw shapes and things to solve puzzles. VVVVVV is an up/down gravity based sidescroller where you can't jump, but only change your gravity pull. And Yet It Moves is another gravity based sidescroller, but you can shift gravity in four cardinal directions, the focus is a more Portal-like "use the gimmick to have the physics help you" Cogs is a machinist/steampunk sliding tile puzzle game. Hammer Fight is an airship battle game where you only use your mouse to control the ship, a weight/battering object is tethered to your ship and you use the swirl of the ship to swing the weight in battle. Sabre
What do each of these games do? I know nothing about them. I'm going to be honest. You could sum this up as "VVVVVV and a bunch of games no one cares about". And Yet It Movies for example might as well in boxes of corn flakes at this point. VVVVVV is a platform game where you don't jump, you 'flip' from floor to ceiling, and the story is apparently funny. The graphics are styled like an only atari 5200 style game. You can play the demos of most of these games on steam, and they are pretty bad.
Icy
Sabre: Cogs, And Yet it Moves, and VVVVVV are all great games. Cogs just takes a classic puzzle type and makes it interesting, And Yet it Moves has a very interesting idea behind it, and VVVVVV is a great retro-style game with another interesting idea. The other two are the ones that I might agree with you on, although I haven't tried them yet.
Sabre
Cogs sounds interesting. A few people I know have 'and yet it moves' due to it being packed in with something else. Usually steam sale stuff. You are the first person I met who likes the idea and enjoys the game though. Purely from what people I talk to have brought up and mentioned, VVVVVV is the only one people seem to like or want to play, hence why I said anyone. I'd add cogs to that list if it was just my opinion. Also here's the first 15 minutes of the game http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-vvvvvv/17-1878/
Icy
Well, okay. I mostly did buy it for VVVVVV and And Yet it Moves since I loved the Wii demo. I bought Cogs on Steam a while ago. (A shame it didn't give me the gift option for it since I already own it) I suppose the main attraction is VVVVVV, though.
